Warning: ⚠️ hidden import fees
I ordered a bag from Lupo Barcelona (first time order) and was never informed of any additional costs at checkout. Days after purchasing, I received an email from their shipping partner Amphora Logistics demanding $236.60 in import fees — an additional 33% on top of my purchase price.
When I contacted customer service, I received a dismissive response with no apology, no resolution, and no acknowledgment that disclosing a 33% fee upfront is a basic consumer right.
I’m returning the bag. Buyer beware — know what you’re actually paying before you check out.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, duties and taxes are not included in the purchase price and may apply upon import. As stated in our FAQ and Shipping & Returns sections, customers are responsible for any duties or taxes imposed by the destination country. The amount of any duties or taxes that may apply is determined by the destination country and its customs regulations.
We understand that receiving an additional payment request after placing an order can be frustrating, particularly when the amount is significant. We appreciate your feedback regarding the visibility of this information and will take it into consideration.
