Disgusted with customer service
Saturday in mid November I put in an order for a present for a friend. The USA website says your order will be put in the mail for delivery within two to three days of ordering. I thought great. Well that’s a lie. By the Wednesday after ordering, I still had not received any email saying the bag was being delivered. I try their phone number and just kept getting a busy signal. So I email them. They email me back and tell me there is a delay in their orders and it may be some time before I receive my order. They say if you need a rush to please let them know. This was a gift and had I know it would have been weeks before delivery, I never would have purchased from them. So I reply letting them know I do need a rush.
I was told they would do their best on getting it out soon. Unlike most companies, this company charges your credit card at time of ordering. Not at time it leaves their hands to be delivered. They already have your money so they don’t care how long it takes. More than once I told them if you can’t get my package to me soon, just refund me. A week and half later they finally mail out my bag with I think was overnight delivery. I finally received the bag the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Unfortunately I don’t like the bag. It was more of an orange red, not a blue tone red. Also the bag looked more bulky that the picture. It was a good quality bag and someone else would possibly like it. But I didn’t and I was not about to give it as a gift.
So it only gets worse. Website says free return for any reason within 60 days. They will give you a return label and they will pay for return delivery for full refund. Just email them. Bag has never been used. Still in perfect condition. That same day, Friday after Thanksgiving, I email them asking for a return label. I have emailed them about three times now and I have not received any return shipping label or even a reply. I’m disgusted at this point. I purchase items online all the time and I have never dealt with a company that has this bad of customer service. I’m being completely ignored and have a bag I don’t want. I want a refund! I don’t care it is Christmas season, it can’t take that much time to email me a shipping label. I’ll be contacting my credit card company soon. I’m so sick and tired of this company!
EDITING THIS: So close to a week and half later of emailing them and no response, I finally get a response. It’s in response to the email I send them letting them know I now have filed a complaint with my credit card company. They tell me that they didn’t get my other emails. So they got none of my emails asking for a refund, but all of a sudden they just happen to get the email saying I went to my credit card company. I’m suppose to believe that their system just started to work again. Unbelievable!
They say how sorry they are and that they will send me a free gift for my troubles. I don’t want a free gift from them!! They have their bag back. I finally received a refund. They email me asking to please update this review because they care about their customers.
On a side note, the one website with all the positive reviews, it is definitely invite by Made in Tuscany only. I tried to post a review and that website explained to me the process. So when someone is not happy, you won’t be seeing a review from them, I would imagine. Keep that in mind when you look at those reviews.
I don’t change my thoughts. Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT go with this company! You will only regret it. Why put yourself through the headache and drama that comes with this company, it’s so not worth it.
This had better be the end of this drama. If they keep contact me asking me to change this review, I’ll just keep reposting and letting you know how they won’t leave me alone. Last email was two days ago. That had better been the last one. I want drama over and end of story.
