Das Münchner Mode-Startup “Mantahari Oceancare” wurde 2018 als Non-Profit-Organisation von Tim Noack gegründet. In seiner Zeit als Tauch-Guide in Südostasien berührte ihn vor allem ein Thema: Die Verschmutzung der Ozeane durch Plastikmüll. Ein Großteil des Gewinns wird an eine Meeresschutzorganisation in Indonesien gespendet, die sich dem Schutz der Meereslebewesen widmet und durch Forschung und Wissenschaft versucht, Öffentlichkeit und Regierung vor Ort aufzuklären, um langfristigen Umweltschutz zu ermöglichen. Zur Produktpalette des Startups gehören derzeit vor allem Caps, die aus recycelten PET Flaschen hergestellt werden. Der Verkaufspreis von 34,90 Euro wirft pro direkten Produktverkauf ca. 10€ direkte Spende nach Indonesien ab. Ein Gehalt zahlt sich der Gründer nicht aus. Für ihn geht es vor allem darum, etwas zu verändern, denn Wissenschaftler warnen, dass schon 2050 mehr Plastikteilchen als Fische im Meer schwimmen werden. “Das ist für mich das Mindeste, das ich von hier aus für meinen Lieblingsort, den Ozean, tun kann.”

I bpought hoodie and a t shirt from a volleyball collection and honestly i didnt expect them to be this good. Quality is nice but what's really important is that they can stretch very well. If they didnt, id probably end up ripping them off playing volleyball xD
