Cleaner arrive 15 minutes late, but did a great job.

Nice Girls came to clean a fair sized 3 bedroom house, after my mother left after 53 years. They were just great. On time. Very friendly and worked so hard, on a really hot day. Everything gleaming. I’m delighted and would use Maidinyourhometown once again.

We have used Maidinyourhometown for over 4 years . Always high quality service from a team (Mary & Samantha) who work quietly and efficiency. So I would have no delay in recommending this house cleaning service to others.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
This company is horrible. We had a horrible experience with them. Instead of working with us to solve the issue they quickly jump to threats. Really disgusting.

Update: 😃 They have replied to my BBB review and apologized for the experience. They will not be sending my account into collections and apparently they took appropriate corrective measures with Danial (I hope he didn't get fired, just better training in these kind of situations I hope). Overall I appreciate them taking care of this within 24hrs. I will book an appt again and hope no issues happen. Thank you for taking care of this!

DON'T EVEN BOTHER! I made an appointment for 2:30pm, I get a text at that time saying the maid is running 10 mins late. 40 mins later we got sick of waiting, so we called to cancel, the person who answered was understanding and confirmed it was cancelled. Then 5 mins later the maid shows up, told her we cancelled the appointment, she was annoyed but didn't say anything. Then a week later I get a threatening text message from someone named Daniel demanding a cancellation payment of $30. What the hell? He threatened to send it to collections if payment is not made by next day noon. Your employee didn't show up on the scheduled time, you told me she will be 10mins late, I cancelled the appointment, then she still shows up, and we declined the work as it's too late, if she started cleaning it would mean I would be late going to work, which I wouldn't do just for housecleaning...and now you're threatening to send me to collections? Don't trust this company! STAY AWAY!

This company has a lot of work to do to improve customer service and responsibility of employees.

This can be done by taking ownership of health and safety of technician and customer; Conduct WHMIS training and hold technicians accountable to be in compliance at all times.

maid in your hometown need to treat customers concerns as areas of opportunity rather than acting defensively. Concerns should NOT be met by calling a customer a liar or blaming customer for not specifying exactly that "working order" tools should be brought to complete job. As the employer it is their responsibility to hold technicians to a standard that ensures all work tools are in good working order for each job.

Finally, respect Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) laws; do not repeatedly contact customers by text message (without prior consent) with threats to send them to collections.

They are scam artists. They couldn’t give me a definite answer if they could get a cleaner to my place so I cancelled. They then said there is a cancellation fee if I don’t give them 24 hours noticed. They have been spamming me non stop and threatening to take me to collections. I didn’t sign any contract or anything. They are your typical scam artists.

I was NOT disappointed with one bit of the work, the cleaner was spot on. I was impressed with the dedication of the cleaner, I did not imagine for it to be so noisy but at the end of the day every thing was spotless with a lovely smell.
