Luxplus is an online store that offers discounts on thousands of products for customers who choose to shop at member prices. When an order is placed using the member prices, a Luxplus membership is automatically created for the account. The membership includes a 14-day free trial, after which it renews at 9.95 EUR per month. Customers can always choose between the member price and the regular price when shopping.

To make sure this information is clear, the membership details are shown several times during the purchase process:

- Next to each product

- In the shopping cart

- In the membership terms and conditions (which must be accepted before completing the purchase)

- In the order confirmation sent after the purchase

I can also see that you saved money by shopping at the member price and that you received free shipping on your order. Without the membership, the total cost of the products would have been higher than the membership fee 🙏

Unexpected subscription charge. Unclear signup process

I purchased two products from Luxplus and only later discovered that I had been automatically enrolled into a paid monthly subscription without clearly realizing it during checkout. The moment I noticed the unexpected charge, I canceled the membership immediately.

I contacted customer support to request a simple refund for the subscription fee, but they declined, even though I had no intention of joining any membership and did not use any benefits. The lack of transparency around the subscription and the refusal to issue a refund for a charge I didn’t knowingly agree to weas disappointing.

Luxplus could greatly improve by making the membership enrollment much clearer during checkout and by handling situations like this with more customer-friendly policies.

Don't trust this site they are fraud scammers they will empty your bank balance without your consent Without you will be knowing about it they send you auto generated messages when u ask them about there business id and address they will not provide you so be aware of this scam I m filing complaint against them on consumer court.

“Charged without my consent disappointing experience.

Very disappointing experience.
I only ordered some perfumes and paid for them, but Luxplus automatically signed me up for a paid membership without my clear consent. Money was charged through Klarna without proper notice. This feels misleading and unfair.

Lack of clarity and honesty. They deceive customers to extort money. Not to mention the quality of the "perfume" purchased. It has ZERO longevity, it's as good as water.
This company is not an official reseller, I had confirmation of this by contacting a well-known fashion and perfume company. This means they sell......WHAT⁉️
Absolutely avoid‼️

Below is the message received on July 21, 2025, at 11:57 AM from the company that owns the brand of the "perfume" purchased. The email was also forwarded to luxplus on July 21, 2025, at 12:28 PM.

Thank you for contacting Parfums Christian Dior. We sincerely regret the experience you are facing with your product.
We take this opportunity to remind you that our products are distributed through an exclusive network of distributors and authorised websites. In this case, Luxplus.fi is not one of our authorized retailers.
Unfortunately, there are parallel markets in operation that occasionally prove difficult to dismantle. Christian Dior Parfums will under no circumstances assume responsibility for counterfeit products. It is therefore important that customers are cautious when making purchases from unauthorised Dior distributors.
We sincerely regret the breach of trust that you have experienced. Nevertheless, we must inform you that we are currently unable to return your product as it has been escalated to our Market Security Department for a detailed investigation.

Then you will automatically be created as a member. First 14 days free. Then 9,95 eur/month until you choose to cancel your subscription.

If you do not want to be a member, you can choose to buy your items at Normaalihinta (Normal Price). In that case, you will not be added a membership in the payment process.

You can terminate your membership at anytime by contacting us via email at asiakaspalvelu@luxplus.fi or by canceling yourself from your own Luxplus account. Canceling will be effective at the end of the current membership period. The only exception is during first 24 hours of membership, within which your subscription is locked due to technical reasons, After the first 24 hours, you can terminate your subscription however you wish to. Please note, that if you have an ongoing order, your membership can not be canceled until the order has been sent. This usually happens within 24 hours. Be careful with hidden cost

I purchased a nail UV lamp via Luxplus. The power is much weaker than expected and I cannot use it. I asked for a return but they responded that only unopened products can be returned. Almost got scammed by this website

Almost got scammed by this website. Luckily I read the reviews saying that you get signed up to a paid subscription secretly on any purchase. BE CAREFUL! You can only unsubscribe 24 hours after “subscribing”, it feels as if they plan to distract you long enough that you forget about cancelling.

Be careful guys

I don't understand how it can be worth the money for the CEO of this company to know they scam thousands of people.

Your whole business plan is built upon being as sneaky as possible so people fall into the trap of subscribing to your monthly 9,95eur fee, and you know it! You claim to be a fair company and that customers have "misunderstood" the concept. Damn, hope you enjoy stealing money from people
