Do not buy from this company

Do not buy from this company! I bought a leather sofa set through Debenhams and 1 of the sofas starter to bubble and peel after 4 months! Debenhams are useless and after numerous emails (no contact number) finally told me today that this company have refused to resolve as they decided it’s normal wear and tear! It’s a 2 seater sofa that’s rarely used compared to the 3 seater and is a mess! They told me I need to pay for an independent report from a specific company! Absolutely disgusting!

Fraud, Forgery, ignorance now court

Bought this through Debenhams. Who you’d think would be reputable right???
But it absolutely wasn’t.
Between these and the delivery company Furdeco they keep blaming each other for everything.
But when the sofas were delivered the boxes were in so bad condition I refused to sign for the delivery. Because despite the delivery driver saying “your signing to say you received it” I knew he lied. I was signing to say I’d received it in good condition it wasn’t.
I’m now left with damaged goods and because the forged my signature “because they couldn’t move to the next delivery” they said they put a line through it but it’s clear they didn’t.
I’ve emailed back and forth.
The only thing I have to say is that because of this situation Luxury Life’s furniture is no longer on Debenhams when searching.
Data breaches are £10,000 to £100,000 per incident.
I’m having to litigate.

The situation described may involve forgery or fraud by false representation as well as a possible data protection issue, where an inaccurate “signature” was recorded. It is advisable to retain all relevant evidence (such as photos of damaged boxes, emails, and the delivery note), and submit a formal written complaint to both the supplier and the delivery company. The complaint should request a written explanation and outcome; deletion or correction of the false signature and associated records (UK GDPR, rectification/erasure); information on staff retraining and process improvements; and consideration of compensation for any time or distress incurred. Additionally, you may wish to make a Subject Access Request for all data relating to the delivery (including a copy of the proof of delivery, driver notes, GPS logs, internal communication, and investigation documentation) and specify a 14-day period for response. If the issue remains unresolved, escalation to the company is recommended, as well as reporting the matter to Action Fraud and considering a small claim for data protection or consumer rights breaches if the record is not amended or compensation offered. Even if your sofas are satisfactory, it is important to address and correct the forged proof of delivery to protect your rights.
This isn’t going to be “blowed off” which Furdeco the delivery company whose Facebook reviews are diabolical.

Poorly made products, poor customer service

Stay well away. Products are not worth the money. I purchased a luxury life Dino sofa 3 months ago - within that time one frame has completely dropped, the sofa creaks and the front wooden panel inside the pleather covering has snapped. No reply yet from luxury life about my request for a full refund. I purchased my product from Debenhams but I see a number of other companies offer this exact product. Advertising a high quality "hardwood frame", it may be hardwood but it's incredibly thin, and held in using just staples, which stick out and hurt you if you are not careful. I thought this product at £450 for two sofas was too good to be true, and it was.

I have a horrible feeling I have been scammed.
One email to apologise and tell me it’s coming next week!!
No phone calls back.
Phone goes straight to Giffgaff.
Hoping I can get a refund but not holding my breath.

Beyond Poor

AVOID AVOID AVOID
Ordered a chest of drawers we followed the instructions with a fine tooth comb when it came to assembly.the top drawers did not align everything else was fine. Contacted them about this and all they kept doing was sending the same BS response about how they're manufactured by a CNC machine and therefore there is no issue and is an assembly fault, It clearly isn't and just because it's manufactured by this so called machine does not guarantee perfection. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!
They say they have a less than 1% return rate // (complaint rate I guess )) - Which I struggle to believe,,well unfortunately this has obviously fell into that category but they still won't accept responsibility
They are flimsy and CHEAP!
And the more you use it, the more it falls apart,, Obviously I guess this is due to the unit being faulty to begin with
They are unreasonable and will NOT accept fault absolutely disgusting

I brought a corner sofa through Debenhams and was delivered the wrong item and I have had hell getting this returned. Luckily I used my credit card as if I didn't I don't think I would get my money back! Would vote no stars if I could and Debenhams have been just as useless.

Great Value

Got the Carlton 6 Drawer Cabinet and it’s exactly what I needed. Loads of space, smooth drawers, and the glossy finish makes it look really sharp in the bedroom. Feels sturdy and wasn’t hard to put together. Practical and stylish. Definitely recommended.

Total scam!

Total scam!! Don't buy anything from this "Luxury Life Furniture" company. The phone number does not work and the customer service is non existent. I have been trying to get a refund for months but have been completely ignored. They have finally responded to my girlfriends review from a 2024 a few days ago. They will say "unauthorised individuals" are impersonating them as an excuse which is not true. Who would want to impersonate these guys? I shall also be complaining to Debenhams to get these guys removed off their platform. Daniel Finlay of Debenhams shall be made aware of this. They have horrible reviews all over Debenhams. Judging by their reviews they are just a bunch of scammers.
