I was looking for a specific watch that…

I was looking for a specific watch that I had been tracking off and on for 20 years. The watch showed up on lot-art. Lot art showed it as LOT 0022. This watch had deep sentimental value to me. I kept trying to see how to purchase the watch. The only way was to subscribe to a daily, 3 month, annual, and other levels of auction types. I figured if I only did the daily that was a small amount of money and missed the watch because I missed the auction, I'd lose the watch. So I paid over $40 for a 3 month subscription to allow ample time to get the watch. Once I signed up, paid, and logged in the watch could not be found. What a scam. I simply wanted to buy a watch!

Beware of Webbyware & Lot-Art – Scammers! 3 Years of Work, 4 Months Salary Unpaid

I worked honestly for Webbyware / Lot-Art for over 3 years, dedicating up to 15 hours a day, including weekends. I was loyal, efficient, and delivered high-quality work. However, after years of commitment, they terminated me without paying my last 4 months’ salary.

Every time I requested payment, they either ignored me or blocked me. The last communication I received was that “Lot-Art hasn’t cleared your invoices” — and since then, no response at all.

This behavior is not only unprofessional but clearly fraudulent. I have full proof of my work history, including emails, tasks completed, and working hours — and I am willing to share this with any legal or ethical authority.

I trusted this company, invested my time and energy, and now I am left unpaid with no explanation.
Please be careful before working with them or doing any kind of business.

Great to find unsold items too

Even when an auction house deleted their unsold items, Lot-Art has it. And they cover nearly the whole world.
The currently available auctions are of course all there too, and their search alert is very useful (especially if you want to cover the not-so-famous auctions too, like me).

This is not a trustworthy and reliable…

This is not a trustworthy and reliable company. They show pictures of auctions and when you need detailed information you have to buy access to their database. But this database is not maintained well so that they have some dead links inside. So you pay for dead links (Error 404). You should avoid this company!
