garbage and more garbage , this rubbish must be stopped

what a shame this lot are still in business .
just lies and silly nonsense to get people to read it . this must be the worst pack of rubbish . why are these people allowed to preach this garbage to the public . I canelled my subscription and advise all honest people to do the same .
one thing is for sure the headline MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS DO NOT PUBLISH AGAIN . would be the best headline the honest public deserve .

Clickbait desperado chancers

Clickbait desperado chancers. Covering the grime scene when they're mainstream, Labour mouthpiece, pro Israeli tabloid hacks. Sadder than sad, on an ongoing basis.

To Whom It May Concern

Have you actually read some of their stuff. I'm from Newcastle but Jesus! You need to be numb in the head to gain any sort of enjoyment from this crap. Whoever authorised content needs dragged out by their pretty little tie and then told where the nearest job centre is! 😣

Really cringeworthy how their staff…

Really cringeworthy how their staff like and retweet each other on socials when no readers do the same. Reach Media quality is lower than ever in 2021. Mirror, Echo, Sun, MEN, all terrible. No need for papers like this in an age of blogs and podcasts.

Reach Media content and news staff…

Reach Media content and news staff continuing to hang around people's private social media and photo pages, making indirect references to people, stealing content and subject matter ideas. Very strange. Clearly not a responsible employer.

No coverage of major political decisions on GMSF

It is astonishing, that after almost 12 hours the MEN still hasn't published a proper story about the voting-down of the GMSF in Stockport.

If the same happened in London, it would be immediate news for the national press, and the London Evening Standard would be racing to cover it, analyse it and digest it.

If as the MEN frequently asserts, it wants Manchester to be a true world class city, It should put its money where its mouth is and report on it like the main newspaper/website for a world class city.

Jennifer Williams is an excellent reporter, and has covered the local decisions around coronavirus admirably, but she can't do justice to local and regional decision making on her own.

The MEN should put more money into covering real news, leave the celebrity tittle-tattle alone, and stop wasting its precious funds on re-writing national stories with a pointless 'it affects us like everyone else' angle.

We need the MEN to provide proper reporting and hold local and regional decision makers to account. If it isn't done locally, it won't be done at all.

Lazy and unoriginal

Lazy and unoriginal. Have seen them rehash content from local sites such as Mancs Finest, The Tab or Mancunian Matters several times recently. Any topic covered on these sites will appear on the MEN but at lesser quality of coverage, 24-32 hours later.

A terrible newspaper

An absolutely terrible newspaper! The standards of journalism have a lot to be desired, they are opinionated, amateur and don't give a honest view of what is really going on in the region. Avoid this, the standards also spill over onto their website an app versions....

Seems to be attempting to style it's…

Seems to be attempting to style it's sports coverage and youtube by ripping off US networks like ESPN, Bleacher Report etc. Worrying times. What do they do for media education in this country nowadays? "go on social media and copy the US". Sinking lower weekly.
