I contacted the company to ask for the strain they use in their infant probiotic powder.
I contacted the company to ask for the specific probiotic strain designations used in this product. The response was that the information is “proprietary” and cannot be shared.
Strain-level identification is fundamental in probiotics. Clinical evidence, safety, efficacy, and expected effects are all strain-specific—not species-level. Without this information, it is impossible to independently evaluate the product, compare it to published research, or make an informed decision as a consumer.
For a product positioned as research-based, this lack of transparency is disappointing. I’ve chosen not to proceed further, as accountability and clear disclosure should be standard in this category.
