I am deeply enjoying the journey of exploring my handpan with Malte. It's been by far one of the best online courses I have purchased and am stoked about the steady process of learning. The bite sized videos are perfect for my busy lifestyle and Maltes' calm and beautiful energy are medicine for the soul. I love it!

I got gifted the beginners’ journey for Christmas and was so excited! But the information provided by email didn’t work and the client support service took ages to help me, only to promise another email that never came. I still haven’t accessed my course. This team does a lot of promotion but I didn’t have a great experience.

The joyful way Malte invites you in his Handpan Courses and how easy it feels to learn from him is really something special. I‘ve done a few other courses in my life but never with such ease and joy as with Malte! Before I bought his courses, I haven‘t had a structure for playing handpan. I could do it but at some point I would lose the rythm and don‘t know why. The way of energy he brings with his lessons gave so much change to me in how to play. It was feeling like a switch was now on and I can play the rythms without falling out and just add more and more to it! Love it <3

This course is really everything you can wish for both beginners and intermediate players. Every lesson is bite-size and enables step-by-step learning with Malte. All the lessons are available in video format, so you can progress at your own speed and access the lessons as you need them. Learning handpan from Malte is a life changing experience, it helps me to quit long term addiction which have chained me for 20 years, it is liberating and now start to share handpan music in therapy with peace and joy, I wish I can be a handpan teacher to share with more people.

I have been around Malte's work for a short while but I just love his dedication to the music and the handpan itself. It is evident that he really cares about those that want to learn the handpan, and in providing a way for people to easily do that.

I am a year into my handpan journey, and I have tried several on-line teachers. I've found that I resonate the most with the way Malte Marten teaches. I find the way that he breaks things down is easy to follow and the energy and passion he exudes while demonstrating anything from a simple to a complex pattern is infectious.

Good and slow video tutorials. Lifelong access is great for the growth process and to go deeper from the beginner model to the high level.
The community is super nice and represented worldwide, but the manner is unfortunately not suitable for intensive exchange. For example, I would like a WhatsApp group in which you can exchange and regular meetings that are posted on a calendar which you can always check. So I sometimes feel left alone with my problems as a beginner, because you can hardly find your own questions in the community or they are not answered at all.

The course helps to improve skills, gain more confidence and feel a deeper connection with the instrument.

The online lessons are very clear and you can watch and rewatch as many times as you want. You can learn at your own pace. In addition: the help, guidance and support from the Malte Marten Method-team and the community around it is really positive and uplifting. It such a joy to share your progress and get constructive feedback from them, even as a complete beginner with no background in music theory whatsoever. The MMM-team is very dedicated to help! I love being part of this community. It’s the best! I can recommend this for everyone who wants to learn playing the handpan!

I follow the MalteMartenMethod because Malte gives me the best learning instructions I found in the worldwidweb. I can easily follow his tutorials and learn a lot. Musically and also by being forced to speak English.
First I booked a free course – very nice! – and met a wonderful community. I got help and feedback. I am encouraged by the MM-team.
I meet nice and special people from all over the world. That’s great. There is a lot of exchange and friendlyness. I see inspiring videos from other members. I much appreciate to get feedback on my own videos. This confirms my progress. I learned a lot.
Furthermore there are monthly community calls to learn directly from Malte, meet other members of the team and of the community in a relaxed atmosphere.
