Random seat selection, flight cancelation and no money back
Vueling forces customers to pay extra for a seat otherwise it does not let you check in. They say you do not have to pay if you choose random seat selection. Then they say there are no more random seats so you need to pay extra. Its the most shameless way of scamming in public iI have ever experienced.
Update: they canceled the flight after first letting everyone wait for five hours. The money I payed for the ticket is still not returned. DO NOT FLY WITH THIS AIRLINE.

Can’t online check in, which makes the check-in line extremely long. No any signals to guide. After one-hour waiting and asking the staff, we found that the line is for flight cancellation. Many guys had similar issue, we were all confused!!!!!!
Our flight was 18:30 but after 19:30 we were informed the cancellation. More than one hour later, we were guided to the Vueling desk and the queue WAS EXTREMELY LONG AGAIN!
Two hours later, we were arranged to a really bad and awful hotel. The lady at the desk informed us that we can live in the hotel until our new flight but actually, we can only live one night. NO ONE INFORM US ABOUT IT!!!! OUR LUGGAGE WAS MISSING!!!!
We stayed in the airport for more than SEVEN HOURS that day and there was miscommunication at each step.
Additionally, because some of us can’t check in online, we run the risk of not having a seat. It is ridiculous! THEY SHOULD SELL AS MANY SEATS AS THEY HAVE!!!!!!!!!!

Everything was perfect except for noisy jet engine on two occasions
I’ve only recently heard of, or flown with, Vueling twice, once from Lisbon to Barcelona, and the second time from Barcelona to Gatwick. The ticket information, booking process was ok and the flight itself was very pleasant, the cabin crew were friendly, and I quite liked the way disembarking the plane was done in rows of 5, to stop the mad rush you get on nearly all flights. It’s good they came up with a system that makes that better. Now to the one minus point.
It may be that the plane I took for my first trip was the exact same plane on the second trip a few days later, but on the first trip, while waiting on the steps to the front door, we had a chance to listen to the Port (Left) Jet Engine. It sounded like a diesel engine, clattering away. An inspector was looking around it for several minutes, putting his hand on the central spinning cone (to see if there’s any vibration I guess), but he then proceeded to pass us on the steps with an angry look on his face, to possibly inform the pilot of something related to this engine ? (I’ve never seen an inspector do that before) I’ve flown probably 60 flights over the years and have never heard a jet engine sound as rough as that in my life. I thought surely we’ll be put on a different plane ? But we weren’t, they made the flight and we all lived to tell the tale.
My second flight with Vueling several days later (5/8/23), was also a fairly pleasant process, regarding boarding (this time via a tunnel, so couldn’t hear the engine from outside), in flight experience and disembarking. However this time I was sat next to the front of the port engine, and that too sounded rougher than any engine I ever heard. If I can upload a video here I will.
If I book a flight again, I would try to avoid vueling, purely because I’m not sure (in my mind at least) that there’s enough concern
regarding the servicing of the plane. I may be wrong, and these noises I’ve never heard before are perfectly normal, but I’d rather choose a different airline on that limited experience.

Why are you being so mean to your customers? On May 16, 2023, my son and his wife flew from Malaga to Barcelona with a company Vueling to transfer to a flight VY 7844. Your company's flight from Malaga didn't leave on time, causing your employees in Barcelona to close the check-in desk early without even checking that there were still passengers flying from Barcelona to Tel-Aviv. As I found out, the plane was waiting for my son and his wife and left without them.
It is night now, the airport is closed, and no one can provide my son and his wife with a proper bed for the night.
What kind of bestial attitude is this in people in the 21st century? Would you like your son/daughter to be treated this way?

After Vueling canceled our direct flight to Malaga, we finally get our tickets rebooked BUT now with an intermediate landing and a 9 hour trip. The problem is that now it is not possible to buy additional hand luggage unless €50 is paid for both flights, where it was possible to pay €12.5 for the original flight. Tried to get in touch with Vueling on phone go facebook (fb can't help but refers to calling) but this is impossible, as I find it reasonable to bring hand luggage at 12% - there is a non-existent service in this company - CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY IN ANY WAY
Horrific company
I have recently had my flight cancelled by vueling which I booked through a local well known travel agents. After booking I then went ahead and booked seats and also purchased extra luggage.i have had an absolute nightmare attempting to contact and speak to anyone at this company regarding a refund. Their website is shambolic and my booking was unaccessible as all my details suddenly became nonexistent. Eventually after two and a half days I managed to speak with a agent who stated they had no record of my booking and she abruptly hung up on me. I can not stress enough how bad this company is and feel the public need to know what difficulties they may encounter when they need to resolve any issues. Do not book with vueling airlines, its not worth the stress!!
Two weeks on. Just spoke with another vueling agent who informed me that the seats and extra luggage I paid for are not reimbursable even though they cancelled the flights. They must be making a fortune extorting money from thousands of people. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS AIRLINE!!
Loops and bots only
I missed my second flight because the first one (also operated by vueling) was late. It happens. However, there was no communication on their side of what to do next, it is impossible to reach a real person on the customer support. The customer support page in their website is an infuriating loop that gave no information for my case. Within the airport it was very hard to find someone who represented them, since it was someone from another airline who doubled for vueling. 7 months after, I'm still talking with f****g bots to get my refund. It does not matter how much more expensive the alternative is, I will never fly again with them, I rather walk.
Still no compensation after 4 Months…
It is now 4 months from our involuntary bumping of our flight from Cardiff to Palma De Mallorca in June and we are still waiting for our compensation. We arrived in Palma 2 days later. It is impossible to speak to anyone at all and we have even tried Barcellona which is on Vuelings website when I got through to them they say they do not deal with them. Avoid at all costs. They lost my luggage after making me pay for my carry on at the gate. Also they hire thieves for employees. The employees will steal your stuff and then refuse to give back your luggage!!!

Appalling
Appalling. Flight delayed initially 2 hours from Barcelona to Gatwick. We understand that weather can disrupt flights but the board announced a gate number so we went there, to wait for several hours with no staff present, no announcements, no information. Eventually, at about midnight, the flight number just disappeared from the board. No water or food, and all restaurants had closed by then, There were also 2 children in wheelchairs- no help offered to their families. Received an email the following day to say it had been cancelled- which obviously we had worked out by then. Flight refunded but impossible after that to contact the airline to complain- the website didn't recognise the booking details, and I rung customer services and they just said the case was closed.

I was told to go to the counter and speak with someone from Vueling. After more than 2 hours waiting for someone, the girl at the counter said she couldn't help. I had to wait for an email. They've now put me on a flight on Monday 22nd and it is not even a direct flight to London! My colleagues at work rang their customer service and a well trained man kept repeating that he couldnt help and had to be dealt with at the airport. Useless! Now my options are to fly on Monday or get my money back. What I am supposed to do with the meeting I've missed in London this morning and the accommodation I have paid for? There is no compensation for last minute cancellations, no help, no staff that know how to deal with these situations at the airport. It is utterly disappointing. I am a frequent flyer as I work between Bilbao and London, and I am never flying with Vueling again.

The information on Vueling website and boarding passes is in complete contrast with check-in policy in Rome: we had a 7 am flight, boarding pass said 45 minutes before departure, we got there at 6.05, 55 minutes before and were refused boarding - check-in person said flight had closed 1 hour before. Refused any communication with gate staff or supervisor.
We suspect there was in fact an overbooking issue.
We had to buy 2 new tickets for 276 Euro. Have written to Vueling to protest and request refund, but have had NO RESPONSE whatsoever.

Quick to take your money, will not talk to you after. No phone, no on-line chat even with a computer! Our agent booked a flight in error with them 7 months ago and they will not let you cancel. Web site takes you round in circles. Lost all our money.
DON´T EXPECT ANY HELP FROM VUELING
We booked flights from Granada to Barcelona & from Barcelona to Manchester on the 19th of March. Vueling canceled the Barcelona to Manchester link & offered either a flight on the next day or a refund, but nothing for the connecting flight from Granada to Barcelona. We tried to contact Vueling by telephone & email, but it´s impossible. We complained via Resolver on numerous occasions over two months, but Vueling failed to respond. We made Vueling aware that we idealy wanted earlier flights but as a last resort a total refund. No response. Use Vueling as a last resort, if anything goes wrong, Vueling will not help, in fact, don´t use Vueling at all. Look at the amount of negative reports, that speaks volumes.

Awful company to try and get through to, bordering on impossible. If you change a huge part of someone's holiday you should make yourselves easily contactable. A shambles of a company, and would never use again with this situation
