Attempted cover up!
I live in Portugal and imported a Jual glass topped coffee table incurring not inconsiderable additional carriage and import costs. I already own some Jual pieces and thought this table would compliment them nicely. The table was clearly dimensioned on the web page, the dimensions were for an oval table. As pictures are often ambiguous, (ovals can look circular) I relied on the PUBLISHED dimensions and ordered online. When the table was delivered it was circular. I emailed the company who essentially attempted to try to cover up the error by trying to make it my mistake. I was told that one of the photos was clearly dimensioned showing the table as circular (the dimensions were still included in the accompanying text and clearly still for an oval table). I was sent a link to a web page on their site showing the dimensioned picture, HOWEVER......I had taken a screen shot of the original web page which did NOT have any dimensioned picture! I sent this to them and they responded by asking me if I wanted to send it back, not a viable option from Portugal as that would have been expensive and time consuming.
The REAL point here is that they were DISHONEST, rather than own up to the mistake they tried to con me with a modified web page...They never even offered an apology...I kept the table but would never use this company again and I cannot recommend them. If they are dishonest at this level then who knows how they would deal with a serious issue. Buyer BEWARE!! ( I still have all of the supporting emails and pictures if anyone feels the need to see them)
