Awful just awful.

I like others we ordered before Christmas and we still haven’t received the bag. Numerous emails and web chats have only resulted with more false information about delivery.

After asking for a refund, they blocked my email address, so can no longer email them.

Awful company please please don’t use, unless you want to loose your money.

Great experience with Made in Tuscany

My experience with 'made in tuscany' has been very good. I made a late order just before Christmas, the website clearly stated that I wouldn’t receive in time for Christmas. I followed up after Christmas, I received prompt reply and the Lisbona bag arrived within 2 days. I also received a refund on the postage, so I am grateful for that too.
My son loves his new weekend holdall. It is elegant, practical, roomy and the quality looks great. Thank you!

Beautiful product, great price!

I ordered my work case over a busy time for the company, Christmas and sale time. I also asked for a personalised initial to be added which I'm sure took some extra time. So, yes, there was a delay, as I had paid for next day delivery, but the company gave me really good feedback and kept in touch with updates. This is a small family firm which offers quite personalised service. The product is excellent, absolutely beautiful, and the price represented great value. So I would forgive them their backlog and try again!!!

Very concerned

I ordered a bag before Christmas and still waiting. I do get a response when I contact them but keep saying ready to be shipped. I have now confirmed that I wish to cancel and want a full refund. Hopefully they will read this and action my request.

Appalling customer service

I ordered my partners xmas present in early November. Kept being assured it would arrive in plenty of time for Xmas. It arrived a couple of days before Xmas and the colour was nothing like the online picture. This meant no main present for my partner to open on Xmas day. I asked for a returns slip to be sent to me (why not include this with the order) which took them days to email it to me. I sent the item back weeks ago and I’m still waiting for my refund. Appalling customer service

I ordered this bag as a gift trusting…

I ordered this bag as a gift trusting that the 3 -5 day delivery noted throughout the website would work out. I had more than 2 weeks before the birthday gift was needed so I wasn't worried. Big mistake.

I have emailed several times and only received one response which was to please be patient with them as they are a very small company. I also tried the chat function - also no response.

That doesn't fly with me - I also have a small company and my customers expect (and receive) quick responses and accurate shipping information. It's been weeks since I placed my order and nothing related to actually shipping my order so far.

Looks like I made a very bad decision to trust this company.

Afraid they’ve gone into liquidation

I am getting extremely worried that this company may have gone into liquidation and ceased trading. No response to my emails and the signs are not good. I did receive one response apologising that they were very busy and having problems with their suppliers in Italy but since then nothing. I am exposed to £350, very disappointing.

Mixed experience

Can't recommend them. I have to agree with other critical comments. I got the idea that they were responsible when they updated me with explanation of a 'high demand' problem and that, 'If you are able to accept a later delivery, we expect it to arrive by 10th January. We would also refund 10% off your order as a thank you.' I agreed to help but since then, nothing. No goods, no refund, no response to my email and no response to Facebook message. Getting concerned ....

UPDATE; product arrived. Pleased with the item and (eventually) the response by the company. Unfortunate that it took some complaints for everything the be resolved to my satisfaction.

Lengthy delays be aware

I just want to update my previous review. Today (16/01/20) the bag I ordered on 02/11/19 finally arrived. It is a beautiful bag and the company gave me a further 10% off the price and a bottle of leather cleaner in compensation for the lengthy delay. That being said all I ultimately wanted was some good customers service and the bag to be delivered in time for Christmas.

Taking everything into consideration I would not be happy to shop with this company again until they sorted out their delivery issues.

AVOID THIS COMPANY
I wish I’d read all these reviews before placing an order. I ordered a bag in October and after several emails have now been told it should get posted to me on the 27th December. I must admit I do not hold out much hope of this actually happening. I can only hope that when the bag finally turns up it is of a better quality than the customer service provided. This was my first and last time of using this company and I would recommend anyone considering it to look elsewhere.

Looking at website with a view to…

This review is for madeintuscany.co.uk Looking at website with a view to buying my partner a bag. The website has a large banner headline stating 15% discount and/or free gift with selected bags.

I looked at dozens of bags... Not a single one has a 15% discount or any free gift. Contacted via online chat to ask if there was a filter to narrow search fore these 'discounted' bags but was told they " can't do that because of the vast number of products"??? Suggesting the agent or company doesn't understand what filters are or how they work or that they think I am stupid...neither good.

Asked the agent to point me to a bag ( just one ) that had either a 15% discount OR a free gift with it. The agent couldn't tell me a single one!

Dishonest and/or misleading advertising is ILLEGAL. It's also incredibly infuriating

Save yourself the grief and just look elsewhere

Awful customer service. I ordered a bag which came a month later. Wasn’t to my liking as described (but honestly was a good product, just wasn’t what I was hoping for). I wanted to make a return, which took me two weeks of emailing just to get a reply to get the return address. Eventually it came, which also they made me pay for the shipping to them, which was $40 (1/4 the cost of the bag, their PAYPAL link saying return shipping on them was FALSE advertising). The bag returned and was received, but still no refund. I emailed several times and did the chat box. No refund. I ordered in Sept, it’s now mid December. Do not bother with this company. Just purchase your bag elsewhere. Plenty of great companies out there. Not this one.

Disgusted with customer service

Saturday in mid November I put in an order for a present for a friend. The USA website says your order will be put in the mail for delivery within two to three days of ordering. I thought great. Well that’s a lie. By the Wednesday after ordering, I still had not received any email saying the bag was being delivered. I try their phone number and just kept getting a busy signal. So I email them. They email me back and tell me there is a delay in their orders and it may be some time before I receive my order. They say if you need a rush to please let them know. This was a gift and had I know it would have been weeks before delivery, I never would have purchased from them. So I reply letting them know I do need a rush.

I was told they would do their best on getting it out soon. Unlike most companies, this company charges your credit card at time of ordering. Not at time it leaves their hands to be delivered. They already have your money so they don’t care how long it takes. More than once I told them if you can’t get my package to me soon, just refund me. A week and half later they finally mail out my bag with I think was overnight delivery. I finally received the bag the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Unfortunately I don’t like the bag. It was more of an orange red, not a blue tone red. Also the bag looked more bulky that the picture. It was a good quality bag and someone else would possibly like it. But I didn’t and I was not about to give it as a gift.

So it only gets worse. Website says free return for any reason within 60 days. They will give you a return label and they will pay for return delivery for full refund. Just email them. Bag has never been used. Still in perfect condition. That same day, Friday after Thanksgiving, I email them asking for a return label. I have emailed them about three times now and I have not received any return shipping label or even a reply. I’m disgusted at this point. I purchase items online all the time and I have never dealt with a company that has this bad of customer service. I’m being completely ignored and have a bag I don’t want. I want a refund! I don’t care it is Christmas season, it can’t take that much time to email me a shipping label. I’ll be contacting my credit card company soon. I’m so sick and tired of this company!

EDITING THIS: So close to a week and half later of emailing them and no response, I finally get a response. It’s in response to the email I send them letting them know I now have filed a complaint with my credit card company. They tell me that they didn’t get my other emails. So they got none of my emails asking for a refund, but all of a sudden they just happen to get the email saying I went to my credit card company. I’m suppose to believe that their system just started to work again. Unbelievable!

They say how sorry they are and that they will send me a free gift for my troubles. I don’t want a free gift from them!! They have their bag back. I finally received a refund. They email me asking to please update this review because they care about their customers.

On a side note, the one website with all the positive reviews, it is definitely invite by Made in Tuscany only. I tried to post a review and that website explained to me the process. So when someone is not happy, you won’t be seeing a review from them, I would imagine. Keep that in mind when you look at those reviews.

I don’t change my thoughts. Do yourself a huge favor and DO NOT go with this company! You will only regret it. Why put yourself through the headache and drama that comes with this company, it’s so not worth it.

This had better be the end of this drama. If they keep contact me asking me to change this review, I’ll just keep reposting and letting you know how they won’t leave me alone. Last email was two days ago. That had better been the last one. I want drama over and end of story.

Made in Tuscany is a SCAM company. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. Address in California are bogus. I made a purchase over 3 weeks ago. Sent emails and always told they would ship and expedite. FALSE!!!!! Will not reply to emails anymore.

Went with them because of an 'almost 5…

Went with them because of an 'almost 5 star rating on reviews.io'. Not sure how does one leave a review there, probably they only send links to happy clients. Well I'm not one of them. Had to wait for almost 2 months for the bag to arrive. Can't count how many emails I've sent and received with encouraging yet false promises that the bag's in the works and it will leave the warehouse the next day. I've dreaded the moment that when the bag arrives, it won't meet my expectations and I'll have to send it back. The bag itself was of decent quality, don't get me wrong, and probably worth the money. But, as someone has mentioned before, it looked different from the photos and had super shiny zips. The return process is pretty much the same. It's been 3 weeks now since I've posted it back (mind you their warehouse is in UK, not Italy) and I haven't yet received the refund. in our day and age it's unacceptable I'd advice you to spend your money elsewhere, save your nerves.

I have been waiting over six weeks for…

I have been waiting over six weeks for a bag I ordered. They were initially good and told me they were running a bit behind so my order would be late and they would upgrade my shipping, but had no estimated date. They have now stopped replying to my emails so I do wonder if the bag will ever show up?

EDIT: they replied to me following this review and I quickly received the bag which I had ordered. It is a really, really lovely bag so I am now much happier. I wish there had been better communication throughout the wait like there was shortly after placing the order

Worst customer service I've experienced…

Worst customer service I've experienced in a long time. This company wants to get your sales and have a nice website yet beyond that they do not treat you well.
The delivery times on the site are all a lie, they do not have the products in stock generally. The bag I ordered was showing as available for fast shipping but right after order I got the same message others have experienced. Delays with production etc. Bag finally arrived 3 weeks later after many emails / calls & false promises.
The bag seems good quality my only issue with it was that it is super shiny when you view it in real life. Unfortunately the photos on the site do not capture that. So I decided it wasn't for me and asked for a returns label.
Returns label took 2 weeks to be generated. Pretty ridiculous. Finally sent it back to them and heard nothing for 3 weeks. Emailed - no response. Called up and complained firmly and finally got the refund with an apologetic email suggesting I can have a generous discount if I ever order from them again. Needless to say this won't be happening!
Just bad experience all round.
Message to the owners - you need to get this better or your business will not succeed! Sort it out.

GREAT PRODUCTS, POOR SERVICE

We saw the range of leather bags, cases etc online and were impressed by the look and obvious quality. So we placed two orders on 19th September, one for a leather laptop type bag and another for a rucksack style bag.
The website indicated delivery would be within a few days. This was great because I wanted the goods, for my wife's birthday 26th September. The goods didn't arrive and despite reassurances from Made in Tuscany UK in Truro, the bags did not arrive. The laptop bag was then eventually dispatched from Livorno ( Italy) overnight and arrived the following day, after a months delay. However, when it arrived it did not have my wife's name engraved on it, as requested. We were due to go on holiday on 3rd October and on our way to the airport called Made in Tuscany UK and asked what was happening with the second bag. We were informed that it was on its way, we asked for it not to be delivered until our return on 12th October. When we got home, a soggy wet cardboard box was on our doorstep, anyone could have taken it, fortunately the bag was largely unaffected. But it shows a complete lack of attention to service. The products are superb in terms of quality, but oh what a shame the service support is non-existent.
