Malte Marten is a handpan artist from Berlin whose meditative, improvised music reaches millions of listeners around the world on YouTube, Spotify and Instagram. His journey began in 2014, when he first discovered the handpan and knew this instrument would shape his life. He started out playing on the streets and in the parks of Berlin, then spent seven years touring Europe with the handpan duo Yatao, playing hundreds of concerts and workshops. In 2021 he began his solo career. His debut album "Lifeline" was funded entirely by his community through crowdfunding, followed by releases such as "An Ode to the Moon" (2024). Live on stage Today Malte tours Europe with the Healing Frequencies Tour, joined by percussionist Conrado Molina and multi-instrumentalist and producer Bummela. From intimate venues to historic concert halls like the Admiralspalast in Berlin, every evening is a shared sound journey: calm and intense, gentle and deep, a space to slow down and truly listen.
