Disappointing experience

The parking system at Lulworth Estate is frustrating and feels like a money trap. The pricing for parking is ridiculous. I wouldn't go back.

Lulworth cove dissapointing.

Thought it would be nice to go to Lulworth Cove for a couple of hours and have some lunch. Got there and found that we could park for 1 hour at £3.10 or up to 4 hours for £12.40!! (Nothing in between!)
Didn't bother with lunch or the heritage centre as we had no desire to be ripped off any further and departed before our hour was up..
Totally dissapointed and cannot reccomend in any respect.

Lulworth Cove Rip Off Car Parking Charges

Popped down to Lulworth Cove for some food and sea air, spent just over an hour upon returning to the car you have to "pay on exit" After typing in my registration number I had to pay £12.40
This is absolutely day light robbery, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves charging this much!
Will not be returning.....£12.40 for 1hr 15mins of parking! Shameful!!

car parking at lulworth cove for an hour in the evening

car parking at lulworth cove for an hour in the evening
car parking at lulworth cove is the biggest rip off ive seen, we went there on the way back from weymouth in the early evening, we were just gonna pop down to the beach for an hour before we traveled back, we went to pay for parking, but couldnt believe we couldnt just pay for an hour, this was 7 pm, the parking metre said 5 pounds for minimum of 4 hours, we were not paying that just for an hour, before we drove back out we got chatting to an elderly couple, they were upset, they said they had been to durdle door for the day, paid for parking all day, only to find there parking ticket at durdle door, a quarter of a mile away under the same council did not cover them for parking at lulworth cove, this is disgusting, durdle door and lulworth cove are ripping people of with the parking. they must be raking it in on the backs of drivers.

As a wedding photographer

As a wedding photographer, I had the opportunity to capture a beautiful wedding at Lulworth Estate. The venue is truly breathtaking and set in the heart of Dorset, surrounded by 20 square miles of rolling countryside, with 5 miles of World Heritage Jurassic Coast including the world-famous Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. The estate is home to the stunning 17th-century Lulworth Castle, which was built to entertain royalty and is set in extensive rolling parkland with sea views.

The castle provides a truly iconic setting for a wedding, offering a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony, which was held in the private chapel located in the grounds. The castle and its surroundings were the perfect setting for capturing beautiful and romantic portraits of the bride and groom. The sea views and rolling parkland made for stunning wedding photos that the couple will cherish for a lifetime.

Lulworth Estate is truly a one-of-a-kind venue, offering an exceptional combination of natural beauty, historical elegance, and breathtaking scenery. I highly recommend it for any couple looking for a truly unforgettable and magical wedding venue.

Kindest regards
The Kensington Photographer
