Unique Kokeshi dolls, excellent customer service!!

I ordered 7 Kokeshi dolls and I am thrilled!! The dolls are of amazing quality with attention to detail. Truly a work of art! The packaging is superb to make a great unboxing! I cannot thank enough the customer service who helped me get my order. Due to a problem with our local courier they sent my parcel back and the company re-delivered my package with a different courier for no extra charge. I am so happy with my purchase! I will surely buy more dolls from this shop when I decide to add more to my collection! Thank you for everything!!

Unprofessional

Many things went wrong with my order and they have admitted the problems.

The most weird, misleading and unfair practice is their voucher system. If you have 15€ voucher, the value of the voucher is divided between the number of products in your order. So if you have two items, Lucie Kaas gives 7,5€ discount per item. That's fine if they deliver everything in the order. BUT if they can't do that (because of the product availibility, error on their website) and only sent you 1 item, you will loose half of the value of your voucher. When you point out the unfair practice, they only say "but our system does it automatically".

Worst of all was their attitude: telling a customer that they need to do profit with their business and blaming a customer who asks after customer rights and misleading practices. If they are professionals, they need to make sure beforehand that they make enough profit.

Instead taking the full responsibility, they think they can skip the EU regulations about customer rights and misleading practices when they write on their terms site "Lucie Kaas cannot guarantee that the content of the website is free from errors or mistakes. Furthermore, we cannot guarantee that all product information is up to date, including product availability.”

Something positive at the end: they ship very fast and also refund was fast. Unfortunately it does't save the face of Lucie Kaas, when the attitude is what it is.

Excellent!

Buying from DK, the package was shipped within the hour and arrived within 24 hours! Very well packaged too and exactly as described/presented in pictures. Very happy with this transaction!

Good product but poor shipping (to UK).

Good product but prepare to deal with a poorly managed shipping company. I ordered six lotus dining plates and two lotus serving plates. These were in excellent condition as they had been packed well and arrived in a fairly timely manner. However, the reason I think it is more hassle than it is worth to order from this company (if you are in the UK), is that the shipping company they use was absolutely horrendous to deal with. As this product was imported I had to pay some import fees, which I'm aware of and more than ok with. However, the shipping company kept showing up at my door to deliver the package only to tell me they could not hand it to me as import fees were not paid. I tried to pay on the shipping company's website but the site was broken and the payment function did not allow any payments to be made. Trying to circumvent this, I attempted to use the company's pay-via-phone option, but this led me into an eternal loop of being forwarded on to another customer service agent. After being stuck on the phone with this company for four hours and after being forwarded at least 7 times to other customer service agents (I lost count eventually), I just gave up and had to deal with another round of import-payment-hell at a later time. It is a little sad as Lucie Kaas packed the items well and delivered an excellent product, just as described. However, with an experience like I had with the shipping company they use, I would not recommend buying from them if you're located in the UK.
