Our go-to summer camp!

We love Mad Science! My eldest has been going for at least four years, and his younger brother has gone for two years now too. They always come out smiling, with lots to say about the different activities and experiments they've done. We like that they're learning through play, and enjoying games and playing with other kids with similar interests too. The wraparound hours make this a great full day camp option. We always recommend Mad Science to others!

6 year old daughter loves this…

My daughter loves Mad Science holiday club at compass point (bedminster). Since the first time we booked, she has begged me to send her again. She comes home full of excitement about what she has done that day and brimming with facts she wants to share with us. She also comes home tired out, which is a plus!

Parties for the Science Mad!

I cannot recommend Atomic Andrew and Mad Science highly enough for children's birthday parties. My daughter and her friends had an absolute blast at her sixth birthday party with Andrew leading the way. Communication was clear and easy, making the whole booking process stress-free.

Andrew was an engaging and entertaining host, keeping the children entertained and involved throughout the entire event. The range of experiments they watched was fascinating, and the kids loved being able to participate in them. The highlight for all the children was making their own pots of slime to take home - it was a hit!

Andrew's sense of humor and ability to interact with the children made the party smooth and enjoyable for everyone involved. I could see how much fun my daughter and her friends were having, and I know they'll be talking about it for months to come.

Overall, Atomic Andrew and Mad Science provided an excellent, entertaining, and educational experience for my daughter's birthday party. My little one always loves the Mad Science camps so it was amazing to be able to sit in and watch it all in action. I will definitely be recommending them to all my friends for their children's parties!

Great club for the holidays

Son really enjoyed his week at the mad science club this summer. He learned a lot and had so much of fun. Really recommend this club as the teachers are so friendly and the children are well looked after.

Great fun, fab staff just a little on the expensive side.

A fab holiday club which my 9 year old really enjoyed. Totally different to other options over the holidays. Staff were great, content was lots of fun just a shame it is quite so expensive and unable to accept childcare vouchers in wales. We would have definitely used it more if it was more in line with similar alternative holiday camps prices.

Absolutely fantastic

Absolutely fantastic! You have the guarantee your kids are going to learn playing. I had my two girls doing the summer camp and they loved every single day. The staff was so nice also.

My only concern is the cost. I think is should be slightly lower. Although it is a high quality of learning, parents are struggling nowadays more than ever. Education and summer camps should be more accessible.

Even so, my kids will definitely repeat. The learning experience was brilliant.

My child attended their first session over the summer and loved it. They had lots of fun and learned new things. There are so many sports holiday clubs around so I was so pleased to find this alternative. My child is looking forward to going back again.

Excellent educational camp

Excellent educational camp. The content is great with varied themes over the days and weeks. The staff are very caring, enthusiastic and inclusive. It's very good value for money. You can add on wrap-around easily. Useful online portal to manage your account too.

Unique and fun science-y summer camp

My 7yo son really enjoyed his two days of summer camp at Mad Science. The activities really got his imagination flowing and he came home motivated to do his own experiments. I would give it 5 stars if it was a bit more affordable (it is quite expensive compared to alternatives), and I would also book more days.

Great holiday club!

Both of my children (just finished year1 and year 3) have been going to the summer camps for the past couple of years. It's an easy sell as they both enjoy the interactive elements and the experiments. The different themes mean that it doesn't get boring and the staff seem very friendly and engaging.

My daughter came home really excited and proud of everything she learned!

My daughter went to Mad Science camp over the summer between Reception and Year 1 and she had an absolute blast. She went to number of different camps over the summer holiday and consistently said that this was her favourite. She was really proud of all the new things she was learning and even asked us to sign her up for some extra days. We’ll definitely be returning.

Mad about Mad Science!

Our 6 year-old-son tried the Mad Science holiday clubs on several days over summer and was not disappointed! Each day had a different theme (e.g. oceanography or explosions), which he found captivating. After the science challenge on the final day he came home enthusing about how he would save the world from an imminent asteroid strike (rocket-launched defence shield made of giant trampoline)... And one of the amazing club leaders even "solved" his Rubics Cube for him, which remains a source of fascination and inspiration...

Even better than it looks

Every so often you discover something that you hope is as amazing as it looks! My 7 year old tried a single session at the start of summer holidays in Penarth. He literally was talking about for several days later .. we had book up the last week of term for him. He is an information and science junkie and he loved every second of the week (which flew by). It was brilliant to know he was in safe environment and that everyone there, including the people running the session kept the same level of energy and enthusiasm for each days topic at high standard. Will be booking again!

Excellent holiday camp option for fun STEM activities

My two sons (aged 5 and 7) loved the Mad Science camp in Penarth in the summer holidays. The learnt a lot, had fun and felt very inspired by the activities and experiments. I wouldn't personally do science experiments at home (not my strength) so it was great to be able to delegate this to experts and work while I knew they were well taken care of and enjoying themselves all while doing worthwhile STEM activities.
