I would strongly advise against ordering from this company.

I returned my dress weeks ago. The tracking clearly shows that the parcel was delivered to their warehouse, and the company has even confirmed that it arrived there.

However, they now claim that they cannot find the returned item in their warehouse. This is not my responsibility. Once the parcel has been successfully delivered to their warehouse, it is the company’s responsibility to locate it and process the refund.

For weeks, I have been exchanging countless emails with customer service, going back and forth without any solution. I have also opened a PayPal dispute because I still have not received my refund.

This has been one of the most frustrating online shopping experiences I have ever had. Customers should not have to fight for weeks to get their money back after the return has already been delivered.

Very disappointing customer service. I will not order from this company again.

I love these dresses. 👗 In fact I have bought FIVE! Yes, I have a problem. They are made very well and I love love the fabric. And the shipping time to me here in Canada was so fast. Thank you.

I already ordered a few dresses from Marielle Stokkelar. They are all one size and sometimes it is difficult if you are not as tall and slim as the lady on the web site:) but some dresses are still very beautiful and I love mine very much. It is true that the return process is kind of difficult and exhausting and long and you have to prove the return because the parcel got lost somehow, but in the end it turned out fine and there was always one lady in the customer service who answered per E-Mail. The return process could be improved:) though dresses are still beautiful.

I have 2 dresses and 2 skirts from Marielle Stokkelaar. In addition I have purchased 3 dresses for my daughter.
The designs are bespoke elegance. Beautifully made, beautiful fabrics. They are sized so that anyone can wear them, no guessing what size to order. Well-priced, speedy delivery and arrive ready to wear.
I am an American living in Tuscany, Italy and there is never a place we go, the city, the country, or the sea, that I am not complimented on what I am wearing.
I can't wait to peruse the latest productions from this amazing company, Marielle Stokkelaar.

I have several dresses from this company. Initially I was sceptical about ordering and how the quality would be. However I was pleasantly surprised. The quality is great and the styles are just stunning. I always receive many compliments from people when I’m wearing them. Will definitely be buying more.

Having seen Vogue wearing the beautiful pink backless dress on Facebook I decided to look on the website.
My husband had been asking me whether I’d got anything in mind for my birthday this year…… I decided that a couple of Marielle dresses would be perfect. However, I couldn’t stop at two, I ended up ordering three, followed very quickly with another two dresses.
The quality of the fabric is amazing, it feels so fresh and soft against the skin.
The vibrant colours are incredible.
I also think it’s so easy when ordering that they are just one size fits all.
I was a bit disappointed about the duty that I had to pay to DHL, maybe that wasn’t made clear when first ordering, but they are such beautiful dresses it is totally worth it!
Love, love love my purchases and will enjoy them forever, they’re classics.

I have about 8 dresses from Marielle Stokkelaar and I have not been disappointed once or had to return an item. The quality is absolutely amazing and I have received several comments each time I wear a dress. However, what I am most excited about is my most recent purchase, the blue linen and lace dress. I can't wait to wear this beautifully crafted item. The quality is excellent. The fit is perfect. The color is amazing.

I ordered a dress at Marielle Stokkelaar which unfortunately did not fit, therefor I returned it on May 28, 2026 on my own cost, since they do not provide free return of goods. Today is July 30, 2026 and I am still waiting for my refund. I had contacted customer service several times without any helpful answer, only excuses and promises to solve the issue as fast as possible -2 months is not really fast in my opinion.

It is really a pity since I had ordered another dress before, which had great quality and I really would have loved to buy more articles and stay as a customer but not under these conditions.

I ordered a navy Chloe skirt from an ad I saw on instagram. I was a bit nervous as I am in Canada and this company is not. I have just received my order and it is amazing … material, fit, and especially the quality of the garment.
It is beautiful.

I ordered 2 dresses in February 2026. None of the dresses fit me. So I paid for return. But Marielle Stokkelaar didn't pick up the return package so it got sent back to me. Then Marielle Stokkelaar wanted me to pay for another return. I refused. So I got a return label emailed to me. I did the return with the return label I got from Marielle Stokkelaar. They received the dresses but they will not do the refund. It's been several months and I haven't gotten the refund. I have emailed them almost every week since February. But still no refund.

Bad experience with Marielle Stokkelaar. I ordered 2 dresses on June 14th, which was indicated to arrive in 3 business days, and it only arrived on July 14th after I had to follow up on the package! When it arrived, the two dresses came separately (July 14 and July 17) and the quality was not great and certainly did not look like the photos. One of the dresses did not fit and I will be returning it. Unfortunate as the images on instagram look excellent!

I bought a dress in good faith but unfortunately the 'one size fits all' doesn't work for the petite lady. I returned the item per the guidelines and after multiple follow ups had to initiate a chargeback and raise a formal consumer complaint in order to get a refund. Luckily I had paid for insured return shipping so could prove my item was returned to the warehouse - otherwise I would have had an even bigger issue. This is the worst company I have had the displeasure of having to engage with. They seriously need to sort out their operations - if it was my brand I'd be furious!

My husband recently purchased a red dress that I had requested as a birthday gift; a fab red dress. It arrived beautifully packaged but was just half an inch too tight across the bust. I contacted the company, selected an alternative dress and returned the original. The customer service is top notch. I was kept informed during the return and replacement process. My emails were answered very quickly by very polite and helpful staff. The replacement dress arrived and is stunning! Highly recommend their service and top quality merchandise.

If I could, I would give them a zero. They are total scammers. I ordered a dress that turned out to be way too big; when I wanted to return it, the manager suggested exchanging it for another dress but required me to pay for shipping it to their warehouse myself. The second dress turned out to be even worse than the first. I decided to return it and paid for shipping again; they received it, but for a whole month, they kept stringing me along with promises to refund the money. After waiting a month, I contacted PayPal, and they helped me get my money back. This company is a scam!

The dress, delivered in a cheap plastic bag, looks like it was constructed in a factory. Cheap buttons, poor pattern. Substandard fabric. Sizing incorrect. The return process follows the Chinese model; we will make it as difficult as possible to comply. Offer you a discount on another item. Ignore the request for days. Give you a form to fill out and insist it be returned within 48 hours so you pay for expedited shipping to an address in Georgia. I give them one star for the US address only because there’s no option for fewer stars.

Dreadful customer service… still waiting for a refund as they say my parcel hasn’t arrived despite tracking confirms that it was delivered
