Very unprofessional company with very…

Very unprofessional company with very rude staff. I was left without telephone service & internet for 2 weeks. I complained and received a reply from someone called Amelia. She said the issue was the fault of BT but couldn’t prove it either way. BT did assure me that they were mis informed by Love-Energy and that it was their fault. They wouldn’t uphold my complaint so for that reason I would avoid doing business with them.

Just a broker who does not care

Just a broker who does not care. Love Energy brokered an account to Smartest Energy. When the contract account came to an end and we were invoiced £680 for an outage charge, no one could explain why. Love Energy has been useless in helping with our dispute, ending in possible litigation as no one can substantiate the charge that was never agreed. They have no influence with the supplier they recommend, and have left us hanging. Zero unaccountably and assiatnce.

Disappointing outcome from supplier recommendation

I was signed up to SmartestEnergy through Love Energy, and unfortunately the experience with the supplier has been very poor.
My account has been affected by significant billing issues, including invoices based on estimated readings that materially overstated actual consumption. Despite providing meter readings and evidence, the supplier has failed to resolve the issue and has continued to pursue payment while the account is in dispute.
While Love Energy were helpful during the initial setup process, there has been little value or support once the contract was in place. Given that the supplier was recommended through them, I would have expected a higher level of accountability or assistance when issues arose.
As a result, I have had to escalate the matter to the Energy Ombudsman.
Going forward, I would be cautious about relying solely on broker recommendations without fully understanding the supplier’s billing processes and customer service track record.

I encountered a rude and persistent salesperson who simply would not take no for an answer. When I declined, they resorted to threatening language, attempting to scare me into believing I would end up paying more. This approach was unprofessional and unacceptable.

Have no clout with the service provider

We agreed to a contract with BT Business through Love Energy in July. Fibre was installed at the beginning of November and we are still yet to get the cloud voice product. At no time during the sales process were we made aware of long delays. When I contacted the sales rep, she forwarded my email to a complaints handler without telling me. Tom has been responsive to my emails but has absolutely no clout with BT and therefore has not added anything to the process. In fact instead of chasing BT for updates, it has just meant me chasing two people. I am informed that it has been chased but the manager at BT hasn't called me and is clearly fobbing off Love Energy. If you can't make an impact to get the desired result what's the point in using a broker as a middleman? I wanted the time and effort taken off my hands but instead I've spent hours trying to sort this out. As I am at the very start of my contract with BT it is not re-assuring for how any future problems will be handled.

UPDATE January 26 - we now have broadband installed and are still waiting for work to be done on our cloud voice service - 6 months after we agreed to go with then. Have askwd love energy for complaints contact - again - and still waiting.
