Regina at Lush in Manchester Arndale today was exceptionally lovely and really helpful. Even though it was her first shift, as I found out later she was really knowledgeable and super friendly. Awesom... See more

***I will NEVER buy from the LUSH store…
***I will NEVER buy from the LUSH store again!!!*** Yesterday my 17 year old son left the dairy farm he works at and hit Woodland Mall to buy his girlfriend a birthday present. He was wearing his work jeans, work hat that stated the farm name and had a picture of a cow on it and he had his work boots on that had been washed off. He entered the store and a clerk came up to him and told him he would have to leave. He was a bit confused so he asked why. They said they didn't support farmers and stood against cruelty to animals and refused to sell to him. My son explained to her how this farm works, how we go above and beyond to care and nurture our animals. They still took their stance that all farms are evil. My son just looked at her and said 'I farm you eat!' And left.
🐄 So for all you LUSH employees I hope you don't drink milk, soy or almond milk, eat ice cream, cheese, yogurt, eggs, cereal, bread, pasta, steak, chicken or pork, eat your vegetables or put your creamer in your coffee at Starbucks. EVERYTHING here is provided by a farmer. They work hard to provide for you AND your customers which keep you in business.
***And maybe you don't realize that the ingredients YOU USE (soy yogurt and soy milk) in your products are available because of FARMERS!!!***
I supported your business because you didn't test on animals. We treat our animals with love and respect. But I refuse to support you when you can't support those help make your business profitable. This world needs farmers more than it needs bath bombs. 🐄🌱🌻
The new website is hideous
The new website is hideous, I keep trying to place orders and just give up because it's impossible to navigate!
Also the insult that was lord of misrule this year has just confirmed to me that lush really don't care about their loyal customer base. It's starting to feel so soulless and disconnected from the customers.
Money hungry and not as ethical as they make out.
Used to love them. Now the stores are run by money hungry social climbers with an mentally unhealthy business style. Not to mention the marketing team have no clue what they are doing.
Amazing time at our Lincoln store
Amazing time at our Lincoln store. The Manager Vicky was great and really got the kids involved with the bath bomb demo. My kids didn't want to leave the store. All the staff so friendly.
Love Lush's buffy
Love Lush's buffy, salt spray & shampoo and would not use anything else now. Aromaco deodorant is also awesome, as no packaging!
What has happened to Lush
What has happened to Lush? The shop local to us is ok though the staff vary from lovely to really very unfriendly. I think charging for a paper bag is a bit much. But, the website!!! One can no longer ask for bath bombs to be bagged. I tried to live chat. It took them over 10 mins to even answer. I tried to phone...nope no luck there. There are so many other animal friendly options now I'm not sure why I've kept going with Lush.
Fantastic customer service
love this place
5star customer service
Have to say how impressed I am with lush customer service.. I bought a product from Wimbledon branch not realising that it would pass use by date three weeks later. This was a birthday present and would have been very close to use by date when the recipient received it.
After a brief call to Emma T in customer services a new product with a longer shelf life has been posted out.
Well done Emma T.
Sad demise of a once great store
What the hell happened to this company? Years ago Lush was the cool shop on the high street you could smell from 100 feet away. They felt ahead of their time. An edgy and outspoken brand with a great range of toiletries with friendly staff. They felt ahead of the times with their cruelty and packaging free products.
Twenty years later and they have seriously lost their way and lost a great deal of core customers too. Corporate greed and arrogance comes to mind. Their products have become so expensive they no longer feel value for money. Considering the basic list of cheap ingredients the mark up on something like a bath bomb must be eye watering (how do you justofy £30 for 1 litre of Snow Fairy body wash???). Their ingredients list reads like an old candy bar full of e numbers. Bright dyes which stained my bath definitely weren't sourced from food grade colourants. Yes 'safe synthetics' sounds more paletable to the average consumer than skin irritating additives , but they are still chemical nasties and far from 'natural' and the amount of plastic has increased ten fold (yes it's recyclable, but the objective should be to reduce usage not increase recycling?). As for the staff, are sales that bad I have to be pestered the minute I walk into a store?
So after a year of not using, I decided the other week to place an online order only to find the website has been redesigned and has the most unser friendly interface I've seen in years! To boot, the UK team seem to have arrogantly left social media (Facebook) in a move that has further alienated them because they want to 'stop talking and start listening' to whom exactly? Clearly not their customers. Then with the pandemic, instead of developing customer relations they discontinue some of their most iconic and I assume popular products (one being rock star soap) and so the core line of bath bombs, soaps and bubble bars have dwindled to a small and uninspiring range.
Fantastic staff and store
I popped into Lush Bournemouth this afternoon this was my first ever visit to any Lush store. I was greeted by the manager she was very bubbley and positive. She passed me onto A member of staff called Alexandra who helped me she was very knowledgeable, funny, caring, upbeat, honest and empathetic. I explained what I wanted help with and nothing was to much trouble for her. She when we'll beyond customer service I expect and exceeded my expectations. She even gave me one of the items I was looking at as a 'Ramdon act of kindness' I was so touched it was just the little boost I needed today. I can't wait to try all the products I bought. Great service and staff in the Bournemouth store.

WONDERFUL HELPFUL STAFF
First visit to the store at Cribbs Csuseway Bristol. Could not have wished for more helpful pleasant staff. You certainly went above and beyond to help me with my hair problems. Thank you so much will be visiting again soon
Best customer service
It’s the 2nd time I’ve been into Lush in Bournemouth. Both times the staff have been amazing. Thank you to Scarlet who served us today. You were amazing and kind and went above and beyond.
Fantastic advice & service
Brilliant staff
A couple of weeks ago my friend & I visited the Birmingham Lush store. The staff were all very friendly, particularly Kuli who was very helpful. The product I was after is no longer available but an alternative was suggested which I purchased. I visit the Lush store in Birmingham every time I have a trip there.
Lush New Zealand supports Activists
Lush New Zealand supports Activists
I’m pleased to read you support human rights. The developers of the Marina in this case are also human and have rights.
They went through the appropriate courts in order to get approval for this development where all your other concerns were addressed.
The protesters, and now you through your support of them, have decided that they don’t agree with the findings of the courts and decided to take the law into their own hands and reverse the lawful decisions of those courts.
That is lawlessness and anarchy.
Effectively you have thrown your support behind another disaffected group with too much time on their hands, most of whom are not even residents of Waiheke nor Maori.
May I suggest that in future you direct your charitable urges to more worthy causes than this.
Lush supports dubious political activists
I applaud the Lush philosophy of cosmetics without cruelty. However I find I am often allergic to something in the products. What really bothers me though is their support of dubious political activism. I don’t believe the company is transparent in this matter and certainly doesn’t do due diligence on the organisations they financially support. Is there a list of people/organisations who receive funding from Lush? I’d like to know where my money is going.
Great customer service at the Arndale store
Went to the Manchester store in the Arndale centre yesterday. Had a look around for bathbombs and bubblebars. I liked the smell of one of the showerbombs but wanted a bathbomb/bubblebar version. A polite person gave me more information and helped me choose a suitable dupe for the showerbomb, as well as gave me lots of information and guidance on usage and ingredients and benefits of the bombs/bars. I chose the lemon bubble bar in the end!
