Replacement SSD in 27" iMac
I needed to replace my hard drive with an SSD. Macupgrades are always my first choice. Type in your serial number and everything you need is there. The right drive, the accessories, advice if you need and video tutorials. Replacing the drive in an iMac is a bit tricky but the videos are really helpful. My Mac is now much faster with its shiny new SSD.

Fabulous Service on two Macs.
Fabulous Service on two Macs.
I have just had two computers repaired or upgraded by MacUpgrades.
1) My son’s MacBook Pro had died months ago and a so called local expert said it had water damage on the motherboard and was scrap. MacUpgrades received this laptop 3pm on Saturday and returned it by 9am The following Tuesday completely repaired. It was liquid damage on the lcd screen which they soldered and fix the problem. My son his thrilled.
2) My 2017 21.5” iMac has been very slow for years. Michael at MacUpgrades suggested replacing the existing hard drive with a Samsung Evo 870 SSD 1TB and replacing the 8gb memory card with a 16gb kit.
They received the iMac at 11am this Tuesday and delivered it back to my home upgraded as promised by 9 am today. I have just tested it and is now lightening fast. I am totally thrilled and cannot recommend MacUpgrades enough. Fabulous service and a credit to the computer industry,
