Lovely staff. Carnaby St, Analise

Analise in the carnaby street store was amazing, so knowledgeable and took time to talk through and show me lots of different products. Nothing was to much trouble and she was just lovely. A credit to your brand. Thanks Analise x

Don’t use MAC in Bromley

In February, I had a makeup consultation in Bluewater which was amazing. I bought everything that was used so spent £350 and was happy. One of the products was an eyebrow pencil which worked really well but ran out a couple of weeks ago so I went a bought a new one from the Bromley store. This pencil broke this week so I went back to the Bromley store today to show them that it’s broken and to ask for help as it should last longer than 2 weeks, especially as it was £25! When I first got to the store, the first assistant I spoke to understood and empathised with my situation but explained that the manager had left so I needed to speak to someone else (I think her name was Waiva). When she came out to speak to me, her attitude was absolutely awful, she was rolling her eyes, huffing and puffing and eventually said she would call her manager. She came back out after speaking to her manager to say that this problem “is a you problem!” And then repeatedly said that I had broken the pencil so she wouldn’t be doing anything. That is one issue-MAC is a reputable company and I am astounded that they don’t have a process in place to support a customer with a fully product. The second issue is this assistants attitude. I cannot explain how awful she was-to roll your eyes, and huff and side-eye whilst dealing with a customer is just unbelievable. We wonder why the high street is dying…don’t employ people like this! And then the third issue is, you want to speak to someone at MAC to tell them about this issue and you can’t speak to anyone. I won’t be using MAC again-once I have finished these products I will be moving to another company. Do not go to MAC in Bromley!

WATFORD MAC AVOID , SHAMBOLIC

Entered Mac, looks like they’re having a Stock Take, products placed in plastic trays, have to rummage through to find what your looking for, Staff with wet wipes cleaning, total shambles not 1 member of staff looked pristine or their make up to the high standard expected by MAC , in fact the worst shopping experience in MAC I’ve ever had, totally unprofessional with a disinterested attitude, won’t be visiting this store or Watford again, sticking to WESTFIELD , with good customer service and attentive staff, MAC, Watford Store needs some customer service training as well as Dress Code( I’m a Regular customer but if Watford store had been my 1st time it would have been my last )

Awful Customer Servie

Terrible service, placed my order for the advent calendar, they took the money from my account and sent me the order confirmation, I kept chasing to see where my order was and each time they told me not to worry and that delivery can take a while, then after about 10 days I contacted customer services AGAIN only to be told that they had cancelled my order and would refund my money in the next 5-7 days. Terrible customer service. Now the advent calendar is sold out.

Love the eyeshadows

I only buy online from MAC so have no experience with in-store staff, but I'm very happy with the orders I have received. I love the eyeshadows, very good quality. I always pay for the next day delivery but they have a variety of options.

Always a good experience!

It's really sad to hear about other's customer service experiences. My nearest Mac store in Manchester have always had the friendliest ladies working there. The minute I walk in I'm greeted with a smile and asked if I need help, which is usually a yes considering it can be quite tricky finding everything myself as it's in a department store.
Always really chatty, two of the girls even recommended me handing in my CV to apply for a job there, which I ended up getting the email of the manager to do so immediately.
I don't think it's MAC as a company that do badly - sometimes it can be just the wrong people working for them.
Products themselves - I've never had anything bad recommended or bought anything I later regret. Some maybe weren't right for me exactly, but that's just personal preference more than anything.
Overall, I've always had an brilliant experience and I hope to be working there soon!

Rude Staff In Store

The staff in my local Mac store couldn't act more disinterested if they tried. You literally have to hang around in the hope one of them will stop applying their own makeup to help you make a purchase.

Clay like makeup cheap and chatty

I went for a makeup lesson with mac just fancied a change to my usual make up and read all the top reviews raving how good it is. To secure a lesson I had to pay £30 (never had to do this with any other make up counter) but you get it back, well to spend against products. Had my make up lesson. Make up consultant was a pushy type selling the products. Foundation smelt cheap and felt clay like on the skin. I bought 2 eyeshadows and 2 lipsticks. Regretted my purchase immediately. Was ripped off got charged an extra £5 for the woman to put the eyeshadows in a palette, all she said was she would put them in a palette for me as it's much better. Very sneaky and unbelievably cheeky. No mention that you pay extra for the palette. I should have took them straight back but being a new mum I'm very pushed for time. Make up is of poor quality smells so cheap and looks like horrible. Cakey just avoid. And if you do like the makeup avoid the pushy sales consultants (they must be on commission)
