I used to work for this company as a canvasser. they used to smoke weed on the job whilst knocking doors. No ID to show who we are to random people's houses of whom we are knocking, i even managed to go into the bookies for an hour and never got caught. There's no professionalism and staff just don't care for the business, we were left to run riot. They got me to go into their office in Telford just to sack me and leave me stranded with no money. My wage was paid by cheque, 2 weeks late & underpaid, then when i went to cash my wages the cheque bounced!!!
This company is a joke and avoid at all costs.

Shoddy, unprofessional workmanship.

Had two windows and a patio door fitted when this company was known as Pembertons. No wonder they went out of business and started up under another name, their work is appalling! At first the installation seemed ok, then after a few months I noticed cold draughts coming from around the edges of the windows. The trim covering the join wasn't fixed with the proper adhesive, just what looked like silicone sealer and it was falling off. After removing the trim, which wasn't hard, there was an enormous gap between the window and the inside cill. They had made no attempt to seal or fill the gap, just covered it up. Both windows were the same, as was the patio door, which had an almost 15mm gap on one side that allowed the frame to move so that I couldn't get it to lock. I have had to remove all of the trim and fill the cavities with expanding foam. I would never have any work done again by this or any other company they are involved in.

Beware

Beware! Weathersafe do not give drawings for their structures, so what you get may not be what you were led to believe. I have just spent over £13k for something that is totally useless. In particular they sold me bifold doors so that I could keep my motorcycle in structure, then proceeded to fit a step to them instead of low level threshold supplied

bodgeitandscarper

good quality doors but very poor after sales service we have been waiting months for a member of this company to put right the small broken piece of plastic on the closing part of our French Doors (found while cleaning off the red brick dust and nearly cutting myself }it was snapped of by too much force used to saw the bottom because the door did not close properly, only a small thing you may think but if you are paying thousands for French doors you would like and expect it to be perfect, someone came out months ago took a photo muttered the measurements all the way back to the car and that was that, several unanswered phone calls messages on facebook a promise of contact then months later I phoned because the door locks are stiff and will not work properly someone actually answered the phone fobbed me off saying it will be passed on, then nothing, they are happy to take your hard earned pension, then it's up yours sucker.....which is what we both feel we have been, if you expect good customer after sales service RUN A MILE FROM THIS COMPANY. if you feel need to exit in an emergency then this is not the place to shop....my husband is strong enough to force the handle up to open it thank goodness, but I cant.........

I have had several windows and a door…

I have had several windows and a door fitted by weathersafe. I have been replacing my windows one by one.
I had a door fitted in March 2018, when I was having some more windows out in the man who came to measure them up adjusted the door for me as it did not fit.
Since them the door was not fitting properly. I have rung the company numerous times as it needed readjusting and on speaking to Emma, she asked if I had left a review (on seeing the reviews it is mrs Hall below). Emma arranged for the men to come and adjust the door. I waaited in all day and took a day's holiday from work. They didn't appear. I since then have left countless messages for the firm to contact me. All to no avail. at Christmas, I had visitors who were appalled by the drafts and the 'ill fitting door'. I continued to ring and leave messages. All the staff that I spoke to were very courteous. However the lady 'Emma' didn't get back to me. In the meantime I still being 'cold called' by weathersafe to have more windows. I was not very amused.
In desperation I have had to pay to get the door adjusted and it now fits perfectly. Unfortunately this has incurred a cost and also a lot of stress.
i do have windows and another door to replace. I can safely say that I will not being using Weathersafe.
It is a shame really as all the reps. fitters, people answering the phone in the office were very obliging and courteous. It is Emma who has let the copy down. !!

We didn't experience a pressure sale and essentially the new door is good quality, however, we have had issues and they are VERY slow to resolve. Fittings were incorrect resulting in us requesting and eventually getting a new door. This wasn't fitted correctly and now our 10 year old can't open it as it's so stiff - a safety hazard! This is two months later and still not resolved. Thank goodness it's only a door and not all the windows as well!!

Very satisfied with this company

I have just had my complete house done by these guys, after reading some of the reviews others had written about them I felt compelled to report my experience with them. I have to say from the initial representative John, to the fitters Tom and Rob, I have been very happy with the service and the overall finished product. The fitters left my property clean and tidy at the end of each day and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would recommend them to anyone, my neighbour has subsequently ordered their windows too!

Scammers

Family member paid for their conservatory to be removed and replaced with a new modern one. Workmen came and removed the old one and haven't been back and my family members have been told that the new conservatory isn't going to be built.

as Pemberton home improvements , prosecuted by Trading Standards.

This company was known as 'Pemberton Home Improvements Co Ltd' and the directors of Weathersafe are still the Pemberton Family. They were prosecuted for 15 counts of 'Pressure Selling' by Telford and Wrekin trading standards and fined £50,000. Just be aware that this is the same company with a changed name.

no customer services and do not deliver what they promise

contacted by this company in January regarding a new door / porch. Like previous reviewer told they were in our area and could they come and quote us.Agreed to do this but as we live in a 200yr old house wanted something in character. Rep promised us the old bricks would be matched and to save money the old porch roof would be used but the builders would make it look good . Also at time of placing order we agreed to fit around their work men as long as it was before the end of febuary.. We were told no problem and they would contact us when builders are due to do foundations weeks went by and after several calls a date was given . The builders came using bricks that did not blend in as promised warning bells started to ring!!!!. The base also looked crooked. a survayor visited and also said the bricks would be matched .....wrong. We contacted the office and a director came out and reassured us everything would be done to make it look suitable for an old house. The date we were given for fitting was given but at 3pm the day before we were told the door was not ready so it would be put back week . As the following week we were on holiday it was put back another week . This date was also put back a few days because of bad weather. By this time we had sent 3 or 4 emails detailing our concerns and they had not delivered anything they had promised . They had already discounted £500 from the price but the stress caused was unforgivable. I always have a rule about not using firms that are not local and the dealings with this company is why i will stick to that in future. Not only did we never get a reply to our emails the fitter did not seal the porch properly so the first rain came and the porch flo0r was sodden. The roof was also not made to be leak proof as promised . We rang them up 2 days after fitting to say it was not sealed and water was coming in - why did you not tell us sooner was the reply we it only rained today so it has not been sealed .We had that day received a guarantee for 10yr for the porch and they seemed put out we were not satisfied after 2 day, The fitter did turn but not on the day arranged putting us to more inconvenience . Would i recommend this company no they promise what they cant deliver and customer e mails never replied to . If they had of been local i would have visited their office in person.Shame because i too am in business with customers always asking me for trades recommendations this firm wont be on of them.

Overall I am quietly pleased with Weathersafe Windows UK Ltd, having knowledge of the previous review before ordering and would use them again. Manufacturing of product is excellent quality and fitted on time. Uncomfortable with the "order it on the day you see the rep" technique but liked the product and decided the price was ok. Clayton came to measure up and was very accommodating. Adrian the fitter, had a wealth of experience and Andy made sure everywhere was cleaned up and tidy. Be aware that the HomePro Insurance has a £50 excess - I wasn't told of this during the rep meeting.

If ever a company deserved zero stars... this is it!

AVOID, Avoid, Avoid! I wish I could give this company zero stars!

The rep arrived desperate for the loo. Later I discovered he hadn't bothered to lift the seat, which was soaking wet with a puddle on the floor! When I complained to the company, the receptionist was clearly shocked, but no-one even had the decency to contact me and apologise!

The rep was desperate because he was an hour late. When the appointment had been made, I'd pointed out that people need directions to find my house easily, but the man on the phone was in too much of a hurry for me to explain. The rep would find it... when the rep rang me he was lost about 20 miles away... if his sat nav wasn't working, can't he read a map?

I expected him to take measurements for an outer door to give me a quote. No – he embarked on a pressure selling campaign. After giving me some reason about why I didn't want the design I'd already decided on, he'd gone though his lecture on how Weathersafe could undercut Everest because they made all the parts themselves... For the next few weeks they would be concentrating in a big way on a local part of the country, after which they would be working in some distant area, so my door would cost about £1600+ Then came the quote of £1000+ if I would commit myself today...

If I'm put under pressure to part with money, I clamp down into defence mode... No! He went through all the persuasion tactics, trying to make me feel like a loser.. and so on...

I checked the company on the Internet. This Telford-based company seemed very unlikely to be big enough to manufacture all their parts as well as selling and fitting them, and also too small to move operations around the country in the way he'd described. A Google search on Weathersafe reveals a report on Pemberton Home Improvements Co Ltd, listed on another site as a previous name of Weathersafe. In 2103 it was fined £50,000 for pressure selling and making false claims, and its name was changed in 2014. Also it had falsely displayed logos giving quality assurance on its paperwork - yes, I'd been shown the Association of Chief Police Officers Secured By Design logo on its paperwork and been told what it meant...

I could continue... I contacted Trading Standards, who were very interested in what I had to say... However, this company has a page of glowing reports from allegedly satisfied customers on its website... Note they are published by the company, and not by the customers themselves, so there is no way I could have added my experience. At the foot of the home page – "The fitters were.... very clean and tidy." You can't believe Weathersafe expects that of its employees!

The latest is that the company has gone into the red and is being wound up. Previously it got going again under a different name. I'd be very lucky not to have lost my £1000! I'd be very wary of any new company in the Telford area selling outer doors, conservatories, double glazing, and the like, with a director named Pemberton. You can check details on Google.
