Good morning crap wood

Good morning, We bought 60 sq feet of 5inch plank by 3/4 in white oak hardwood grade 2 ..I am soo disgusted with what we had when we go it home..3 bundles, which almost half of the wood was between 2 ft and 4 ft with just a few 6-7 foot pieces wow soo terrible wood supposed to be 5 inch wide a bunch of it was like 1/16 wider or 1/16 narrower Our floor installer had to rip up like 4 different rows because of the big cracks between the rows.. alot of the pieces were damaged were the tounge and grooves were so disappointed the say they have the best warranty in the business wrong! wrote emails to head qts, no results actually called the store to complain, got now where got a phone call from a rep told her all the problems we were having with the hardwood she said she wouldn't help us at all with no kind of refund so we lost money with over 4 hours of labor to redo the bad wood rows we are just not happy at all we bought 365 feet of the same wood to begin our install from Missouri hard wood didn't have one problem with any of the wood now because of the 6o sq feet we bought for LL which is junk, we have to buy more hardwood to finish the job we have pics and videos that the floor install took with A WALK THROUGH to show the 365 ft of beautifully laid floor and the horrible install of the junk wood, with the big cracks between the rows.. We just want a refund of the $ 368 bucks we spend on 60 sq foot of junk wood terrible place to do business with

Lumber Liquidators LL Flooring…

Lumber Liquidators LL Flooring Installation Review - Buyer Beware
On November 27th, 2022, we had Lumber Liquidators install new flooring in our home. Following their instructions, we brought the flooring inside to acclimate on October 16th, 2022, and removed all furniture from the rooms on October 28th, 2022, in preparation for the floating floor installation. Unfortunately, just one year later, we are experiencing significant problems with the flooring.
The floor has separated in multiple areas, and in one spot, it has chipped and broken apart quite severely. We had a contractor assess the damage, and the repair cost for just one of the damaged areas is estimated to be thousands of dollars.
I have absolutely no confidence in the installers Lumber Liquidators uses. Despite the clear issues, Lumber Liquidators has evaded responsibility, passing the blame onto others. I was told they are not liable for the problems.
Based on this experience, I do not recommend using Lumber Liquidators for flooring installation. Furthermore, given their evasive behavior and unwillingness to take ownership of the poor installation, I would not even purchase flooring from them again. It's clear they do not adequately oversee the quality of work performed by their contracted installers.
This experience is a prime example of "buyer beware." Everything may seem fine initially, but be prepared for potential problems down the road, especially after the one-year mark. Our floor looked great until it started falling apart. I strongly advise potential customers to consider other options.

Do NOT Order Flooring from Lumber Liquidators

DO NOT ORDER FLOORING HERE.
1. Missed Deadlines: The promised delivery dates were missed four times.
2. Terrible Quality: The flooring delivered was badly damaged—completely unusable. It was warped, broken, and not straight. It appears the warehouse storage conditions were poor, and some batches were even dated 2021 (!!!).
3. No Return or Exchange: The company refuses to take the flooring back or exchange it, citing “technical” reasons for their denial.

Once again, this company delivered extremely poor-quality flooring and refuses to exchange it. I didn’t even ask for a refund—just an exchange. They’re breaking their own return policy and showing a completely uncooperative attitude.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE.

we had our flooring installed in July

we had our flooring installed in July. All went well except for 1 lvp at a high traffic area. was assured it would get taken care of despite the
bankruptcy. Well I've been patient. Called all over the place this morning. Got sent to different stores. referred to letters sent on the bankruptcy. so basically got the runaround. Too complicated to make heads or tails out of any paperwork. So much for the lifetime warranties.

No warranty that will do anyone any good. Put the floors in during covid shut downs in 2020 and tried a warranty about a year later when the flooring was coming apart and cracking and they claimed it was performing up to their standards. Now in 2024 the whole thing has to be replaced and the company has no solution. It appears we were sold the wrong underlayment and this caused the thin planks to give and Crack. Now we have a huge replacement and cost to figure out. These floors are sold as is. Buyer beware. They do not stand by their products.

Had an estimate done on a 150 sf laminate install

Had an estimate done for my friend on a small (150 sf) room, laminate floor.
The installation estimate came in super high. They nickel and dimed him on the install, for example charged $15 to trim single every door jamb, 400 LBS of leveling compound (excessive), the list goes on and on. Plus, of course a pretty high "per SQ" install charge, which should have included a lot of the additional charges. Total charge for the room would have been about $3700. I bought hardwood flooring from them before, which I installed myself, and the price was pretty reasonable then, but this recent install estimate experience was awful.

“LL Flooring in Cherry Hill

“LL Flooring in Cherry Hill, NJ gave me one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I advised the store manager Brendan that I was looking for tight, low pile, carpet that would show minimal footprints. I saw a sample and though it was small, the manager assured me it was what I was looking for. The installation of the carpet was excellent l, but unfortunately once we started to move about in the room it ended up showing even more footprints than the original one I was replacing. I explained my disappointment and that it was not what I was looking for. I called corporate for a replacement and they advised it was up to the individual store to resolve. I have since placed several calls and messages into the Cherry Hill store and now I am being ignored. I would not recommend using this company because there words obviously mean nothing and they don’t stand by their customer when they are the ones that made the mistake. “-Ilene A.

Horrible laminate flooring. We have had it for a few years and it’s splitting and separating at the seems. Customer service is a joke. Won’t warranty it because they don’t warranty cracking.

If we could give 0 stars we would

If we could give 0 stars we would, the installers did not level our floor, it's very uneven & it automatically voids the manufacturer warranty. Planks were flaring up the day they installed & ignored my concerns, were coming apart the next day & months later even worse.
Filed a claim the day after install, did everything they asked us to, sending them photos with the product number & literally everything they asked for. Had the contractor manager come do an inspection & he confirmed this was all things that needed replaced & it would get taken care of. He told us claims would get in touch with us within 7 days & it's been 4 months!
We have tried calling them for the last 4 months & I would want a full refund & go to a reputable local flooring company, then let them do work in our house again. We got our entire floor done, seamless room to room in a mobile home. I will never recommend this company to anyone & wish we would have went with local companies who were busier but did say they were going to level the floor.

Good Product, Some Damaged/Used/Repackaged BOARDS IN NEW PACKAGING

We did like their selection of product. It came in on time and went together very well. We installed the rigid vinyl. The price was good and my installer liked working with it. It went together very easy.
Here is the problem: some of the boxes contained product which seems to have been used and returned AND REPACKAGED AT THE POINT OF MANUFACTURE. The boxes weren't taped shut, they were factory-glued. Some of the boards had paint on them. Others had damage consistent with prior use. I encourage people that use LL Flooring to order higher than 10% over needed as we did, maybe more like 20%. That way if you run into problems you can close that box and return without any delays or confusion. Once the contractor's on-site it's no time to be dealing with this kind of problem. We are going to be waiting two weeks now to be able to finish, meanwhile we will be trying not to damage the edges of the exposed flooring.
Again, we liked the product very much, and the store is not the issue here, just give yourself more than 10% over leeway.

I went online and ordered a small…

I went online and ordered a small amount of 3/4” x 3” unfinished white oak flooring for a repair. The order was only 13 square ft. Of which I payed and was to pick up at the Lakewood,CA store. Soon after I was contacted by the Lakewood Store who stated that they do not know how much product will be sent and that I would be responsible for purchasing the entire amount that was sent at pick up. Reluctantly I agreed as they said it was typically around 16-18sq Ft. The delivery came and it was 26 sq Ft…and it was stained/damaged and I was notified as the loaded it into my vehicle. The manager said that she was contacting the district manager on Monday to see about a discount for the damaged product and would call me about it afterwards (I picked up on Saturday). She gave me all she could which was about $8.00 off and the DM could authorize a more “reasonable” discount. She has yet to call three weeks later…and company Customer Service (which is not customer oriented said I needed to go through the store…which makes me wonder why this department even exists if they can’t help a customer)! Anyway, no call and no attempts to make anything right. It is crazy how companies do not care about their product, service, and customers anymore….

Cheap, brittle seams. Flooring shrinks. Warranty only covers the surface. Customer support doesn’t care. Run away from them.

I wish I would have read the reviews of LL Flooring before buying. It was the most horrible product I have ever installed. I’m not a flooring expert, but I’ve put down enough floors to know how to do it right. I had two friends that ARE flooring experts come look, and they couldn’t believe what they saw: Each piece of flooring basically shrunk and I ended up with small gaps between most of the pieces. The seams were extremely difficult to put together, and would routinely chip and crack during install. For the rest of the house I switch to a product from American Flooring instead, and it came out perfectly - not one issue. Easy to work with and beautiful.

LL Flooring just seems cheap right out of the box. The seams are brittle. It obviously doesn’t acclimatize, even after a week.

I opened a warranty request, but they told me that I obviously hadn’t read the warranty, which only covers SURFACE scratching. Wow. $2,000 wasted. I told them that I would leave a bad review on every site I could find and they really didn’t seem to care. I think they’re just a sinking ship and they know it.

Vinyl Floors not holding up

We shopped around for waterproof vinyl for most of our downstairs flooring for a remodel. We found LLFlooring to be the best price for what we were looking for. We made sure to even our floors our and bought all the underpayment from LL Flooring also. Installed as directed leaving plenty of room around the walls for give. Well 2 year into it the tabs on the vinyl are breaking off in our most high traffic areas. The vinyl on top started peeling off. I called to file a claim and sent In pictures. They said they would investigate but then told me they would not cover the cracking and breaking of the tabs because we installed it and they don’t warranty that. We will not be buying from them again.

Do not buy flooring from lumber…

Do not buy flooring from lumber liquidators. The flooring is splitting, cracking, and chipping. We bought underlayment for extra installation. We have sent pictures and emailed, but they are not going to honor their warranty. If you deal with Megan, you know she is not going to do anything for you. Poor customer service and poor quality flooring. I wish I would of read the reviews before going to this company.

DO NOT PURCHASE FLOORING FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATORS.

DO NOT PURCHASE FLOORING FROM LUMBER LIQUIDATORS.

I purchased the DH XD New Haven Harbor Oak 12mm flooring on 1/2/21. Along with the flooring purchase, we bought as recommended the Underlayment 6 mil Poly Sheeting and the Bella Platinum Underlayment. The flooring in starting to delaminate and curl up at all the joints. Called customer service, sent photos and answered all their questions in which I received case number 00140824. This case pretty much ended there, only to have no help on the matter. Made several phone calls, only to be placed on hold for excessive amounts of time, then only to be disconnected. Several emails sent requesting a follow up only to be ignored. The last phone call was placed today, before writing this review only to be told they would escalate to a supervisor. The agent returned to the line to tell me once again that management was in a meeting, and they would call me back. I won't hold my breath! Do not waist your money on their products. I am forced after only 2 years to purchase a new floor and you can be assured it will not be any of their products.

Don't waste your money at LL Flooring

We purchased nearly 1100sqft of flooring that went in several rooms and hallways. Our contractor said it was the worst floor he had ever installed. That should have been a clue. In LESS THAN A MONTH there were scratches all over the floor. It took several attempts to file a complaint. We were told that pads must go under every piece of furniture and that damage due to pets was not included in the warranty. Massive scratches appeared in about 2 1/2 weeks under my rocking chair. I was so upset I flipped over my rocker to check what had caused this. Nothing. Everyplace there was any furniture that could even be bumped scratched. In less than a month there was scratches from our dogs paws (she is groomed regularly) everywhere. Liquid got on the floor and was cleaned up in about 3 minutes. It raised the edges. When we did get someone they said the only thing they could do was send in 2 boxes of flooring to be tested. We had some leftover so we did. Of course there was nothing wrong with it. Pay the little bit extra to purchase from Lowes or Home Depot. I was later told that they had so many lawsuits as Lumber Liquidators they had to change their name to LL Flooring. Not sure if that is true or not.

The two installers were professional

The two installers were professional. There was damage to door molding - probably while moving furniture. Somehow they broke a wheel on the office chair. After moving a metal filing cabinet the second drawer won't open. Called store and was told "I don't know how they could break a filing cabinet". I purchased a new cabinet, and all I wanted was to have it installed. The cabinet was somehow damaged, but store personnel can't believe a filing cabinet can be damaged. Now I have to pay for installation plus the new cabinet. Bummer!

very bad experience in my life

I bought my hardwood and till the delivery no big issue.
The guy that installed the flooring that was supposed to be installed in 2 days took 14 days. He did not show up to the appointment and every day a different excuse, very unpolite and very dirty. He wasted a lot of hardwood totaling 4 boxes. On top of that, he did don't give me back my key and I need to call his boss it back, the worse experience ever.
