Lovelo just built me the most amazing custom Genesis gravel bike. When I couldn’t find the right bike for me they suggested a custom build. They listened to what I wanted at every step and advised me of all the components that would suit best. I would certainly recommend Lovelo.

Picked my bike up from repair today and mega impressed. All work undertaken as agreed, but the mechanic highlighted rather a lot of incremental work required to perform the agreed tasks - new break cable, repaired handlebar tape, headset retightened, new spoke etc. all at no extra cost. Long live businesses like this that go the extra mile.

I booked in (at short notice) for a bike fit at Lovelo's in Berkhamsted and was very impressed with Doug who made some small adjustments which have helped my cycling enormously. I had a slight niggle in the left knee which has since resolved itself after a change on cleat which was great and other changes included seat position & lowering the bars which has helped feel more compact and aero. Doug also is passionate about strength training / body fitness and sent across an email with details having discussed a few points which will help on a weekly basis. Can't fault the professional approach and would highly recommend.

For those who have not yet had the pleasure of shopping at Lovelo, it is a specialist cycle shop in Berkhamsted.
Prices on many items are surprisingly keen but where they really score is their knowledge and service, far superior to the local competitors I have tried so far.
Lovelo has helped get my bike back on the road quickly, efficiently and at a reasonable price many times now.
Be warned, however, they can get very busy and usually repairs need to be booked a few days in advance. They are not open on Sundays and not currently very late on other days, but sometimes they can be quite accommodating so it is always worth a phone call.
