Very disappointed with this jeweler…
Very disappointed with this jeweler over last
3 years. My husband has used Mann’s for past 10+yrs/since we moved there. Very dismissive experiences over the past few years BUT when I took my engagement ring to be sure the setting/prongs and stones were secure I was sold an additional service to have metal restored to its original shine etc. A month after getting my ring back a halo diamond fell out. My husband spoke to them about this issue and was told “that can happen”. NO attempt was made to take accountability. Very disappointed. This is one of many disappointing experience from this retailer.
I’ve been treated poorly, looked up and down like I didn’t belong there (wrote the owner), had horrible allergic reactions to Mann’s brand items (their private label jewelry) they must mix the gold with an alloy (not uncommon) but when asked what it was they would not tell me what they used and then the last experience with my engagement ring.
We’re going to use a private jeweler in the area now. Would NOT recommend Mann’s.
