Greg was a fantastic Physics tutor for my daughter. He provided great support with her A-Level Physics studies in the short period of time that we knew him. My daughter was much more confident with Physics because of the lessons she had with him. We certainly recommend Greg for anyone looking for Physics lessons.

I studied Maths, Physics and Geography and during my first year of A-Levels in 2017 I was predicted to get two C’s and 1 D. I asked Greg for some help with my maths and physics as I was struggling and because of this I was able to achieve 2 B’s. He was extremely attentive and helpful. If it wasn’t for the help he gave me I wouldn’t have got the grades I needed to go to my university and wouldn’t have gone on to complete my degree. Overall the best tutor I could’ve asked for very smart and he has a brilliant ability to teach.

Parent Review Before Greg, son struggling with Physics at A level. The predicted grade in October 2021 was D, by June 2022 son achieved a B. Greg's tutoring really made the difference. Greg was so quick at working out the problem areas, he listened and understood. But really importantly knew exactly what to do to fix them. I found it hard to understand civil engineering degree applied maths. Greg managed to explain it in a way I understood and I was able to apply this knowledge to gain a 1st in my maths exam, which previously looked impossible.

Greg was instrumental in helping me get a good understanding of various concepts in physics which teachers had found difficult to explain to me. I often couldn't keep up with the maths that was being done in my school lessons but Greg helped me work through problems until I had a good understanding of them and could do them on my own. He also really helped me enjoy physics by tying it to real life. Couldn't recommend enough :)

Greg Cox you are nothing short of amazing and someone in life we will never forget. Our son is doing really well and now planning his Masters in Data Science with eyes firmly set on specialising in Reinforcement Learning within AI. You should be very proud of how you teach each student and we as parents would advise any other parents out there with a son or daughter needing that little but if guidance and encouragement to give Greg a call. Greg is an awesome tutor. I definitely wouldn't have got to Uni without his help. I don't think I was the easiest person to teach but Greg never gave up. He made me think completely differently about physics and maths problems which gave me the confidence I needed. Greg was also a great help when I was applying to Uni. Brilliant Tutor,
Greg started tutoring me at As-level when I was nearly asked to drop maths due to my very low grades. Over the course of the next two year I progressed quickly with Greg's help. Greg always made sessions interesting by relating the subjects (Maths and Physics) to real life problems. This really helped me gain more interest in the subjects and led me to find working on them easier. Greg was very supportive around A-level time helping me sort out any last issues before my exams. At the end of the two years of tutoring from Greg I went from getting E-D grades in maths tests to achieving a A in Physics and a B in Maths. I started receiving tutoring from Greg during my second year of college when the work load and difficulty of my courses really started getting heavy. The tuition I received really helped me master the fundamentals of Maths and Physics, and then expanded on the harder material, allowing me to reach my full potential. Greg was very patient with me and adept at explaining ideas to me in ways far better than my teachers ever were. After helping me get the grades necessary to get to the University of my choice Greg was also able to help me with some of the work on my course and was very enthusiastic about helping me learn more.

Greg helped massively transforming my grades, only wish I had started with him a year earlier.... Before re-siting my A levels I had received a D and an E grade in Physics and Maths respectively as my A level results and was rejected from all my Universities. Starting work with Greg for my resits, I changed these grades to an A and a B, both increasing by 3 grade boundaries, allowing me to gain a place at a top Russel group university to do the course I wanted.
You can really tell Greg has a passion for his subjects and finds a great reward in helping the improvement of his pupils, because of this I would especially recommend Greg to motivated students, but who perhaps, like myself, need to fully understand a subject and struggle to just commit facts and answers to memory on faith; Greg is excellent at grounding and tying together topics throughout Maths and Physics which I believe is key to gain the high level of understanding needed to do well in the exams.

My tutor Greg was just an amazing tutor. He talked through the course like no teacher ever has yet we had off topic discussions which made the whole thing feel friendly. Just outstanding.

During my A levels, I began to struggle with Physics, which I needed at an A grade along with Mathematics and Chemistry to get into my chosen University. After hearing very good things about Greg from multiple friends, I decided that he was the right man to go to. Greg does not only help you with problems you may have, but he also helps you understand the concepts behind them which I believe is very important in attaining a high mark in any exam.

Although Greg may specialise in Physics, his understanding of Mathematics and Chemistry are just as good and I was able to acquire help on these two subjects too if I needed.

Fast forward my life and Greg proved to play a pivotal role in aiding me to attain my A in Physics along with my A's in Mathematics and Chemistry. This allowed me to study my Chosen degree of Chemical Engineering at University, and Greg's tutoring still helps me now as it has helped me to attain a very good mark in my first year and has subsequently led to me securing a very good Industrial Placement for third year.

Greggs help was one of the key factors into getting me to where I am now! I am in university studying architecture and without his help I wouldn't be here right now. Gregg has a way of helping you understand the most difficult formulas by breaking it down into the basics and not only that but you learn WHY it works rather than just to plug numbers into formula. I think I learnt more from Greg than I did my teachers and I am so greatful! If you are looking for a very committed, very friendly and warm tutor then this is the place to go.

4 years ago while taking my A levels I was struggling with my further maths work, my school only scheduled 2 hours per week of lessons, so consequently I was left to do the rest independently - clearly a very hard task. This is why I decided to use Greg as a tutor.
He took a very friendly approach in helping me understand the new, alternative mathematical concepts that were presented with the further maths modules, and would often make the problems more interesting by explaining real world applications they could be used for.
Overall I received solid A level results and have now completed a mathematics degree at a Russell group university. Greg is also very caring and interested in his students futures, he has subsequently kept in touch with me over the last 4 years.

I first started seeing Greg after trying a string of unreliable tutors and was very impressed by his attitude and enthusiasm. The most important thing that he can teach is not just a grasp of concepts but a real understanding of how to approach them, as this is what is necessary to achieve the higher grades and also what is required at university level. Greg was especially helpful with the six mark essay questions which so many people struggle with and explained all concepts in far greater detail and clarity than any textbook.

I met Greg when I was studying for my A-Levels after lots of positive reviews from friends. After really struggling in both Core Maths and Mechanics in year 12, I obtained a C grade in my AS maths, despite needing A's to achieve a place at my desired university. Therefore, I decided to have a tutor to help me through my re-sits and A2 maths.

Greg was brilliant! He was able to explain complex concepts to me in a way that was easy to understand and tailored his sessions to the student. Additionally, he was approachable, patient, professional and a genuinely nice bloke!
