Started the seven day trial. I cancelled it. They still charged me $70. Within 24 hours their support was contacted asking for cancelation and the charge to be reversed. They told me their policy and,... See more

⚠️ Scam Alert: Madgicx.com
I started a trial on Madgicx.com on 27 May 2025 and forgot to remove their access. On 13 July 2025, they ran 3 gambling ads without my permission, spending my balance.
Issues:
Unauthorized ads and charges
No notification before campaigns launched
Gambling promotions damaging my account reputation
Advice:
Avoid Madgicx or immediately revoke access after any trial. Monitor your billing closely. I am disputing the charges and requesting a refund.
After I canceled the free trial
After I canceled the free trial, Madgicx still refuses to let me detach any personal data:
Facebook ad account → still locked in place:
Settings ▸ Manage connected ad accounts shows my personal FB Ad Account, but the trash-can icon is greyed-out and the “Remove” button never becomes active, even after a refresh or re-authentication. Because it’s the only account in the workspace, the platform insists it must stay—despite the plan now showing as “Trial cancelled.”
Payment card → can’t be deleted:
In Payments ▸ Payment methods the card I used to start the trial is still listed. The “Remove” option is disabled, and Madgicx won’t allow deletion unless another card is added first—defeating the purpose of removing billing details after cancellation.
In short, canceling the trial did not release control of either my Facebook account or my card information. I’m left with a cancelled subscription that still stores my ad assets and payment details, with no straightforward way to erase them.
Awesome team over at Madgicx
Awesome team over at Madgicx! I was a bit overwhelmed with the tool at first and the amount of data and options to run campaigns in Facebook and Google. I played around with it and built some campaigns and thought to have a demo call with one of the team, Jerin, and he showed me what I needed to do to improve my campaigns exponentially!
I really appreciate the time he put into showing me what I could do with Madgicx. Looking forward to using Madgicx for the long run.
If you're on the fence, don't be, this tool not only helps you with building your creatives and campaigns, but also has AI bidding and other AI tools that can really amp up your ads.

NO REFUND after the trial. WARNING
I did the trial but didn't use the service after the trial they automatically charged my card for the annual membership. I tried explaining to them and requesting for a refund but to no avail. WARNING TO ALL. don't avail of their trial.
Reviews are fake! Don't fall for the trap!
Reviews are fake! Read all the 1-star reviews. I got a trial, and was charged over 600$ in total (2 transactions). Been in contact for a refund, never got one. Filed a report with the police. Account access was blocked, all I could do was block my credit card and request a new one. Customer service is BAD!
Great customer support and reasonable…
Great customer support and reasonable prices.

Great platform
Great platform , where we can execute all the ads at one place. AI driven , hence saves lot of money and time to gather reports.

Like a ransomware virus that won't go away
Once you have installed the app, it will hold you to ransom and the only way to get rid of it is pay them or delete your pixel. My pixel stopped working properly after installing this damn thing and I haven't been able to run facebook ads since - admittedly I am not 100% sure sure if this is the cause of the pixel not working properly now, but it looks like it is the culprit... I was setting up an ad account, and simply followed Facebook suggestions to install an API gateway, assuming it would be another META app. Madgicx. came up in the setup wizard as "recommended", so I just kept clicking through the set-up wizard, until it finished installing. It then opened up the the Madgicx website on a page saying to unlock any information I had to pay. Since then, I have spent THREE DAYS trying to remove this damn thing from my account, as it keeps showing an error, saying I need to connect (PAY). It is like a damn virus / ransomware that won't go away. Since Meta do not provide any support whatsoever, I have so far wasted three with chatgpt trying to get rid of the damn thing. After three days of this ChatGPT finally found the answer: " Meta’s own docs admit you can’t selectively delete a CAPI Gateway without nuking the dataset it lives in" and start all over again... Utterly shameless, disgraceful way to operate by both Meta and Madigcx. STEER CLEAR unless you want to be held to ransom or be prepared to delete your entire dataset.
Toki and Santiage have been absolutely…
Toki and Santiage have been absolutely amazing. Prior to working with them, i was averaging a 2-2.5 ROAS. After a few weeks, i was at or above 3 on a consistent basis and significantly above my revenue projections and at a lower cost. The ads they design are great and there are so many different ones active all the time. I love how they turn them off quickly if not performing and scale quickly when they are. Highly recommend them.

strongly advise against trying this…
strongly advise against trying this service. The so-called "7-day trial" is completely misleading — it’s just a trap to get your payment info. The platform itself is poorly built and underdelivers on every promise; there are far better tools out there.
Without any notice, they charged my card and refused to issue a refund. It feels deceptive at best, and borderline scam behavior. Save yourself the frustration — look elsewhere.
Got automatically billed after trial
Got automatically billed after trial, never used it and they wont process any refund. Completely over priced.
No refund - No reminder
Got charged right after the 7-day trial. Never saw a reminder email, and support refused a refund – even though the service wasn’t used.
Plenty of other platforms offer goodwill refunds in such cases. Disappointing.
Horrible experience, Online Fraud
Horrible experience. They force you to out your card and then if you cancel the trial, they will charge you.
The intent is not to support but to cheat people. Enrolled on 11-4-25. Invoice no. 52192 for $29. Cancelled it, feeling cheated and robbed.
Finally lost my money and couldn't use it for even 2 days. Perfect online fraud. A big no for this platform
Free alternatives crush this
Free AI tools generate better ad copy in seconds. This paid service can't even compete with what's available for zero dollars.
It’s always a great discussion
It’s always a great discussion, and it consistently helps solve my problems. Subscribing has been truly worthwhile. The support team is also very helpful and responsive.

Deceptive/ fraudulent Billing
I canceled my Madgicx account, assuming — as their interface led me to believe — that everything associated with my subscription would be terminated. Instead, I was charged afterwards for an "add-on" that was never clearly disclosed during the cancellation process. At no point was I made aware that canceling the main subscription wouldn’t also cancel any associated charges.
The cancellation flow was misleading, and it felt intentionally designed to confuse users into ongoing billing without their knowledge. I would never recommend a platform that engages in shady billing practices. Be very cautious if you sign up — they make it easy to subscribe, but confusing and costly to leave.
BEWARE!
If you’re thinking of trying this company, do yourself a favor and don’t.
I asked for a refund after realizing their product wasn’t what I needed — I didn’t even use the trial for 10 minutes. I provided evidence of what misled me using AI search results, only to be told by support that AI isn’t reliable. Yes, you read that right. The company’s entire service is based on AI… but when it’s inconvenient for them, suddenly AI can’t be trusted. Palm. To. Face. 🤦♂️ Camie from support clearly has a sky-high IQ — managed to contradict the entire business model in one email. Impressive.
They twisted my explanation, ignored the actual problem, and hid behind policy while pocketing the money. Classic.
I’ve already disputed the charge with my bank, and I’ll be warning others to stay far away. If you enjoy throwing money at a wall this is the company for you.
Be aware
Be aware — you cannot just create creatives without giving full access to your Facebook. Misleading advertising. and it is difficult to cance the subsribtion
Next app, thanks.
Maybe the team does not natively speak english, but the customer support was terrible. Long response times, unacknowledged questions and demeaning answers from the chat. An honest representation of what this platform is actually does, what its good at doing and what it doesn't do would probably have saved it from a bad review. But the platform overall is disappointing and there are many other apps/sites that do what it promises to do much better. 2/5 would not waste money on this especially if you're starting your scaling from a budget of anything 4k and below.
