Nothing but good things to say about Luke

In June 2025, I was in a very in between place. My Mom had just passed away and a complication of her decline was a lack of movement and self care later in her life. I was eating OK-ish. I found I enjoyed Olympic-style lifting at my local cross fit but couldn't setting into weight work that I knew I should be doing as I age myself. The long and short is, I was motivated to make a change and had identified some things that could work but had no idea how to put together a coherent plan.

By chance, I was watching a video of a woodworking YouTuber my spouse follows... one day after not seeing this woodworker for a while I noticed he had become really fit and healthy looking. Did some research and found out that he was a client of Luke's. Contacted Luke who responded immediately.

It was just brilliant serendipity. Luke and I chatted for about an hour at our first meeting. He asked me about my goals, my habits, what was working and what wasn't working. He had thoughtful suggestions about things I could remedy immediately (don't bring snack temptations into the house at all!) and things that I would have to buy into for long term change. He spoke about building sustainable routines and habits.

He created a 10-week weight program and explained carefully how the method of progressive overloading would provide benefits to my strength and fitness. The program built on my interested in heavy lifting and supported my cardio of choice which is running. We are now on Phase 5 and through each phase he has solicited ideas about what type of exercises I'd like to do and what equipment I had to do them.

Along with this we did weekly check-ins where Luke offered suggestions on my meals choices, monitored my macros and ensure that I was building that sustainable routine.

At first, the obvious change was weight loss, but as we progressed through the months I started to see significant changes in my body - I had shoulder and back muscles! Triceps! Who knew?!

My running performance improved - I set a PR for a 5K. My average mile times for runs has been decreasing while feeling like I am making less effort.

But the biggest thing is this... one day I noticed that I felt good in my body. I felt good moving. I felt fluid and capable and strong. I felt like I could push myself. I notice this a lot now and I notice that I never feel bad unless there is some really crazy external factor like a 10-hour car ride. Even then, I feel better more quickly.

Yes, I had to do the work and I had to make the commitment to myself. But all along - through the active and now into the maintenance phase - I had a partner in Luke. When I need a boost he gives it to me. When I have a question he provides a thoughtful answer. He respects and trusts me and if ever something isn't working we make modifications that do.

If you are thinking about engaging Luke in your health and fitness journey you simply must reach out. I would encourage you to spend a few minutes before your first call thinking about your goals, limits and resources and then go for it. You will improve your mind, body and spirit in ways you never expected.

My experience working with Luke has been life changing

My experience working with Luke has been life-changing. I did the work, and stuck with it, but I couldn't and wouldn't have been able to stay continuously committed without the accountability, the advice, the guidance, and the occasional challenge!

I found myself stuck in a cycle of feeling badly about myself, knowing I needed to do something about it, doing what I thought was "healthy" when it came to diet and exercise for a week or two and then falling right back into my old ways. I would always have a weekend away, business travel, or something that I would use as an excuse. Until Luke helped me reconsider it all entirely. Working with Luke has never been a 'diet' and when people ask me how I've managed to lose 35lbs they think there's some magic "don't eat bread" response but the answer is, I've changed my habits, made goals, and stuck to them. I needed the mindset shift and Luke has stuck by me through both the periods of rapid weight loss and the frustrating plateaus, constantly encouraging me, allowing me to be human, and recognizing the hard work and results I should be proud of.

If you're looking for a lifestyle change, in a sustainable way, Luke and his team are just that. You have to do the work, there isn't a magic solution but Luke's style was a game-changer for me and I feel confident I'll take these skills with me for years to come.

Best investment I've ever made

I genuinely cannot say enough great things about this program — it has changed my life and my family's life.

What really says everything about Luke and Phil is that they were checking in on me before I was even a client. I was dealing with an injury and they genuinely reached out to see how I was doing — no pitch, no agenda, just real human care. That's the kind of people they are, and that's exactly why I knew I was in the right hands when I finally signed up.

Luke is flat out one of the best. His energy, dedication, and the way he holds you accountable while still making the process feel manageable is something special. And Phil — Phil is just an incredible human being. His personality, his positivity, and the way he genuinely invests in the people around him goes so far beyond coaching. He made every interaction feel like it mattered, because to him, it did. I feel like I started with a coach and ended with a friend

Together these two worked with me through my injurie, were always easy to reach with any questions or concerns, and never once made me feel like just another client.

And the proof is at home — my two little girls now mimic my workouts. They see the change in me and they want to be part of it. That's not just a fitness transformation, that's a family transformation.

The mindset Luke and Phil helped me build is mine for life, and now it's becoming part of my family's story too. If you're thinking about it, just do it. You won't regret it. 1 percent better each day!

I had a great experience with Luke Goulden Online Coaching—Alfie in particular was excellent. They gave me exactly what I needed at the time: clear guidance, accountability, and a practical approach that helped me make real progress with my fitness and weight loss. I put on muscle, got stronger, leaned out, and relearned how to work out the right way. The program is structured, effective, and easy to stick to if you commit to it. I’m stepping away for now only because I’ve built a solid routine, but I’d absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to get on track and see results.

An online coaching program that actually delivers

A lot of online coaching programs make a lot of promises and say “you get out of it what you put into” as a cop out. My experience with this program was the opposite. All I needed was a plan to follow and a method I could believe in and Luke and his team delivered beyond my expectations. All I did was stick the meal plan, kept my calories and macros in line and consistently followed the workouts prescribed and achieved better results than I hoped for faster than expected. I hoped to lose 30 pounds over 6 months. I got there in 3. I’m stronger than I’ve been in 15 years, I’m eating healthier than I ever have because they helped me understand nutrition. This was a simple plan that required hard work and most of all consistency. The plan was easier to follow than I expected and Luke and Alfie were a huge support along the way. This program was worth every penny and I really can’t put a value on all that I’ve learned and achieved with their help.

I’ve had a really positive experience working with Luke and his team. What stood out right away was how practical and realistic their approach is—they don’t just focus on what you eat, but how you live your day-to-day life.
They helped me navigate social events with confidence, which used to be a big challenge. Instead of feeling restricted, I learned how to make balanced choices and still enjoy myself. And when slip-ups happen (because they do), they showed me how to refocus quickly and get back on track without guilt.
One thing I really appreciated is their perspective on food. Unlike other programs that label foods as strictly “good” or “bad,” Luke’s team teaches moderation. You learn that some foods are better for you than others, but enjoying less nutritious options occasionally is completely okay—it’s all about balance and not overdoing it.
They also emphasized patience and consistency. That mindset shift was huge for me. Instead of chasing quick results, I focused on building habits, trusting that the results would come—and they did.
Beyond nutrition, they provided helpful tips for managing stress, which made a big difference in staying consistent and feeling in control.
Bottom line: I’ve tried other programs before, and the weight always came back. What makes this different is the focus on sustainable habits—not just food, but staying consistent with steps and workouts.
I’ve now been off the program for two months, and my weight has stayed stable. I’m still keeping up with my steps and workouts, and it feels like a lifestyle now rather than something temporary.

Amazing Results!

I started going it alone for dieting when I had got scanned and was at ~37% body fat and 190 lbs. Even though I increased my walking it wasn't really working. I would lose 10 lbs but go back up. After a few months i started looking for a personal trainer. I checked on many different ones and even met with a few before deciding to partner up with Luke and his team. He explained everything to me in clear details and what I can expect from him and his team and what they expected of me if I was serious about going through this journey.

With them I dropped almost 50 pounds — from 180-190 lbs down to 136 — training just 4 days a week, getting my daily steps in (10,000 minimum) and working on portion control in my meals. That’s not a crash diet or a brutal, unsustainable routine. That’s a plan that was built around my life, not the other way around.

What immediately set this apart was how data-driven everything was. Alfie built my plan from the ground up using evidence-based principles.

Nutrition wasn’t an afterthought either. We set up a clear macro and calorie framework on a proper onboarding call right at the start. Instead of some random “eat less, move more” advice, I had a structured, research-backed approach to protein targets, caloric management, and how to adjust over time. It’s the kind of guidance that actually teaches you why, so you can make smart decisions on your own. I never ate anything that I didn't like just to hit macro goals.

The weekly Monday check-ins were a game changer. Every week I’d submit my check-in and get real, actionable feedback. When life got in the way — and it always does — they didn’t shame me or push me harder than I could handle. They met me where I was, helped me recalibrate, and got me back on track at my own pace. They have a coaching app that kept everything organized — training, tracking, nutrition — all in one place.

What I appreciated most is that they genuinely respect your time and your life. This isn’t a one-size-fits-all gym bro program. The training split was designed around the number of sessions I could realistically recover from and fit into my week. They understand that real people have families, jobs, and off days — and they coach accordingly.

If you’re a busy person who’s tired of vague advice and wants a coach who will actually build something around your schedule, check in consistently, and back everything with real science — look no further. Alfie and Luke are the real deal, and I genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough.

Having worked with them for this time, I now feel confident going forward that I have the knowledge, discipline, and drive to continue applying the principles they taught me to maintain a healthier lifestyle going forward.

Consistency, accountability, 1% more!


I’ve been training with Phil for about 8 months now, and honestly, it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and mindset in years.
Before working with him, I had been trying to figure out strength training and weight loss on my own for over a decade—lots of trial and error, inconsistent progress, plateaus, and honestly a lot of frustration. Life changing program

When I set out on this journey my primary goal was to lose 30 pounds and change how I was living my life. As of a few days ago I hit that goal. I thought that was going to be the end of my journey but in fact it’s just the start. I can’t say enough good things about this program and coaches. Absolutely brilliant coach,

Luke and Alfie both care a lot about the process not the results which is critical to long term success. Everyday there is guidance on making the small positive choices that lead to long term success.

And success is an understatement, in a few short months I lost a good 36 pounds without ever feeling like I was being forced to do anything extraordinary. Just eating the right things and not missing on daily minimums. The process is everything, when you trust it the results come.

Life changing

Life changing. That’s the only way that I can accurately describe working with Luke.

I had a tremendous amount of weight to lose, and Luke’s approach from the very beginning has been consistent. Focusing on driving change and providing a formula that is sustainable for the rest of my life. At the start of working together, the biggest thing I needed was the accountability he provided; knowing that someone is going to be checking in on me and keeping me on track helped me get through the hardest part, the first months of change. Change is hard, especially when it’s built upon nearly a decade of bad habits. Eventually we got through that and built the discipline to stay consistent even when things got hard.

In the past when I lost weight, it was always an extreme diet and workout plan, and I inevitably gained it all back. Nothing Luke taught me or had me do was extreme. What he set me up with is a formula that I can carry forward into the rest of my life. I haven’t worked with Luke for a few months now and this review is long overdue. However, I think that’s a good thing, because I can say that I easily kept up with what I learned from him and changes we made. I’ve lost more weight and continue to feel better physically and mentally each week. I know that my workouts will evolve over time and I’ll have good days and bad days, but I also know that if I keep true to what I learned, I’ll stay healthy and in-shape the rest of my life.

If you’re on the fence about reaching out to Luke, just do it. Working with Luke is one of the best things that’s ever happened in my life.

Best online personal training!

I cannot recommend Luke and his team enough! Joining the program has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for my health and fitness. From the start, since being teamed up with Phil as my trainer, he took the time to understand my goals, current fitness level, and lifestyle, and created a program that was both challenging and realistic. I was hesitant to see how “online training” would work but the support, communication, and attention to detail have been outstanding.

The workouts are well-structured, easy to follow, and tailored specifically to me. My trainer Phil is always available to answer questions, would adjust my program if I was traveling out of town, and would always provide encouragement when needed.

It's honestly a no-brainer

Absolutely fantastic group and program!

I’m 45 years old and in the best shape of my life, better than I was back in high school playing soccer and baseball. That said, even with Luke and Philip’s incredible coaching and guidance, your results ultimately depend on your own effort and commitment to their program.

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with this team. From my very first conversation with Luke about my goals to my initial call with Philip, my personal coach, everything has been absolutely top-notch. Every Zoom session (they’re in London, and I’m in Texas) radiates support, genuine care for my aspirations, and unwavering encouragement.
The daily messages between Philip and me keep me accountable. I know I need to track everything because Philip will notice if I don’t. The customized meal plan and workouts are tailored perfectly to my goals and abilities. Everything about this group and the system they’ve built is fantastic.

Yes, it’s not exactly “cheap,” but you truly get what you pay for, and then some. I am absolutely happy with the money I am spending for this investment in my health and future. In the end, it is still way cheaper than being overweight and unhealthy and all of the medical expenses tec. that comes with that. In my opinion, it’s absolutely worth the investment. Highly recommend!
