I received a letter just today and the ask me to pay for 89.67gb. The reason why I need to pay the said because I had a debt from three mobile. And which is I don't have any debt from three. I'm paying monthly for my mobile contract. Actually i had insurance for along time ago til now i didnt cancel and I'm still paying for it. It was 10gb before now I'm paying for 20gb plus. And I ask the Indian custumer service to cancel and he doesn't help me. How could it be this is ridiculous. Last year the send me a letter twice for 2 payments. And here we go again I had another payment.

Why do these companies for profit still exist? Cruel, unethical, harassment bullying, intimidation, extortion, surly our constitutional rights should not allow such people to gain monetary interest and use force to private homes. Under bills of exchange such fraudulent companies should not be operating

Scumbags

Lowell Debt: Masters of empty threats and zero proof. They chase people with claims they can’t even back up. Here’s a thought: provide actual evidence before demanding payment.

Where’s the original agreement? The Deed of Assignment? Notices? Default letters? Compliant legal documentation under Section 136 of the Law of Property Act 1925 or Section 44 of the Companies Act 2006? Oh, right—nowhere to be found.

Until they can meet their legal obligations, their demands are just noise. Don't let them intimidate you. Fight back and expose their dodgy practices! Leave your review and make your voice heard.

Been paying a direct debit for over a year the bill was £500 from EE to do with a WiFi box I hadn’t sent back & extra charges as it was misplaced, I’ve been paying over £30 on direct debit for over a year a half now maybe longer tried contacting them via phone call but been told I need a reference number which I no longer have access to due to address change & no letters to hand so emailed them to get in touch to find out the reference number so I could find out how much I’ve got left to pay on my current debt & despite numerous emails I’ve heard absolutely nothing off of them, going through old bank statements & going to track it myself & if over the amount that was on the account will be requesting a refund not impressed.

Shockingly poor customer service

Their customer service is shocking. They are clueless, slow, and have no idea how to do their jobs. After 25 mins on chat, I had to give up as the agent was too slow and was ignoring my questions.
UPDATE: Yes I see you tried to have this review removed, unfortunately for you though, I have supplied Trustpilot with my details.

Have been harassing me, will take legal action if needed.

Have been harassing me via email, phone and letter. They have said because of an account I had years ago with Lloyds (I assume they mean Halifax account which I believe is owned by the Lloyds group) bank I owed them money, I did have the account and actually signed up a direct debit to pay them and paid one amount before I realised it's all a scam. I told them.that this account was taken out during a health issue I was having and I wouldn't have been able to properly sort my finances so to start this now is extra insensitive. But they didn't apologise and drop the whole thing.

It may be that Halifax have wrongly passed on a nonexistent debt to Lowell so they could also be at fault but obviously the way organisations like Lowell operate (as you can clearly see from other reviews) is an absolute disgrace. I have heard of people getting CCJ's and bad credit because of this group.

If they continue I'll be taking them to court, see what a judge thinks when I explain the case! I am currently speaking to a solicitor and will update my progress.

Also not paying attention to the fixed 'oh we are so sorry and hear to help messages' they are replying to these reviews on Trust Pilot. Of course they are not.

I wish I had paid attention to my gut feeling with how unprofessional they sounded on the phone, and so keen to get as much money as possible paid. They owe me £80 back which I did pay before cancelling the direct debit.

Bunch of scumbags

The template used is so disingenuous it is almost funny: "Reply from Lowell Group

Please be assured we’re fully regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). We work with all our customers to help manage their debt in a way that works for them, not against them, and that fits their financial situation. If you want to talk about your issue, please contact us at ________ ."

You quoting the FCA is no assurance of compliance or good standards in 2024. The FCA are as crooked, if not more so than you lot. Bunch of acumbag white collar criminals in suits. You don't fool me. When was the last time the FCA actually audited or inspected your business records or policies and procedures?? Never.

Afraid it's not a zero

Afraid it's not a zero. One star is not deserved. This is what you deserve. How can this so called firm spend their lives intimidating and upsetting people? What a life it must be. What a waste!
15 years ago I had a debt relief order. All my debts were wiped off , as is normal. I am now being harassed for a debt included in the order which clearly they are not allowed to do.
These people in my opinion are not only stupid, in their ignorance of the law, but clearly have their own rules.
I hope the day will come very soon when they will face the consequences.
My advice is to ignore them if you can. I expect a patronising phony and insincere response will follow this post. Don't bother.

DISGUSTING LIARS AFTER MONEY WHEN DEBTS ARENT EVEN PEOPLES DEBTS

Since you like taking the P out of people, I will leave this here. I issued an initial complaint to yourselves as the debt I initially received is not mine. I issued a complaint and to summarise you clearly stated yourselves to have upheld my complaint with sincerest apologies due to the distress of being contacted for a debt not mine on top of losing my mother and having a family with a 2 year old to provide for too. None of the less the debt is NOT mine which I have the entire document of yourselves confirming. However, you have sent me an email stating I need a payment plan and you have tried to contact me regarding it. Why are you STILL pursuing me for a debt that you confirmed is not mine and upheld my complaint with sincerest apologies telling me that it was basically resolved and done with to now be still harassed for a debt even clarified by yourselves as not mine. You have caused me further mental and emotional distress, I want this addressing promptly and dealing with or I will be pursuing the relevant Ombudsman and even seeking action to take it further as what you have done is disgusting and now proceeding to do. My initial complaint reference is: 572802.

Regards.
