Awful. Does not work and messes up your clothes.

Again as a consumer falling for over hyped, over priced products; I really wanted to believe this product was going work. I really battled with the cost and whether to take a chance that the beaming, honest, homespun antics of the faces in the ads were what they were. Instead of buying online decided to purchase a Lume 72 hour deodorant from Walmart. For 15 dollars I expected success. But after showering and applying within hours on warm summer day my pits stank. Seems almost to be worse than normal. Too bad this product didn't work. I will not purchase again. I really liked the personality of the woman who developed this in her ads. She was so believable.

I’ve used Lume for a couple of years. Most of them with the original cream in Tangerine, Unscented and Powder. They’re all ok. Not the most pleasant scents off the tube but they disappear after they dry on the skin after an hour or so. Effective and didn’t leave a rash or stained my clothes. I switched to spray and tried tangerine. Spray not great - broke after the 10th press and continued spraying. Also didn’t last more than a day in efficacy (not 72 hours). I branched out on scent - peony rose, and used the smooth solid form. Oh. My. Goodness. TERRIBLE SMELL. Neither rose nor peony nor flowery. Smelled like BO to me. And it didn’t last more than 6 hours. Ugh. Avoid. I may give the unscented cream another chance. Otherwise, I’m done with Lume.

The spray deodorant that I paid 15.00 was so difficult to open that I ended up breaking nozzle leaving product useless I will not be purchasing again very disappointed . Even tried to look up on line how to get it to spray and it seems to be a problem for many users . Definitely a bad experience

I actually ended up with a rash from the spray

GREAT 5 years ago. Totally cr@p now. It's thinned out, runny, doesn't rub in, and doesn't work.

I have to say the customer service is top notch but after supposedly shipping my order twice and not receiving it either timeI was told I would be refunded. All I am told is that there is a problem with shipping, website shows a shipping label created but no product shipped both times. I guess Lume is not for me.

So upset usually love lume products. Bought this product in a stray from Walmart. I don’t have the receipt, so I can’t return it spent 16. And it sprays like water drips all over the floor. Hate this deodorant in spray. I want a new one but so expensive to replace it. I am so frustrated. Don’t buy lume spray!!!!

Purchased the invisible spray, after 3 uses the spout became clogged. Unable to get the product to work again. Love the product but not the packaging. 15 dollars down the drain. Money down the drain!

I got the sample package of stick, spray, and creme. I applied them to underarms, under breasts, and private area.

It might last for 72 hours like the commercial says, BUT IT SMELLS LIKE URINE.

WASTE OF MONEY. Mine is in the trash.

The “unscented” stick deodorant smells horrible!! I wish I would have opened and smelled it at the store. Would have never bought it.

I’ve used Lume off and on for about a year. It worked well for the first 6-8mo. or longer, but recently I purchased a newer scent, the toasted coconut. The scent was okay, not bad but didn’t love it… but I was shocked at how horrible I smelled after just 3hrs. of wearing that. Like I was embarrassed, and had just left a doctors appointment!!! It was the cream/rub on kind so idk if that made a difference bc the one I have been using the last few weeks was the stick. Although inside used the cream in the past and it worked okay, so maybe it is just this particular scent? I spent $15 though to throw the entire thing away the next day, and have to go purchase another deodorant. Not happy about that. I would like to give only two stars, but I don’t want to be unfair bc there are other scents/forms that did do decent for me, but for al the hype and the price, I feel like it should do a better job. Also I want to add, it does nothing to help control sweat.

I have used Lume deodorant for several years and have loved it. I felt it lived up to it's hype. I used the deodorant stick and found it wonderful. The body cream also. Then... I ordered the spray deodorant and got a SEVERE allergic reaction that I have been dealing with for weeks!! I think I will not use it again, too afraid. Still suffering..

I spent almost 15.00 on a stick of deodorant. It states it lasts 72 hours, so I thought,,, GREAT!
I bought the toasted coconut and it smells terrible but I used it anyway.
As far as I'm concerned, the 72 hour period that is on the stick, is completely false advertising. It lasts maybe 3 hours in a cool environment, and 15 mins in the sun. I'm a person that doesn't need deodorant but since summers get so hot I thought it would be a good idea. Just in case.
It also burns when you use it, underarms, down below, everywhere.
I believe I totally got stiffed for the money. Did I say the smell is not good at all? I would research more and find a different brand for whoever is looking at these kinds of deodorants. BTW, I did detoxify before using, so there's that.

I have ordered twice directly from Lume. The first time I purchased the starter pack. The wipes had an odd smell so I didn't use. The cream deodorant worked ok although I have no idea if it would last 72 hours since I would never ever go that long without showering. The second time I ordered the spray and have only used it a few times and this morning it wouldn't stop spaying and then just started leaking all over my carpet as I tried to get to the bathroom. I have decided it is way to expensive to order again and will be trying other brands I can get at the store.

Lume deodorant leaves white streaks on my clothes every time I wear it. It burns like crazy if I've recently shaved my underarms. Also, the toasted coconut scent smells so terrible, I about gag when I put it on. I wanted to try and finish using it since it cost almost 5x as much as my old deodorant, but I just can't. I hate it

I bought 5 different products from lume, 72 hrs is a joke your luck to get 6. 1 if my spray cans started leaking. Yesterday that can blew it's top and splattered in my face and all down the front of me, now that can is empty. Very expensive juke.

I purchased a sampler pack of Lume that included the full body spray and the stick deodorant. I selected the Fresh powder scent for both of those. There was also a pack of cucumber wipes and a sample of tangerine body wash.
The Lume scent Fresh Powder was simply awful. It had an underlying chemical smell and was similar to the smell you find in public bathrooms or chemical toilet. It was cloying and clung to clothes. The stick deodorant left a white streak on a black tshirt but it was the overall smell that was intolerable. There appear to be a number of chemicals in the body spray that are not best for skin and the spray itself is heavy. I can’t really speak to how well these products last in terms of odor protection because I washed off the scent as quickly as I could. The Fresh Powder scent should be avoided but frankly, I don’t want to smell like fruit so I guess if you have to try this, go for unscented.

I absolutely LOVE LUME deodorants. I have struggled with staying fresh smelling and not sweating profusely my entire life. And as a female this is pretty important. I've tried pretty much every deodorant available on the pharmacy and health food store shelf. All give promises of 24 and 48 hours and don't last more than an hour for me. Five minutes out in the sun and I'm hot, wet and smelly. It's gross and embarrassing. So I tried Lume, expecting the same disappointment, but being out a lot more money. I was surprised how well it worked!! I was sold!! I've been using Lume now for over a year and found that the solid ones work best for me. I love the cucumber and coconut scents!! Recently I ordered a few deodorants and wasn't paying close attention and realized that shipping of $20 on that order, almost half the price of my order, was charged. In past my orders hadn't been charged shipping due to being high enough to cover free shipping I suppose. I tried to cancel the order, as I'm in Canada and that made shipping almost $30 here. They couldn't cancel the order, but provided amazing customer service and a solution that worked to my favor and satisfaction in another way. It was done quickly, kindly and without unpleasant argument or comments as you sometimes get with other companies. The rep I dealt with, Sabrina, was pleasant, professional and helpful. I couldn't compliment her more!!

So, if you want a quality product, aluminum free (which is healthier for your body) and hold up to its promise, Lume is it!! (No, I have not been paid for my review. I'm truly impressed with the product and the recent customer service I received.)

I about it isn't cheap, but nothing good ever is!

This product sucks. I ordered the clean tangerine deodorant stick and the lavender sage smooth cream. Both products give me a very funky stinky smell when I sweat. It usually smells like mold, and today I smelled like mosquito spray. It also makes me itch and gives me a rash. I am never buying this expensive product again and will be going back to my regular deodorant.
