Absolutely phenomenal business. My prints are always crisp and delivered timely. They go above and beyond to please. I’ve been using Maake for over 6 years and have never been displeased.

Excellent service!

Excellent service! Customer services were so helpful in getting my fabric printed as an express production for a very short deadline. The print quality was great and just what I needed. Relying on a third party to complete an urgent job was a concern, but Maake turned the job around quickly and had it delivered to me in no time. Couldn't be happier and will definitely use again.

Consistently good experiences…

I've had consistently good experiences with this company. The customer service is good and the turnarounds are excellent.

I would love if they'd look into using reactive printing to achieve really deep blacks on cotton, but as long as you know the limitations of digital printing you'll end up happy with the result.

Overall not great.

Overall, my order was printed and sent out in less than 2 days, so timewise excellent. Print quality? Awful. I usually go with Contrado, but given how expensive they are becoming, even for just a sample, decided to give Maake a go... and afraid to say I will be sticking with Contrado as I know I'm paying for quality. The print is so faded and not even remotely close to the colours in my files, never been so disappointed to open a package... if it wasn't for the fact I've ordered a interlock jersey fabric with contrado, I'd wonder if it was the fabric choice, but theirs was vivid, clear and the colours where accurate.

Shipping prices are also weird. Why are you charging £3.60 for second class signed on a large letter when Tracked 24 is the same price??? Even tracked 48 which is what, £2.70? It makes no sense to not offer affordable options with end to end tracking. Seems I've been too spoiled with Contrado.

If I could rate separately.

Time taken- 4 stars.

Quality- 1 star.

Shipping options- 3 stars.

Dear Ronaai,

We have just signed up to this so apologies for the late response. We were not aware this was even here.

Thank you for your comments. We appreciate the time taken.

Firstly, the fabric you printed was an uncoated Cotton Interlock and it does mention this on the website, on its product page - and also that due to this, the colours will print much more muted. If you print any of our coated based fabrics - such as Organic Iris or Stretch Jersey, you will see significantly brighter colours that are truer to screen. Organic Interlock is a product we have now discontinued in either event. If you need some guidance for the best products, feel free to reach out and we can help.

Regarding the shipping cost, we always aim to give the best price we can to customers as we know it can often be difficult. We normally add a nominal charge of £0.10-0.15 to cover packaging - as you mention £3.60 for 2nd class Signed For shipping - the charge to us is £3.45. We will always try and be transparent on our charges and we also offer free collection from our Factory in London if you are local.

We are glad you liked the speed and service and do feel free to reach out if you need guidance on any future fabric products at support@maake.com.

Terrible service, eager to take money then can't deliver

Ordered some custom prints on fabric. They ran out of fabric part way through my design so included a handwritten note saying if I required a replacement to contact customer service. Obviously I needed the amount I ordered so contacted customer service who asked me a number of questions, had me send them photos of the short fabric, the handwritten note (as they said they didn't know who had written it) and despite this 2 weeks later I still haven't received my reprint, an apology or refund. Absolutely disgraceful

Dear Kerry,

Thank you for your email.

We apologise that you had an issue for this order.

As it was a while ago since you posted this, we have looked back in our communications history and it appears that we were temporarily out of stock of the base fabric - and we had notified of the shortage with a note in the order. You received 90 cm rather than 1m. You had spoken to our customer team on 3 separate occasions within the week subsequent to receiving the short fabric - with them apologising each time - I can also see that you were offered some replacement options but you understandably wanted to wait for the specific fabric to arrive and were informed it would be 2-3 weeks to arrive. After 2 weeks, you filed for a refund for the meter which we accepted and processed.

We would love to make this right for you and we do now have the fabric in stock so please do get in touch at info@maake.com
