Response to 1-Star Review

This 1-star comment was from someone who worked for a company I declined to do an influencer campaign for. I researched the company and people mentioned that when they declined this exact campaign, the person on the other end would say something along the lines of, "well we wouldn't want you anyway. If you're not taking this campaign you obviously aren't intelligent enough to see a good deal when you come across one, and we don't want unintelligent people on our team." I'm, of course, paraphrasing. That was the correct tone, just not the exact wording.

When they asked why I didn't want to be a part of their influencer campaign, I mentioned something about how I did my research and asked other influencers about their brand, and I didn't like the way they spoke to people and I choose not to align myself with a brand who speaks to others that way. I was calm but honest, and simply declined the opportunity.

This person (who was on the other end of the brand, messaging me via Instagram DM) continued to spout off insults, and yes I could've blocked them, so I asked why speak to people like that? You catch more flies with honey...

That was meant with this review. Unfortunately, and of course, everything she wrote on my review is inaccurate. I will search for the DM conversation and update this with the screenshots.
