LT Writing Scam - STAY AWAY!

My true rating of LT Writing would be -0, but that was not an option!

I totally agree with the review from K. Sata Sathasivan on January 25, 2026. I too was scammed out of several thousand dollars from LT Writing.

I also worked with Anna Park and Peter Davidson and was left totally disappointed, had many broken promises, and left feeling helpless from them both.

K. Sata Sathasivan, if you see this post, please email me at via Face Book, as I am very interested in working with you on your class action lawsuit. I have detailed notes and recordings of meetings where I confronted both Anna and Peter about their broken promises and proving they lied about most of their promises.

LT-Writing is Fraudulent Company

LT-Writing is fraudulent company that will do initial things to publish your book and then hook you with scam projects and then do not refund your money or pick up your calls. The main culprits are Anna Park, Angela Martin and Peter Davidson.

I have hired a collection agency with lawyers. The lawyer could not contact anyone in their company and their mailing address is fake address with just a mail box.

The company has no owner name listed anywhere, and their domain address in Go Daddy is also refusing to reveal the name and address of the owner of this company running these scam projects.

If anyone is interested to file a class action lawsuit, please contact me. You can find my details online if you search for Sathasivan. I can ask my lawyers to consider including your case against this fraudulent company and its owner.

If I could rate a 0 I would

If I could rate a 0 I would, these people are not who they seem to be. I have spent over $10,000 CDN with them on my website. I can’t get an invoice, login credentials or any support. They seem to have fallen off the face of the earth. I can’t get access to my website and or my domain. There is what you get when you goggle the contact numbers. Main contact for the company 1-408-740-3663 possible spam, 1-315-634-6618 the back up number catfish. And the last number is supposed to be my support person Peter 1-646-397-8361. Is a goggle phone number that is not answering. Beware people!

Ugh. Ripped off.

It is now exactly one year since I I was convinced by this company to invest 900 dollars to exhibit my new children’s book at a book fair in San Diego. The book sold 120 copies, the company informed me. I have received zero royalties after being given several different dates for when payment would be received. The company is no longer responding to texts, emails or phone calls. Beware. Be warned. Be careful. This company is rotten, fraudulent, corrupt. Do not be sucked in.

Extremely Disappointed – Proceed with Caution

If I could give zero stars, or even negative ten, I would.

In October 2023, I handed over a 100+ page script to LT Writing, expecting it to be transformed into a memoir. Despite the involvement of multiple individuals, who were supposedly professionals, the project is still far from completion.

In January this year, I received persistent phone calls urging me to purchase additional services like Social Media Marketing & SEO Services for my book launch. After declining, all communication ceased abruptly, leaving me feeling disregarded and undervalued as a client.

Since then, I've been met with daily unfulfilled promises regarding my refund request, often citing reasons like "auditors are here" or asking me to "wait." This consistent lack of follow-through has left me questioning LT Writing's financial integrity and commitment to their clients. I have documented all communications and can provide them if you need them.

While I'm not advising against using LT Writing, I'd like potential clients to exercise caution. As of now, I have neither received my memoir nor a written assurance, nor a refund, that my work won't be used in future projects or for potential earnings. It's disheartening to see a company associated with the esteemed name of Leo Tolstoy not upholding its commitments.

LT Writing, a company that prides itself on employing the best ghostwriters, has disappointed me deeply. The fact that my 100+ page memoir remains unfinished after nearly two years raises serious questions about the professionalism of their team. This experience feels more akin to working with high school-level ghostwriters than seasoned professionals, starkly contrasting their self-proclaimed standards.

Based on all these reviews, it's clear that LT Writing has breached multiple contracts—will anyone be holding them accountable for this?

02 - May - 2025 - I still haven’t received my money back from LT Writing. No refund, no book — I lost both my time and money. I’m done with this company! Be cautious when dealing with them — I wouldn’t recommend trusting them with your work or your payment.

I signed a contract with LT…

I signed a contract with LT Publishers/Writing in October of 2023. At first I was receiving chapters to check for editing. I was not always pleased with their edits and worked with Jessica. They actually ended sentences with prepositions! Then there was a seven week delay where I heard from nobody, Finally in early January 2024 I began working with Alan. Most of the time I was satisfied with his work and he answered my questions. Every time he called me, it cost me money, and I told him that. I was charged with the ISBN number and copyright $500. Which as others have pointed out is free or lower in cost. The contract promised me that my book would be placed on ten websites; so far it is on Amazon only. I asked that my book be released in early October. It was not and caused me to lose the opportunity to sell any books at these events. Finally it was on Amazon. But I had no copies of my own. I paid LT $700 dollars for 50 copies -- paperback and hardback. Another person at LT often called me trying to get me to invest more money in marketing ideas. I did not do this, since I felt that I had already paid more money than I had planned. The ordered books have never arrived; neither have the five free books I was promised and as I said the book is not on the other websites as promised. When I first contacted LT it was through a chat on Bethany House Publishers. Angela told me they were a subsidiary of Bethany?? Is that true? I have no way of knowing. All phone calls to LT are "busy" No emails are answered since October 2024. And now their website is down. I do have a lovely book, but do not have my own copy, just those of others who have ordered it thru Amazon. The cover design was done by an artist friend. LT first attempt to give my main character a face was quite disappointing -- almost clownlike!!
Find another publisher. I'm not sure where LT is!!

Avoid LT Writing at ALL COSTS!

Wow! Where do I begin? I signed a contract with LT Writing in the summer of 2023 to help me publish my first book. They promised me an entire team of professional editors, timely & prompt responses to any inquiries, 100% royalties, and 50 paperback copies of my book upon completion. I needed to sign the agreed-upon contract and pay $1200 to get started. There were additional costs along the way, including $1000 for ISBNs for my book in various formats (e-book, paperback, hardcover). I later realized this was a ridiculous amount, as Amazon KDP services provide ISBNs for free. Further research on obtaining ISBNs reveals a modest $50-100 charge for paperback and hardcover. You don't need an ISBN for e-books.
During the 18 months of working with them, I went through 4 different managers for unknown reasons. It seemed that when I started asking questions, there were long delays in responding, and the result was that a new manager was assigned to my case. The process continued repeatedly - hence, the four managers assigned to me. It took a few months, but I soon realized these folks were scamming me. I completed my book in less than a year, but the delays and non-response to my questions about publishing and royalties dragged this debacle further. The book editing was complete by the fall of 2024, but I had had enough. I requested they send me 50 copies of the completed book per the signed contract/agreement. I was told they would arrive by Thanksgiving, then the week before Christmas, then absolutely NLT Christmas Eve. I am still waiting! I can't reach anyone on the phone; my emails are returned as Permanent Errors - Undeliverable. Folks - LT Writing is a scam!
I want the books promised to me in the contract, that's all! By the way, I finished my book NOT through LT Writing editing services but by subscribing to Grammarly.com. I am 99% sure that LT Writing utilizes the same service!
Finally, as mentioned earlier, there were additional charges for services, like $2200 for something called "optimization," where LT Writing will ensure that any Google prompts over the Internet for your book search will go directly to the top of the page of all queries. I did not 'bite' on that one!

I wouldn't waste my money

I started my contract with LT-writing more than a year ago and have since gone through four publishing assistants. They hand off my left-over contract information but never get it done. I'm still waiting for quite a few things from them, including my 50 copies, my business cards, my bookmarks, and my marketing. They have yet to finish my website, even though they say they've been working on it for two months.
I wouldn't waste my money; it's very frustrating, and they're always asking for more.

Some Good; Mostly Very Bad.

If LT is still in business, read on. I had misgivings with my first two books published by LT. Still, after resolving all of the issues, I decided to publish a third book with them -- their highly discounted fee was irresistible, and they agreed to a downpayment of 50% with the remaining 50% when the book was to be sent to Amazon for publishing. The good: My book and my website look very good – five stars. The bad forces one star. They did not file for a copyright, per the contract, but did after I notified them. They contractually agreed to publish my book in a 5x8 format and then discovered what they should have known: Amazon will not print hardcover in that size. My book had to be reformatted. They wanted $2,000 to house my website but lowered that to $540 when I told them I would use GoDaddy. When the website went kablooey, they wanted $2,000 to ‘optimize’ it. I had Texas Web Studios fix it for $200. When I asked if the Author’s Guide’s negative statements were factual, they did not respond. I often needed to repeatedly ask a question before I received a reply. if I asked more than one question in an email, I typically did not receive a reply to all of the questions. They have not replied to my phone messages or emails for the last seven days. I have not received the 'author's copies' in my contract, and I doubt I will. I wonder if any of the five-star reviews are authentic.

Beautifully Guided by a Professional Caring Team

I hired LT Writing to publish my second book, "The Adventures of the Borscht Belt Kids." Never having worked with a publisher before, I was a little naive about many of the logistics I had no experience with and relied on them for advice, communication, and support. Although the road was a bit bumpy, I was fortunate to work with Ms. Jenika Snow and Trevor Garcia, who were ALWAYS available to answer many of my dumb questions (LOL). This is a group of young people filled with energy and the desire to please.
They made the project work, a little longer than I was comfortable with however, if you stay vigilant the work progresses quite smoothly.
Overall, their work speaks for itself with a beautifully perfect outcome.
Ms. Snow is, like everyone I dealt with, soft spoken and EXTREMELY patient with this author. Thank You Jenika.
