Alex is a thorough professional, a perfectionist and a compassionate person. We were struggling to find an occult water leak despite contacting few local plumbers on several occasions. To cut story short, it ended with significant damage of false ceiling. Luckily, I found contact for Mainbuilder. I was surprised to know that they provide 24/7 services. I found Alex at my house in few minutes. With in few minutes, leak was spotted. Later he and his high tech team did a renovation to its best , much higher than my expectations. I found him a multi skilled worker, always considerate and a man with a kind heart. I would give him 5 stars for value of money, time duration, quality of work and materials.

Alex created a double doorway in an internal brick wall connecting my kitchen and dining room. I am delighted with the results after Alex put a lot of care into his work and left everything clean and tidy at the end of each day.

I first met Alex and his team when they came to reinstate my Mum's property after a major leak. I was so impressed with the standard of work, professionalism, respect that I was shown and the friendliness of everyone that I had them back to fit a new kitchen in my house.
This time it was mostly Alex that I was dealing with. We discussed the plans and materials and he advised me on which of my ideas were practical and giving me alternatives to ones that were not, using his expertise to find better solutions.
I found it rather amusing to see his face when I said that," I've had an idea" but this did mean that the left over materials were all put to good use, including the construction of a breakfast bar.
His team are back and are presently working on an extension off the kitchen and reconfiguring the front of my garage. I have no hesitation in recommending Alex and his team who I now consider to be my friends.

Got my bathroom fitted by these folks, and they were pure brilliant! From start to finish, it all went smooth as silk. Nae bother at all. quick, professional, and the price was fair too. They left the place spotless, nae mess anywhere, which is a rare treat! If you’re in Dumfries and need a bathroom done, dont hesitate to hire them. cracking job!
