............. My 1st night was a walk-in which they charged me $173 + $50 deposit! At this piece of trash
Health conditions in rooms. 0
I came here because of having to leave my home due to respiratory allergies.
This hotel rooms have No ventilation or exhaustion in any rooms
No ceiling fans, no screens on widows or doors, no portable fans to lend to guests
Staff replied to my request for portable fans vaguely, making it sound that at that moment no fans were available but at my 3rd night, after having asked m every day, I was told they do NOT have fans to lend to guests at all / ever!
Checking out the night before my reservation ends without a refund despite safety and health conditions being subpar. Today a homeless lady impersonated a guest at the front desk lobby during my breakfast and "borrowed" my phone! Luckily I felt something was odd and was able to grab my phone from her. She sneaked and followed me to my room. When I surprised see her and try to open my room door, the key had deactivated misteriously, 1st of this event in the 4 nights of this stay. Front desk explains to me that lady is not allowed in the property, notwithstanding did not let her know she should leave.
Terrible customer service and theft
Stayed here for one night and it was a very unpleasant experience - I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here. The front desk staff (and manager on duty) were rude, condescending and impatient, treating us as if we were a burden. To top it all off, our personal belongings were stolen. We had accidentally left one of our bags in the bag cart outside of our room after check-in. By the time we realized, the cart had been taken downstairs. We asked the front desk employee and she said she had seen the bag, described the color and contents (they had opened the bag, which in itself is an invasion of privacy, mind you). She checked the “back office” and said it wasn’t there, and said she was busy, did not have time to look for it, and had to check in other guests but could look into the issue later. We had to go to an event so we gave her our room number and cellphone contact so she could give us an update later that day, and left the hotel. By 10 pm we were back in our room and had heard nothing from the hotel, so we called the front desk to follow up, and again they were very rude and said that the bag “had not turned up” and that she would notify the manager the next day so she could help us resolve the issue. The next day upon checkout, we talked to the manager on duty and she said she was not told about the incident but would reach out to the employee to try to find out what happened with the bag. They were evasive and defensive when we pressed them on our now stolen property. It has been 3 days and we haven’t heard anything from the hotel, and now have filed a formal inquiry to for negligent handling of our property. In addition to this terrible service and effective theft of belongings, the property is very dated and smells of mold and cigarettes. Rooms are tiny, beds uncomfortable, and the bathroom light is so old it hums loudly (as well as the A/C). The price was as expensive as competitors in the area and they delivered a terrible experience and stay. It’s safe to say I am never staying at a La Quinta property again.
Disappointed/Uncomfortable stay
I've stayed at the La Quinta a few times this summer and it was great but this last time was awful 😞 They had to move us three times because the rooms were dirty and there were bugs. Then the last room we ended up in the tv was broken. I went with my children so I was not happy about it. I wasn't happy with the pool area either. It was really gross! Trash everywhere and the pool was dirty. Beer cans all over. They have a rule that there is no drinking in the pool area but they allowed it the two nights we stayed. It looked like a party went on all weekend. The walls inside are peeling off and all the carpets looked so dirty and stained. And bugs. Completely unacceptable. I tried to get in touch with the manager of the place but Mr. Patel has decided he doesn't care about his customers or if they had a comfortable stay in the hotel. I've emailed twice with pictures. I'm highly disappointed with my last stay and the lack of management giving a crap.
Made reservation by telephone
Made reservation by telephone. Got to hotel, a two story building and we had been assigned a "suite" on the second floor. However, my wife is disable and can not do stairs safely, so we were given a room on the first floor with no compensation for the low quality room.
This hotel is in such disrepair that I'm extremely surprised that La Quinta allows this franchisee to operate under the La Quinta banner. Wyndham needs to visit this place and pull their franchise.
So bad that even the Gideons don't put a bible in the room.
Not recommended
My wife and I stayed at this hotel on 4/28/24. The hotel is not clean at all. All the floors needed vacuuming. Windows need to be cleaned. The rooms need to be cleaning. This hotel really needs to be renovated. It’s just not a place we want to stay. Hair all over the floor, paint peeling off the ceiling, dirty tub and plenty more. See photos!!
