Mad Science SW Reviews 

Was available at short notice. Looked after my kids well. I would say that it could have been better in terms of the actual science aspect. Kids said they talked about experiments and started some stuff but didn't get to actually see the results. They made origami with what looks like standard A4 paper... at these prices, I would have thought actual origami paper might have been used. Overall, I managed to go to work and the kids were kept safe, so 4/5.

Hogwarts day was the highlight of the summer! Great imagination from the instructors. My kids had fun and learnt without realising they were learning!

Booking was a little tricky to set up initially but would be fine once you had an account. My children aged 8 and 6 went for a day and had a great time.

7yo went to 8 days of Summer Camp this year. She really enjoyed the first 3 days - the staff were excellent and the themes were engaging. The second week of camp was good but not as fun overall. The staff were different - they were friendly but not as funny as the first week.
We would book in again, paying close attention to the themes for the days.

Mad Science provides and wonderful combination of games and science, my 6 and 8 year old love it and we return holiday after holiday.

My son absolutely loved Mad Science Summer camp. It was a fantastic opportunity for him to learn about a variety of topics, including Oceans and The Solar System. He made friends and thoroughly enjoyed his time there. He was very inspired by the coaches and continues to reference what he learnt to this day! Will definitely return!

My 8 year old had the most amazing time at the camps at hendrefoilan and ffynone house schools this summer. Experimenting with ways to make a balloon go faster was her favourite!

My 10 year old son absolutely loves attending Mad Science Camp! I never have to worry about whether any of his friends will be going as he enjoys all of the activities and he gets to meet like minded children. I've always found the staff to be super friendly and very encouraging of the children. Last year he spent 3 of the 6 week holiday at the camp, he never complained and enjoyed every session.

My son, now 9, attends the Swansea camps, and has done for a few years now! He absolutely loves it. The venue is excellent, and easy to access.
The course content is engaging and fun. A good mix of experiments/ demonstrations, art and craft projects and games.
The staff are always professional, welcoming and friendly.
Over the holidays, there's always a huge variety of topics covered and no two days are the same.
I would absolutely recommend mad science camps.

My 6 year old daughter has attended several of the camps during school holidays. It is a wonderful environment and she always thoroughly enjoys her time spent in these classes. The teachers are always very kind and patient. I would highly recommend mad science.

A fantastic holiday club that fully engages the children. Especially great for children interested in STEM.

My children (7 & 5) attended the Bristol camp. They had a fantastic time. They really loved the experiments (making slime and comets). The staff were friendly and enthusiastic. They learnt alot about the human body and space. We would highly recommend the camp to others and the children are looking forward to going next summer!

Great scientists at work! My daughter loved Mad Science so much that this is the camp she wants every summer. Great venue as well

My daughter did this at school and as a summer camp and loved them both. She came home asking to recreate the experiments she did at MAD science.

Use at rougemont in Newport. Always had a good experience and children have always enjoyed it. Different topics every day/week so they never get bored!

My 7 & 9 year attendant Mad science camp summer 2023 in Newport South Wales. They had a great time, well run, good variety of activities daily, kind helpful staff and the facilities were good. Would highly recommend. The circus tricks, making slime and a bouncy ball were definitely highlights.

Absolutely love the Mad science holiday camps . Run by enthusiastic young kind people they do loads of amazing practical science experiments that will blow your mind, teach you about your body and space and many other things … oh and slime making is the best!
A highly recommended holiday activity and the wrap around options are very helpful. Would highly recommend and will be using next year

My daughter absolutely loves Mad Science. She always wants to go back for more. The teachers are fantastic, great themes and they learn so much but in a fun way. Highly recommend.

My 8yr old had a fantastic week with our local Mad Science. He got to enjoy different themes each day and lots of indoor and outdoor experiments. The staff were amazing especially Lightning Luke.

Our son loves science and we were so excited to find that there was a Mad scientist camp near us. He had the most amazing time and learnt so much that we've had to replicate some of the 'cool and funny' experiments at home 😀 fab time! He definitely wants to go again!
