Excellent customer experience
I bought blinds in October and have had a few technical difficulties, due to my own faults! Which has meant that I have had a number of contacts with customer service and have dealt specifically with Caitlen C, she has been so helpful and kind on every occasion, she has been quick to answer my queries and find solutions to help support me. Overall very impresses with her and the service provided!

Blinds came pretty quickly and in good condition. We ordered 6 Venetian blinds and are happy with 4 out of the 6. We had to request for one to be replaced which was difficult as the customer care was quite poor. It needed to be replaced as for some reason it was 5kg heavier than all the others. Due to the weight of them we've had to drill into the steel beams above our windows. Besides the fact they're so heavy, due to what looks like a brass rod that turns the blinds, they're good quality, work flawlessly and most importantly look good.
Even though customer care were poor id recommended buying the size insurance, even though the size they sent the first time wasn't accurate they claimed it was and refused to do anything initially, the blind was barely big enough to fit into it's catches and due to it being so insanely heavy, even compared to the bigger blind we ordered, it would keep bending and jumping out into of pulling out all the provided hooks I installed.

Avoid this company! We ordered blinds a couple of weeks ago so they could be installed before Xmas. The company now say the blinds are out of stock and I have to wait until January before they are delivered. This is despite their website still showing that the blinds are in stock and that they will be delivered before Xmas! Their customer service is nonexistent, tried calling several times and emailing but no response! They are not interested in finding solutions to your problems, just taking your money with undelivered promises!

So orderd blinds specifically from this company as it was one of the only ones offering delivery before Xmas. Once order paid for I got a delivery notification of a "provisional" delivery date of 8th Jan. On speaking to the co nothing they can do, although the reps I spoke to were helpful they have no authority so basically it sounds very much like their marketing department didn't know this was incorrect. Not a good way to run a business really disappointed so will be cancelling order and would never recommend using them to anyone. False advertising no fun for their customers or front facing staff who have to deal with this.

The blind took over four weeks to arrive and then did not fit. After email correspondence it emerged that they have two contradictory instructions regarding how to measure and "exact size". Seemingly the exact size is not what it sounds like. Despite that the blind was not in fact the correct size for either interpretation of "Exact". After four weeks of "thought" I received an email accusing me of lying about the size of the blind received. In total the process has taken 2 months from order to refusal to rectify. Not great.

Despite having insurance on the order, we were not offered a product replacement. Email responses were extremely slow. The order itself was heavily delayed because the item we chose turned out to be out of stock, even though there was no such information on the store’s website.
Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue with many online shops. They don’t respect the customer’s time — you spend hours choosing the right product, only to learn a week or two after placing the order that the item is actually unavailable.

What I have received does not match the image or description on the website for the width of the tape, the top coving or the pull cord weights. On top of this it is marked, with various defects such as loose caps and covered in plastic shavings.
It has taken them a week to respond in the first instance. They argee the blinds i have received are different to the ones pictured however they have stated the following:
"As I have stated before, the images on the website are used for imagery purposes only, and a sample is recommended so you can see the colourings and sizes of the tapes. This is all highlighted in the product specifications part of the listing"
However the product listing does not state that images are for imagery purposes only nor does it recommend that a sample is ordered. I have pointed this out and they have stopped responding.
They are in violation of the consumer law and i have reported them to trading standards for this.
Update: 3/1/26
I took this to paypal to resolve and they sided with myself stating they agreed the sold item didnt match the description. The following day i received an email from makemyblinds stating they had re reviewed my complaint and decided to refund me for the blinds which seems coincidental.
Its a shame as we have purchased several blinds from makemyblinds over the years but quality has clearly gone down hill and they still advertise the old blinds.

I was struggling to find blinds that would fit my window, and I am so happy that I found this company. My window size is 260cm, and most companies make them 240cm max. Anyway, they had sent me an email that the blinds would be ready and delivered in a month. I was fine with that, as that was the only company. But I actually received them after a week. My husband installed them, and they look amazing. We had watched a video on how to install them, and it was easy. I am happy with them, and the quality, plus they look so amazing.

We needed new blinds in various rooms in our home. As we had never ordered from Make My Blinds before we just purchased them for our kitchen to begin with. When they arrived, the blinds were well packaged and great quality and fitted perfectly. Excellent. We then ordered six blinds for our conservatory and two for our bedroom. All wonderful and fitted exactly. So happy !
