Made of Stories 

I really didn't want to leave a bad review but feel i've no other choice because the seller will not answer my messages.
I purchased 2 kimonos, size Large fits
perfectly and a XL that's smaller than the Large in fact it's more like a Small, I cant even get it to meet in the middle.
The seller initially responded saying
there was nothing they could do because the kimono was bought in the sale. I know under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 I am entitled to a refund or replacement “whether the goods are purchased at full price, in a
sale or with as discount voucher.” When I sent a message to ask them about this they decided to completely ignore it.
Made of Stories say they are
“Big advocates of positivity and acceptance" I see no sign of this the way they have dealt with me and to be quite frank 50% of their customers (Trustpilot) can’t be wrong… they have also had to go through a very unpleasant experience too.

Well when I wear my lovely orange and pink furry coat, it keeps me so warm, lots of compliments, and smiles, which in the current climate must be a bonus!

One star is sadly overrated. I ordered a top for a christmas party back in early November - thinking this was a small independent local brand . The alarm bells started when it didn't show up after two weeks. When it arrived it came in a bag clearly having been posted from China. The contents were cheap quality, thin fabric and not at all as shown on the website. I contacted the seller who told me it was on the website that things would come from China. So not the case!! I asked for a refund and waited days for a return label. I left a review which was never added to their site so a clear lack of transparency. Its now February and after returning the item back in December I am still waiting a refund.

Please do not buy from this brand. I spent £55 to buy a jumper and when I received it, I felt the quality did not match up to the price-I therefore returned it with honest feedback. I was not rude in any way whatsoever. I returned my item over a month ago and I have received no refund. My emails go unanswered. I have now had to raise a case with PayPal to get my money back as I am having no luck contacting them directly. I am so disappointed because I really wanted to invest in an independent brand but this experience has left me feeling distrustful of the others. The gaslighting displayed toward anyone who dare leave a negative review has also made me very uncomfortable-people are allowed to be honest about their experiences and accountability needs to be taken by the company without them calling buyers ‘toxic’.

I purchased 2 x long kimonos as a presents. They are both beautiful, sit very nicely on and sizing is spot on. However I was little disappointed that 1st kimono was 100% cotton (my bad I didn't read description) but 2nd kimono was made from polyester. Considering they were both same price, that's a bit disappointing. I much prefer it to be cotton or mix if cotton at least. Polyester can get very sweaty on skin. I would happily purchase again, but this time will read description.

The clothes I received were exactly like the picture.... I've read the 1 star reviews below and it really hasn't been my experience with Made Of Stories.... I bought 2 kaftans and some bathing costumes and they were identical to the images on the website, to the point that I have shared on Instagram and my friends have purchased some items also... I've been in touch with the lady who runs this business to thank her and she genuinely is a caring woman who is building her brand ....if you are unhappy with your items I'm sure she would accept returns. There is an element of drop shipping I'm sure as it took an out 2 to 3 weeks for my items to arrive but I was really happy with them, I've recommended the shop to others and my friends have purchased and been happy.... So I can only speak from my experience which was an overwhelmingly positive one.

Total scam of a site!! I purchased a ring, it’s supposed to be sterling silver. I trusted the site thinking it was a UK store and looks very professional. I received a plastic piece of rubbish children get for a £1 in the sweet machines. They even went through the trouble of stamping the plastic band to make it look real!! Such a shame as the design would be lovely as a real metal ring. Do not recommend this site and I wish I checked Trustpilot first before I used them as it’s obvious they’re a scam from the many negative reviews from real customers not their mates.

So I stumbled on this website while Googling up little jackets and saw the most perfect one just what I wanted so I placed the order and also ordered a kimono as they was to beautiful to resist…I had never heard of the site before so was a little sceptical but two days later my kimono arrived and was just beautiful great quality I can’t wait to wear it on holiday… however my jacket took slightly longer as as a week passed I started to worry and looked up reviews which some are not so good so I emailed the company madeofstories and they replied instantly with very helpful and reassuring replies it was actually my fault as I did not read the small print to say this particular jacket takes up to two weeks to arrive anyway it arrived on the very day the email said it would and omg worth the wait I think it’s the most gorgeous stunning leather jacket I’ve ever seen and the quality is just outstanding especially for the price I’m sure I will be getting lots of compliments as it’s just beautiful thank you again madeofstories I will be ordering again… I’m not sure if the people writing the bad reviews on trust pilot have the right company to be honest maybe there mistaking for another website as the clothing is of outstanding quality and so is there customer service … in fact I love my cream colour motociclista leather so much I’ve just placed another order for the red one 😍☺️😃

This shop's logo says "Made of Stories London" but it's basically a dropshipping scam shipping clothes from China.

I ordered a dress on sale - they overprice things on the website to trick you into thinking a £35 dress is a good deal - and it turned out to be made of the most plasticy fabric possible. It was so unnatural that it made my hair go static.

If you want the equivalent quality of clothes shop at Shein for way less money.

I love the concept of this brand!!! I have ordered 2 leggings and the two coloured fur coat and I have to say I am impressed!!! The quality of the leggings is INSANE ,the material is so soft and breathable and comfy. Also the fur coat is the best thing you can wear when it’s cold outside!! I always get compliments whenever i wear it because it is so unique and unlike other coats you see out there( i have the baby blue-pink one) . So stylish and fuzzy and warm at the same time! Ver very pleased, definitely will be purchasing again

Still waiting for my order placed on 20th November and no response from customer services. Avoid!

The item arrived after almost 4 weeks. It came direct from China in a plastic bag with no Made.of Stories branding. It looks cheap amd nasty. Returning.

Waited two weeks for item to arrive, sent completely the wrong thing. Supposedly comes from the UK but was sent from China and they're about 4 sizes smaller than they should be. Shoddy material. Definitely wouldn't purchase from again.

The best bit... Paid £36 for pyjamas.. customs label says they're worth £8!

They want me to pay for the return postage according to the PayPal dispute and only display positive reviews on their website (trust me, the negative one I left is nowhere to be found)

Avoid like the plague.

Disappointed with quality of stitching, looked like it was made in a hurry, no label to say it was from Made Of Stories, no fabric label or washing instructions, came from HK. Would have returned if it hadn't been for a gift, no time to get something else. Do no recommend, as not worth the money. Only seem to show the positive reviews on the website.
