Lowell’s were handling 3 accounts taken out fraudulently in a young disabled persons name whom I represented as a friend. They forgot to tell me that one account was already statute disbarred and blocked my attempts to have an investigation on the second account opened. I finally managed to achieve this and, following extensive evidence gathering by myself the account was closed by the original lender. The third account was subject to a CCJ so had to go back to the court for a set by order, which was awarded. Lowellls claimed to have no evidence of this despite a copy being sent to their bailiffs Overdales. I have since provided a copy of the CCJ set by to Lowell’s but have been contacted by their collections team on 2 occasions despite there being a “hold” on the account. I consider this to be harassment, it will be crystal clear to any employee looking at the account that it is being considered by the fraud team yet still I get these unprompted calls reassuring me “we are here to help” etc. They are a bunch of exploitative b******s that work in an industry which preys on the vulnerable, they should hang their heads in shame.

What more can be said about this company that has not been said before? I have often wondered why trust pilot dont offer negative stars as 1 star is too good for these clowns.
As others I had a genuine dispute with O2 that stretched back over 18 months without hem dealing with it. Along come these idiots who have 'bought' the debt but know nothing about it and are unwilling to go back and find out suggesting I do that. If O2 have not dealt with it in 18 months what chance do you think they are going to do so now. Countless emails, text messages, telephone calls all with the usual scare tactics

This company doesn’t even let people slowly die in peace. Absolutely the lowest of the low. Some could say monsters, scum, staff act smug preying on the old or the sick.

Reply from Lowell Group
Very upset and stressful. Have an O2 bill that was incorrectly billed to me to which O2 refunded about a year ago. This has been ongoing and each time I submit evidence its more endless questions.

Reply from Lowell Group
Chasing me for debt on an iphone I never received. O2 have agreed I didn't receive and have said there is no due debt on they're side. However this company persists in sending me letters. They need reviewing by the FSO

Reply from Lowell Group
Constant harrassment via mail for statute barred debts I do not owe. All their letters go in the bin.

Reply from Lowell Group
Have had letters for 3 years trying to

Received a letter from this firm for someone who used to live at our address.
We bought the house and moved in over 10 years ago - all public record.
Previous owners of debt harassed us and ending up having to pay compensation.
Now a new firm is chasing the debt.
I rang their helpline, you're not allowed to talk to anyone unless you owe them.
I rang their complaints line - it just says you can't talk to anyone
I tried to use their online form but they want loads of personal details they don't require as we don't owe them anything.
Clearly just after cash and don't care how they upset or inconvenience innocent and disinterested people.
Why would it not help them to cease harassing unconnected people?

I owed money on a credit card, been chasing me for a long time. Nobody was aggressive but they did have a wrong number for me.
I offered 65% if the debt and they cleared the full amount. I gave them a 3 star mainly because I begrudge paying

This company purchased 11 debts of mine some very old I'm talking over 10 years old on some, they are very aggressive with trying to get their money they don't care if you're on low income or struggling but I had the last laugh as I was given a DRO & writ the whole lot off!
*response to your feedback you take reviews Veey seriously not sure why because you're in the business of hounding people who are struggling financially you pretend to care but the bottom line is you want to suck struggling people dry

Worst Company in the world and the company ask for private health information when health has nothing to do will Lowell and they like Scare and frighten and bully people to break point and customer service is disrespectful and disgusting and there even lie about email sent to you as an error but it is in fact a scare tactic to frighten special need people and more worrying they do not Care about your special needs at all and Lowell are the complete disgraceful and disrespectful to special needs people and Lowell will never stop bullying and frightening people to break point which is completely disgusting and disgraceful and unacceptable behaviour from this completely worlds worst ever company in the world that has completely destroyed me and now I am at breaking point

Unable to take payment, online form does not allow you to submit an inquiry without a UK phone number
And if you’d like a test of their integrity - note how they present their trustpilot score vs what it actually is - in their emails they suggest they have a 5 star rating, if you look closely it’s just that ‘Sharon from Coleraine’ is a single 5 star reviews in a sea of 1 stars

Constant phone calls and texts telling me I had an account with them. Couldn’t complain because you need an account number I didn’t have one (because I haven t got an account!!!). No debt, no current or old store cards are in debt accounts anywhere. Endless texts and calls - not able to block them. Finally got them to take my number off the system when they realised they had the wrong person - wrong address, wrong date of birth. No apology for all the harassment. Disgraceful, unethical scam artists. Shouldn’t be allowed

This company is absolutely disgusting! A fraudulent debt that was sold to them by Three Mobile in my name, after a fraudster has made my life absolute hell for the past two and a half years. I have sent the proof over that has been requested by Lowell, I sent on the 16th May, I then phoned for an update at the end of May, to be told by the advisor to ring back mid June as the e-mail team was behind! I have rang back today to say that they have not even received my e-mail, why was I not told this at the end of May! I have been refused a mortgage renewal because of this fraud on my credit report. IT IS NOT MINE, vile, disgusting company! If you want to try and help me, my reference is 469533830, please find my e-mail and help this nightmare to end for me! I am partially deaf so response by e-mail is desirable.

Lowell are nothing but legalised robbers who prey on the vulnerable. They are trying to get money out of me for an old mobile phone i had 5 years ago with sky and claiming I owe £1100 which i have sent screenshots of this being paid off and settled. They offer bully boy tactics so I sent a stern email to not harass me. They should not be allowed to operate in this country and should be struck off as a debt collector or whoever they are. They are a bunch of mugs if they think I'm paying it when it's already cleared.

Reply from Lowell Group
I am being chased for a debt (it says originally from JD Williams) I have never had an account with them. I am just going to block and ignore them.

Reply from Lowell Group
