The salesman Scott, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He explained and helped with loading the scooter in the car. The product is pricey but well constructed. It’s my fourth Luggie now and I’ve always been pleased with them.

I was delighted to receive my Luggie scooter as I have mobility issues with my disability which means I cannot walk very far. I have great freedom and independence now, I can go out and about anywhere with my Luggie scooter and it has given me a new lease of life. My advice would be to have a test drive first at your home. I had the unfortunate experience buying from a well-known shop only to find the scooter was not suitable around my home. After a lot of back and forth I was able to return. I then rang Luggie and got my happily ever after.

DANGEROUS!
The Luggie Super Travel ( 2 small wheels at front in the centre) folds down to a small suitcase size which is great HOWEVER my mum has been tipped off it twice when going up a dropped kerb and on another occasion it tipped but I was at her side and luckily caught her.
The second time she tipped off was just 2 weeks ago - she’s hurt her leg and now needs daily care as can’t walk much and is unable to go upstairs.
What appeared to be a product which was going to give my mum the freedom to go out with us has in-fact caused her to be housebound.
Customer service were no help - offering to service the scooter at huge costs or a part exchange- not even showing concern that mum had been injured.
THESE SCOOTERS NEED TO BE MORE RIGOROUSLY TESTED - THEY SHOULD BE FAR MORE STABLE THAN THEY ARE.
Hope this review helps people make the right choice and not end up injured and housebound.

Fantastic investment - highly recommend
I love my luggie scooter. I've had it for a few years and just love the independence it allows me. I have 3 children so having this scooter allows me to keep up with them on days out. Rather than needing to stop and rest I can keep going!
It looks great too, I've had a lot of compliments when I've been out using it.
There is no key so I purchased a bicycle lock to use when I'm out. To be honest though, most mobility scooters use a generic key So aren't really that secure.
The scooter folds flat in scateboard position or compact. Scateboard position allows you to wheel it and get it into the car when you are alone. It doesn't take up much room in the boot if the car which is important especially when going on holiday.
Local mobility in Leigh have been very helpful when I asked about taking the scooter abroad and have sent me the battery information certificate as I don't know where mine is.
These scooters are more expensive than standard scooters but are worth the investment.

The luggie lives up to all expectations – I can honestly say that this scooter has out performed the two I already own- Its design i doubt could even be improved – It is functional in every aspect that the disabled require. Its profile is easily reduced for transportation and what is more it is un-obstructive when shopping. To top it off- the fantastic aftercare service I have received so far. I lost an armrest screw and a quick phone call I ordered another on next day delivery. You can actually ring the customer service and speak to a person! Rare these days. Thanks Local Mobility

Phone always answered promptly by pleasant, helpful staff and we had a visit from Jordan to service my husband’s scooter. A lovely, helpful, knowledgable chap who it was a pleasure to deal with and think it was well worth paying extra to have the service at home. Hi Luggie, Apologies for the delay in contacting you but I have been too busy scooting around the Greater Manchester area on my new Luggie. It is simply wonderful. I spent six hours in the trafford centre on wed. 2nd of August and then a further seven hours in Fleetwood and freeport on the 3rd. Never in my life could I have dreamed of going around such vast areas in the past on foot. I just wouldn’t have been able to. After an hour of walking anywhere, I usually decide that is enough and head for home. I’m in total awe of my Luggie. I cannot thank you enough for all your help and assistance via our email, and by the way, your directions where perfect! The other people I want to say a Very Big Thank you to are Paul and Peter. Paul could not have done more to demonstrate how the Luggie works and folds up. He was so patient and respectful in all my dealings with him. I hope that I noted all his advice and so far, so good, I’m getting there. Please convey my sincere thanks to him from me. Equally, Peter was so helpful in getting the bits and pieces to show me and I would like to thank him sincerely for all his advice and help.. Luggie onboard Azura cruise ship
The Luggie (and its owner) performed beautifully onboard Azura. We were constantly being stopped by other passengers asking what it was and where did we get it. It was transported on and off board with all our other luggage and was waiting for us when we reached our cabin. It was certainly an excellent buy

THE DAY AFTER I WROTE THE BAD REVIEW I GOT THE T&C AND YES IT WAS EXPAND IN THEM...... BUT ON OCTOBER 3RD I RECEIVED A CALL FROM 1 OF THE MANGERS I THINK SHE WAS, AND SHE WAS VERY APOLOGETIC SAY HOW DISAPPOINTED THEY WERE AT GETTING A BAD REVIEW AND THEY STRIVE TO MAINTAIN GOOD RELATION WITH THEIR CUSTOMERS, DID I WANT MY SCOOTER FIXED. I SAID YES AS IT WAS 3MONTHS OLD AND A LOT OF MONEY NOT TO BE WORKING RIGHT AFTER 3MONTH. WELL THEY WOULD SEND ME A BOX, WHICH ARRIVED THE THURSDAY OF THAT WEEK, I WAS TO SEND IT BACK TO THEM FOR IT TO BE FIXED, AND THEN IT WOULD SENT BACK TO ME WHEN FIXED. FREE OF CHARGE IT WOULDN'T AND DIDN'T COST ME A PENNY. IT IS NOW RUNNING ME ABOUT LIKE IT WAS MADE TO DO. THANK YOU VERY MUCH LUGGIE FOR SORTING OUT MY SCOOTER...
