I bought a gold modern table lamp in November. I charged the lamp but it didn’t work, even after buying a replacement globe. I sent videos of the lamp not working, including evidence that once unplugg... See more

Luceco security floodlight
I bought a luceco security LED floodlight to replace a halogen one that had worked well for 12 years or more. The new light worked for a few months then failed. Now, when activated, light just flickers dimly instead of proper illumination. (It was also less adaptable in direction and sensitivity than the old light at installation time, but that was a relatively minor issue compared to the failure.) My verdict: very poor quality unreliable product.
Faulty within a few months
Old halogen garden floodlight must have worked for 15 years+. Floodlight was moved to side of conservatory so we chose a Luceco twistable IR LED mains powered floodlight. Within a couple of months it would no longer turn off after detecting movement and now it just flickers dimly with some of the LEDs in the panel off so it can no longer even be used from the main switch either. Complete junk...
Disappointing service
Good to deal with until something does wrong, emails ignored customer service poor
Terrible customer service
Fully kitted out a house in bg nexus sockets and switches, some have started to fail after 2 years and bg dont want to know even though theres a 10 year warranty, whats worse i cant buy new to replace them as the colour has discontinued. Further to this i bought switches 4 months ago for an extension, ive gone to buy sockets to match and the sockets have been discontinued. Bg keep repeating i should go back to the retailer even though ive told bg the retailer wont take them back and doesnt solve the problem of not matching the rest of the house. Then they rudely decided to close the case without any resolution. Useless customer service, useless company. Will never buy anything from them again.
The best solar flood light
I bought a Luceco led with detached solar panel after two cheap Chinese made floodlights bought from AliExpress both died in a row in short time. This is more expensive but so much better in quality. It has been lighting my garden for more than a year now without any issue at all. Quality product works out cheaper in the long run.
A Landfill manafactor
I totally agree with the previous review.
I have 3 Led batons at £44 each which now 2 have failed ,customer service was no help not even spare parts or repair so please do not buy Master Plug ..
Total Landfill because of poor construction.
My LED floodlight expired shortly after…
My LED floodlight expired shortly after the warranty expired. Judging by reviews left on this website to me it seems Luceco makes products that conform to planned obsolescence design principles.
"Planned obsolescence describes a strategy of deliberately ensuring that the current version of a given product will become out of date or useless within a known time period. This proactive move guarantees that consumers will seek replacements in the future, thus bolstering demand."
The support team is anonymous. I felt like I was dealing with a faceless unsympathetic organisation. Unapologetic and non existent empathy is the best way to describe my interaction with them.
Terrible product, even worse "support"
Masterplug EV charger generates a fault – usually immediately, but occasionally after a few minutes.
Luceco (who now own Masterplug) say that I need a separate circuit dedicated to EV charging – despite there being no mention of this in the product literature (which explicitly says that it "uses a standard domestic 3 pin socket") and the expectation that a "Granny Charger" will work at your granny's (who's unlikely to have such a circuit).
Poor product and poor customer service
Faulty LED worklight
I had a problem with faulty LED worklight. As it was more than 12 months but less than 24 they asked me to return it to them, at their expense. A short while later a brand new light arrived. Can't complain about that!
Poor product and hopeless customer service
Bought a Luceco exterior decorative E27 coach lantern which was to be installed by an experienced electrician, on opening the box it became obvious that the included instructions bore no relationship to the product inside. On contacting Luceco customer services, my electrician was told to email them with photographs, which he did and was told he would receive a response in 24 hours, no help at all when a paid electrician is trying to install it on the day and has other jobs lined up ! After this lucecos response was to ask for more photos of the box which were sent and they then asked for more photos of the box, they didn't appear to have a clue !! The electrician returned at a later date and managed to get the light working but not how it's described on the box or instructions.
Poor quality products and aftercare
Poor quality service and aftercare. Brought their floodlights from toolstation and the screwfix. 4 in total and 3 failed after 12 months soon as the shop 12 months cover ran out. Was told to contact luceco but said they cant help as product warranty ran out. How can 3 of the same products sensor go bad so quick. Who expects to replace their floodlight every year? Unless company and no help. Avoid their products and Wessex ones to as they're made from the same company.

Short lasting Led security lights.
I have had two Luceco Led spotlights the first lasted just short of 12 months and was replaced under warranty , the replacement lasted slightly longer, about 15 months . They are quite expensive for an LED light so I had hoped for much better . Now replaced with a less expensive make that gives a 3 year warranty . Will see how that one gets on. I have two other halogen p.i.r security lights both fitted over 20 years ago. The
bulbs on these last on average 5/6 years.
EV Car Charger
EV Car Charger - Pin sheared off, escalated to Gareth Yeomans but just kept to the script that "it was over the 12 Month Period". It last under 2 Years - a £180 Car Charger. They wouldn't take it back for repair or offer anything as a gesture of goodwill. Pretty poor policies & customer service.

Bought a Master plug Adaptor with two USB charge sockets. It failed after only a couple of months occasional use. I will not be buying any more of this companies and the associated brands products Also look reviews for Master Plug
Poorly made, Landfill
I totally agree with the previous review.
I have had numerous items fail with the same fault - all the company is interested in is asking whether I have a receipt, not the fact that these failures leave live wires / connections exposed posing a risk of electric shock.
Total Landfill because of poor construction.
Made in Cheap, landfilled in the UK
Nice looking LED floodlights but PIR very small and breaks easily. Warranty 12 months, but only lasts avg 14 months on multiple units (4). Socially Responsible Production means not aiming for the lowest price and having to produce substandard equipment.
