Extremely disappointed. I had ordered my birthday dress from this website expecting a gorgeous corseted red dress that was £50… I received the dress and it looked NOTHING like the photo . The quality was also terrible , such a cheap feeling . There was also loose threads all over the dress . On trying to return the dress they refused to refund full price but give me 15% refund as a “good gesture.” Absolutely shocking . I could go on about the customer service trying to haggle getting my full refund . I definitely will not be repurchasing or suggesting this company to anyone else . It’s a scam really . Shocking.

Biggest scam website I’ve ever experienced. Placed an order which was supposedly 5-7 working days delivery. Didn’t receive an order confirmation after the money came out of my bank. Waited about 5 days then emailed them asking where the order was and that I’d had no emails. They told me there was delays and it hasn’t been processed or dispatched yet.
I then asked for a refund as it was for my partners birthday. They then emailed me back telling me that I couldn’t get a refund as the order had been processed (literally a couple of hours apart).
2 weeks later still no email or confirmation of the booking ever arriving. Had to claim the money back from my bank as these are scam artists.
From what I’ve seen online they order their clothes from China, hence the delays and probably really poor quality if it does ever show up.
Avoid.

Website states free returns.
I emailed 3 times before getting a response.
They offered 10% off if I kept dress, I declined and asked for my free return.
They then offered 20%, I still declined and asked for my free return.
They then stated they want me to pay to return it to China.
Illegal false advertising against UK Trading Standards.
Avoid them!

I ordered a dress for a special event and was sent the wrong dress altogether. To make matters worse, the delivery arrived later than the timeframe advertised on the website, meaning I was unable to use the dress for the event it was purchased for.
When I contacted customer service, I expected them to take responsibility for their mistake and arrange a full refund at no cost to me. Instead, I was initially offered a 10% refund to keep an item I never ordered. When I rejected this, the offer was increased to 20%, and then 30%.
If I want a full refund for the incorrect item they sent, I am expected to return it to China at my own expense. I find this completely unacceptable. Why should a customer be out of pocket to correct a mistake made by the seller?
What makes this even more frustrating is that their own returns policy states:
“To initiate a return: Email us. Once emailed, we’ll provide a return label for you.”
I followed these instructions and contacted them regarding the incorrect item. No return label was provided. Instead, I was given a return address in China and told I would be responsible for the postage costs.
Their website also states:
“Damaged or Incorrect Items - If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos attached. We will resolve the issue promptly.”
I did exactly that. I reported the issue within the required timeframe and provided the necessary information. Rather than resolving the issue promptly, I have been repeatedly offered partial refunds for an item I did not order.
The company has also suggested that customers should allow additional time for important events. However, there was nothing on the website at the time of ordering to indicate any delays.
The delivery timeframe advertised on the website was one of the reasons I placed the order. I would like to add that I ordered over 2 weeks before needed in order to allow enough time.
The website presents itself as “Maribely London”, giving the impression of being a UK-based business. However, when an incorrect item is received, customers are expected to return it to China at their own expense. Had this been made clear before purchase, I would have thought twice about ordering.
Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again and would strongly advise others to think carefully before ordering.

Maribely's website is extremely misleading. It advertises 3–5 working day delivery and claims items are held in UK stock. This is false. My order was shipped from China, which is information customers should be made aware of before purchasing.
The website also advertises free returns. Again, this is misleading. Customers are expected to pay to return items to China at their own expense, making returns costly and completely contrary to what is advertised.
When the dresses arrived, the quality was poor. There were multiple loose threads hanging from the garments, the materials felt cheap, and the overall finish was far below what was portrayed on the website.
Customer service was equally disappointing. I dealt with Emma, who repeatedly sent generic responses that did not address the concerns raised. It became clear that emails were either not being properly read or were being responded to with copy-and-paste replies, resulting in the same points being repeated over and over.
My biggest issue is the lack of transparency. Customers are led to believe they are purchasing UK-stocked items with free returns, when in reality orders are shipped from China and returns must be sent back there at the customer's expense.
Had the website accurately represented where the products were shipped from, the true returns process and the actual quality of the garments, I would never have placed an order.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Maribely to anyone and would strongly encourage potential customers to read the negative reviews carefully before ordering.

After maribely asking me to email them again asking for a senior member of team to look into it for me I can confirm that no senior member has got back to me and I continue to be out of pocket as no dress has turned up yet after almost a month.
Ordered on 30/05/2026 based on the website advertising 3–5 working day delivery and claiming the item was UK stock. It is now 14/06/2026 and I still have not received the item or any valid tracking information.
Every email response has been almost identical, repeatedly stating the parcel is “in transit” and that tracking will update at the “next distribution point,” yet no courier details, tracking number, proof of dispatch, or confirmed delivery date have ever been provided.
Customer service has been extremely frustrating as none of my concerns were properly addressed, and I just kept receiving generic template responses. I also no longer need the item due to the excessive delay, but they continue refusing a refund because the parcel has supposedly already been dispatched.
Very disappointing experience overall and not what I would expect from a company advertising fast UK delivery.

Beautiful dresses and excellent service!, I bought a maxi dress for a wedding and received so many compliments. The material felt lovely and the sizing guide was spot on.

The company either promote themselves as maribely london or maribely uk. This is misleading, the company are based in China. However I thought I would take a risk as my daughter had fallen in love with a dress she had seen advertised and they clearly state on their website free returns if items are in original condition with labels on, unworn. The dress arrived and my daughter hated it, it felt cheap, it didn't have any labels on it ( incase i needed to return it)and looked quite different to the picture. I contacted customer services via email to arrange the return. After several emails back and forth they informed me they do not offer free returns, they are based in China and the customer has to pay postage. I asked them to explain why it advertised " free returns", no explanation given, I asked several times. They laid out my options... pay postage to China and they will refund if tags are still insitu and unworn, I explained there was no tags on the dress when it arrived. Therefore if I paid postage to China (£25) it was unlikely they would give me a refund. They offered me a partial refund of 20%/ £10 for a dress that cost £50. After several emails, their final offer, or in their words " goodwill gesture " they are going to partially refund me 40%/ £20 of a dress that cost £50.

This company is a scam from start to finish.
1) Despite their name being MariBely London, they do not operate out of London, or the UK at all. They state that they have a UK base but at certain times of high demand they ship straight from their supplier in China. This is a lie. All of their orders come from China. Their website states that they ship with a 2 day delivery service, but this begins once the parcel gets to the UK. It took my order 2.5 weeks because it had to come from China.
2) Quality. While their products are slightly higher quality than Temu, they are still of poor making. They have loose threads, do not fit properly and are NOT the same as how they look on the website.
Furthermore, one of my dresses was sent in completely the wrong colour. I ordered yellow and received red.
3) Most importantly, their returns policy is a COMPLETE lie and a scam. Their website states “We offer a 30-day return policy” “Returned items must be unworn, unused, unwashed, and in their original condition with all tags attached.” “Not the right fit? We offer free returns” “To initiate a return, email us. We’ll provide a return label.”
Please do not fall for this. They do not provide you with a label, stating that their policy is only to offer returns for defective items. Although this isn’t the same as is written all over their website. They will provide you a return address (which is in China) and you have to organise the return shipping yourself. This will cost you between £30-50. NOT free returns.
Based on another review, it seems like they email customers and tell them they will allow them to return if they change their TrustPilot review, which explains why all of the reviews were positive when I placed my order.
I can’t stress enough for people not to fall for this. I’m £150 down, with three dresses which are absolutely no use to me.

I have had a very disappointing experience with this company.
Firstly, the delivery information provided was misleading. When my dress finally arrived, it looked nothing like the item shown on the website. Similarly to other reviews on here. I have had several email exchanges with Emma, who offered only a partial refund despite the dress being completely different from the item advertised and being of poor material with faulty aspects. The only other option provided was to return the dress to China at my own expense. I obtained a quote for the return postage, which was approximately £30—almost the same amount I paid for the dress.
Considering the item received did not match the website photographs or description, I found it unreasonable to be expected to incur such a significant cost to obtain a refund. To date, this issue remains completely unresolved. I ordered two dresses, both of which are being rejected because they are nothing like the items advertised on the website. The quality is extremely poor, the dresses do not match the photos or descriptions provided, and I feel completely misled by what was advertised versus what I actually received.
Despite this, the company is refusing to provide a prepaid return label and instead expects me to pay to return the items to China at my own expense. The return cost is almost the same as the price of the dresses themselves, leaving me with the choice of either losing more money to return products that were not as advertised or keeping two poorly made dresses that I never would have purchased had they been represented accurately.
What has been most frustrating is the lack of a fair resolution. As a customer, I do not believe I should be financially penalised for receiving products that do not match the images and descriptions used to sell them.
Based on my experience, I would strongly urge potential customers to think carefully before ordering. Between the misleading delivery information, the significant differences between the advertised and actual products, and the way this complaint has been handled, this has been one of the most disappointing online shopping experiences I have had.

I have had an awful experience with this company not only was the delivery misinformation. Once I received my dress the photo and description on the website Did not match it at all. It was a corset back with ribbed detail on the front when it finally came, there was no corset back and no detail on the front just plain black stretchy material. I’ve had two separate email conversations with Emma and Martha from maribely
Martha offered a full refund and for me to keep the dress if I took down my original and truthful review about the shipping details being inaccurate and the fact it isn’t a London boutique.
Where as Emma has apologised about my dress and told me I have to resend (at my own cost) to yes…. China. Were they are shipped from like I suspected originally. So to date it’s taken 9 working ( 11 in total with the weekend) days to receive the item via yun travel and additional cost to return an item that resembles nothing of the photos and description on the website, therefore falsely advertising in my opinion. Unfortunately I am struggling to find how I upload the photos of the conversations and dress I received along with the website photos for all to see. Trust pilot doesn’t have a photo option sadly.
Please please avoid this company you literally would be better off ordering from shein.

Scammy company. Over charging for poor quality items. Based in China NOT London. No returns label in parcel. Sent wrong colour pants then argued they cant see the original order. Refused return and refund and automatically refunded 20% without confirmation from myself. Total joke of a company! Stay away!

Ordered a corset style dress. It arrived and was nothing like the pictures and the quality was poor.
Asked for a refund and they are only giving me 20% refund.
Have since found the same dress and photos on Shein.
Been scammed.

If I could do 0 star rating then I would.
Absolutely awful company with awful quality of clothes and awful customer service with misleading information.
Took ages for the dress to arrive which was in awful quality and looked nothing like the image.
Website state they do refunds and returns, and that the label will be in the bag- THIS IS INCORRECT.
No return label in the bag so I emailed. First off was offered a different size, when I already went for the lowest size. Then offered a different dress, when I already said many times I wish to return and get full refund.
Then come back and said they will offer me 25% refund and don’t need to send the dress back. Again I asked for full refund and happy to send the dress back. They then confirmed that the address for return is in china and I will have to pay for that, and not guaranteed a refund if they find something wrong the dress which is fair enough.
After spending days going back and forth on email, I agreed to a 30% refund. Thought fine I’m losing money but least I’m getting some back.
AWFUL COMPANY - do not buy anything!!

Really pleased with my order from Maribely. The dress arrived well packaged and looked exactly like the photos on the website. I'm usually between sizes and worried about the fit, but it was perfect. Customer service was also very helpful when I had a question before ordering.

⭐ 1 Star – Misleading Advertising and Appalling Customer Service
I would strongly advise others to think twice before ordering from Maribley.
I purchased a dress for a specific event, but unfortunately it did not arrive in time. One of the main reasons for the delay appears to be that the company advertises items as being shipped from a London-based warehouse, when in reality my order was dispatched from China. Had this been made clear from the outset, I would have had more realistic expectations regarding delivery times and may not have placed the order at all.
To make matters worse, when the dress finally arrived, it looked noticeably different from the photographs advertised on the website. As I no longer had any use for it, I contacted customer services to arrange a return. My parcel did not include a return label, so I emailed to request the return address and shipping information.
I was then informed that Maribley does not offer free returns. This directly contradicts the information displayed on their website, which clearly states that customers are entitled to free returns within 30 days. Despite asking multiple times for them to point me to the specific section of their returns policy stating that free returns only apply to faulty items, they have been unable to do so.
Instead of honouring what is advertised on their website, customer services repeatedly offered partial refunds of 20%, then 30%, then 40%, and finally 50% if I kept the item. I declined every offer because this has become a matter of principle. Customers should not have to negotiate for rights that are clearly advertised on a company’s own website.
The entire experience has been frustrating, misleading, and incredibly disappointing. Between the inaccurate shipping information, the dress not matching the advertised photographs, the refusal to honour the stated free returns policy, and the poor handling of my complaint, I have completely lost confidence in this company.
I would not purchase from Maribely again and would not recommend them to others.
