I have still not received an item I ordered on 7th December. An apologetic email has been received but as far as I can see it's 24th December and it has still to leave China (I thought this was a Dutch company). Absolutely appalled, but still hoping this item will be delivered as better late than never.

I usually don't review things within the first day or two, because depending on the item, I often feel differently after some time or usage of a product. This is a rare exception though, where every single time I get to witness it, I'm super aware of just how great it is. My kitchen light has space for and was rocking 4 regular 50W halogen bulbs which despite all being able to be angled as desired, never really managed to light up the kitchen quite how I expected. They also couldn't be angled once they'd been on for more than 30 seconds or so, because the movable metal housings would be far too hot to grip. I popped the first one out and plopped one of these in, pressed the switch, it worked, couldn't hear anything funny, turned it off and repeated the process with the other 3. By the last one, just having it on for a few seconds per test, the halogen was uncomfortably warm. Even though it was daylight, the amount of light compared to before was obvious, I was actually excited for the evening to come so that I could test them properly. The difference is night and day, the kitchen is now so much brighter, and yet so much easier on the eye. The color is really creamy, very much like daylight, they seem to disperse the light much more evenly, it's not obvious that there are four spotlights at all, other than how much of a shadow I noticed I cast in the right position. I realized that I needed to adjust two of them in order not to be in the way of the light when at the hob or the sink, and despite them being on for some 20 minutes at this point, were only mildly warm, so I was easily able to move the one pointing at the hob to the sink and vice versa and problem solved, no shadows where I don't want. Every subsequent use is immediately met with a smile, the difference is so big. The whole kitchen appears to be fully lit, it shines out enough that I don't need to turn on the dining room light when using condiments on my meal which I'll take into the living room and eat on the couch, and I really had no idea just how much difference a bulb could make. 200W down to just under 20W, more light, and more pleasing light. Super impressed, really happy, better for the planet and my electricity bill, I can't recommend these highly enough. So much nicer than the old halogens I was using previously, literally no downsides. I'll come report if something changes, but until then, 10 stars.
