I loved everything about this magical place, and I can't wait to return. The position is absolutely stunning, and the view of the lake sublime. Sitting in a comfortable chair on the patio of the tent, looking out over the lake, is one of the most pleasurable and relaxing experiences I can think of. It makes you feel at peace with the world. The tent is large and spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and the wooden patio in front of the tent is the perfect place to relax, to read, to enjoy the glorious view.
I loved the fact that there is only one tent, so that you have total privacy. This is a rare experience and one that I greatly appreciated. I also loved the fact that refugees are supported through this project and I was pleased to meet Emmanuel.
And I love the ethical principles that underlie the project. My congratulations to Leo and his team - this is a little piece of Paradise!

The atmosphere is peaceful, intimate, and authentic, making it a perfect place for a couple looking to disconnect and enjoy total tranquility together.

The tent itself was incredibly comfortable, honestly one of the comfiest stays I’ve ever had. Everything felt cozy, relaxing, and thoughtfully arranged, creating the perfect balance between nature and comfort. A truly special glamping experience, and we would come back with great pleasure

We heard about the place from friends and wanted to test it out as we were looking to enjoy a weekend away from Rome without going too far. It turned out to be the most refreshing getaway! Waking up to the amazing view of the Nemi lake is in itself pure bliss, but combined to the quiet, peaceful surroundings, and the warm welcome by Leo (who put so much incredible work in building that cosy tiny home!) it took the experience to another level. We highly recommend and will surely come back, with or without kids, as a nice family escape or a solo regenerating retreat !

An absolutely magical glamping experience in Nemi: waking up to breathtaking views over Lake Nemi surrounded by nature was pure relaxation, combining comfort and charm in a truly unique setting. The accommodation is beautifully designed, peaceful, and impeccably maintained, making it the perfect escape from the city, while the breakfast was generous, fresh, and delicious—enjoyed with an unforgettable view that alone is worth the stay. A perfect blend of comfort, nature, and calm, we would 100% recommend it and can’t wait to come back.

I had such a beautiful stay at Luce sul Lago — it truly exceeded my expectations. I spent two nights in the safari tent, and waking up each morning to the stunning view over Lake Nemi was simply magical. Seeing the reflection of Genzano di Roma (the town in front) on the lake, like a mirror, is something I won’t forget anytime soon.

The experience felt very peaceful and connected to nature — waking up to the sound of birds, enjoying a delicious breakfast, and taking in the view right from the bed made it incredibly special.

During my stay, I had the chance to explore the area: I went hiking in the Castelli Romani, swam in the lake, rented a kayak, and even used the bicycles available on-site to go on a lovely ride around the surroundings. There’s so much to do, yet it still feels calm and relaxing.

If you’re looking for a place to slow down, recharge, and enjoy nature just outside of Rome, I can’t recommend Luce sul Lago enough. I’ll definitely be back!
