Simply the best customer service, advice and knowledge around. Simply brilliant - can’t do better.

A thorough and detailed introduction to beekeeping for anyone considering taking the plunge into hives and homemade honey. A lovely location - knowledgeable and friendly tutors - and free cake! There's a lot to learn for the bee novice but the pace is about right and the hands-on stuff at the hives is a great experience. You come away feeling that the answer to the question "To bee or not to bee?" is to bee!

Mantel farm is a very well run business who have a vast knowledge of chickens, among other things. Staff are very helpful and no question is too silly. They started me out on our journey with chickens and I still go back to them. If I’m nice, they even carry my goods to the car!

I picked up some supplies for my hens. I know I can always rely on Mantel Farm to have good quality products that they have used and tested themselves. I can always get advice about any aspect of keeping hens while I am in and I will always receive a warm welcome and smile. I don't go anywhere else for anything I need for my hens.

Very happy with the beekeeping course.The instructor was clear on explaining each section and let us all ask lots of questions which he answered.
It was a great experience learning about bee's. The course was set out very well.
Loved going to the beehives and seeing the queen bee.

Excellent place to get your bee stuff. Order online and it's ready to collect on a Friday or Sunday. Great to be able to browse too.

Mantel farm have always been communicative and helpful. I was due to pick up chickens this week but due to the bird flue, this has been delayed. However Mantel farm have been sending out updates and news around this issue and will be sending comms out to let us know when we can pick our chooks up.
