Really bad customer service, typical "it's the customer's fault" mentality

Really bad customer service, they really don't care much about customer satisfaction from their products nor their service, like so many other companies in this area, the main thought is short term "how do we make more money? And how do we shift the blame to the customer?" instead of trying to build a long term good relationship with customers who will want to come back to you, or trying to listen for feedback.
And also the typical "well these are the rules!" nonsense in this culture instead of trying to find a solution and being flexible.

I really hoped this would be a good company as there are almost no companies selling healthy low carb products in this country, unfortunately maybe their products are good, but the customer service is the typically heartless attitude that you find around here, that's why I have to send the products back now at my own expense, and for the soups they refuse to give me a refund because technically the "tasting box" is opened, even though the individual soups are sealed and unopened and they also sell each one of them as individual products. So they could've tried to be flexible, but thank god they have "terms and conditions" so they can always get you on a technicality! Now they earned 15eur or however much I paid for the soup, but they lost the profit on the rest of the products and they lost maybe a customer for life. Hope it was worth it.

Worst delivery + customer service experience ever

The order was never delivered, it is now 6 weeks since it was made.

Since then we have sent 6 to 7 emails to customer service to request they fix it, and then when it became apparent it would never get delivered - a refund.

The refund has still not been provided. Their customer service requests you submit forms and other steps each time you ask, and then says they are waiting for an investigation by DHL.

I expect the refund will never come - and the fact that we have to chase them/ email them all the time for news is shocking. This says a lot about the ethics and values of the company.

I'm going to resort to a chargeback with my credit card company. That way I'm no longer dependent on Dr. Almond to do the right thing.

Recommend everyone avoid this company.

Update: After posting this review the package finally got delivered. I canceled the refund and didn't have to charge back. It took 49 days.
