Excellent customer support

My daughter is a fan of Lottie dolls and we have made many purchases, all without issue. All dolls are well made and we never have issues with, for example, hair matting, that I have experienced with other dolls.

For Christmas I purchased the Lottie camping set and had a minor issue with one of the poles. When I contacted the company they were so incredibly helpful and very quick to resolve and send out the replacement part.

One of the best customer service experiences I have had from a company.

Do not order from them

Do not order from them, they are very misleading. I ordered through their website thinking that I was ordering from them directly, but the order was then dispatched and delivered by Amazon. They charged me an extortionate delivery price, when I could have had free delivery if I had ordered it directly through Amazon. But I will not purchase their products now either directly or indirectly on principle, and would recommend others do the same. There was no indication when I ordered that it would be processed through Amazon. So far they are refusing to reply to my emails.

Lottie Spreads Disability Stereotypes!

The dolls they make are great, but they do a LOT of stereotyping. The worst is the so-called "autism" doll. They made a doll that is (big surprise) a science genius who loves animals, because that's what the world thinks we autistics are. We are not. Autistics are as diverse as non-autistics. I'm SO SO SO sick of people meeting me for the first time and telling me "I know all about you because I saw/read/heard a documentary/book/article/movie/interview/etc." And they procede to tell me, "you're a science genius who loves animals and hates people". I tell them, no, I have no interest in science and I hate animals and love people and have spent my life working for nonprofits that help people. Every time, the new acquaintance/coworker/whoever tells me, "no, you're autistic, so that means you're a science genius who loves animals and hates people." It's frustrating because I do hate animals so much, especially dogs, that it causes incredible distress when people keep bringing their dogs around me, thinking that the dog is "therapy" to me even though I scream and run away and do everything I can to get that growly demon monster away from me.

And now there's a doll to spread that nonsense to the next generation. The doll wears a space suit, has a genius-themed t-shirt, and comes with a big ugly demon dog. We autistics will forever be trapped in a world that expects us to be science geniuses and that wants to push us away from human society and surround us with vicious demon dogs. You should NEVER allow a dog near an autistic person without getting their permission! Dogs cause far too much sensory overload of every type -- the loud barking, the jumping all over, the fast running so you can't get away, the licking, the biting, the stinky smell, the tail that smacks all around, the creepy scratchy hair, the snotty nose, the thorny claws, the demonic eyes that stare at you... it's too much sensory overload for most autistic people! There are books written about autistics' bad encounters with dogs. Keep them away from us!

Lottie's dolls are fine, the clothes are wonderful. It's one of the few companies left in the world that makes real doll clothes rather than computer-printed papery-plasticky-fake-fabric clothes. I love to play with dolls, and I like the real-fabric clothes, and I appreciate that they don't have the dreadful s_xy style that most dolls have. But there is NO EXCUSE for stereotyping people who are born with disabilities!

Fab customer service

My grand daughter lost the bridle for her Lottie horse and we were unable to buy spares. I contacted Lottie and they sent a couple of replacements free of charge with no hassle. Very happy customer!

A pointless 5 month wait!

To say I am unhappy with this purchase is an understatement. I have just received Rosie Boo! What a disappointment she is! 7" high and looks nothing like a Downs Syndrome child. I have waited 5 months for her arrival, I wanted to give her to my goddaughter so that she would become aware that all children are different, in reality this is a very small and significantly overpriced doll.

Great dolls, forward-thinking. Irish company.

I ordered a Lottie doll for my 3 year old niece for Christmas, as I really like the range and values/ethos of what they hope to instill in children. I ordered several gifts from other sites on the same day, about 7 days ago. I have received all other orders (one last week, one yesterday) but my Lottie Doll has not yet arrived.
I also noted that the company is advertised as Irish and Donegal based ( I am keen to support Irish businesses wherever possible! ) and it is great to see such progressive innovation with global appeal coming out of my favourite county!
