I have tried to purchase 3 items of women’s clothing on line and in store over the space of the last 3 months and each one has been out of stock and unavailable at my local branch! What on earth is go... See more

Received flowers for Mother's Day ,on opening roses were already going brown on petals and rose buds were drooping. Very poor quality for price charged.
The demise of M&S
30 minutes on the phone to get a discount they sent me by email and wouldn’t work because flowers ordered were late. Gave up in the end. What has happened to the once great brand M&S. Asked to be put through to a manager and got disconnected after 20 minutes. Another ten minutes on again to speak to a Manager who needed to speak to their manager about what would amount to £3 discount for them failing to deliver flowers on time.
Stock availability not up to date
Stock availability is not up to date. Called in store to buy an item that was showing in stock, it was actually out of stock in store, wasted visit. Member of staff said the website is only updated every 24 hours. No point showing store availability if it is not up to date. Just ordered and paid for a pair of shoes that showed in stock. Later received an email saying order cancelled as not in stock. M&S need to sort this issue out to avoid wasting customer’s time.
Clothing order online
Clothing order online.
Fine no issues, returns easy enough and refund in good time.
Would be better if lowered min order for free postage.
Terrible delivery service
Online order from M&S shipped with Evri. Why would they use a courier with such a bad reputation. Evri app says my parcel has been delivered but it has not.
Come on M&S i expect better from you
Again!!! my online order was given out to some else
AGAIN !!!!!after receiving an email to say my M&S online order was ready to collect at the cumbernauld branch but again they had no notification of my order but when I contacted customer service ( who was very helpful, wish the people at the top was the same) I was told it had been collected and when she tried to order a replacement i was told the item was now out of stock Grrrr. I will never use their online platform ever again
Forget Marks and Spencer..Use NEXT ..or anyone!!!…
Marks and Spencer online service is a joke. Firstly my order of four items was split into 3 deliveries by the checkout system and I was informed that I couldnt collect in store because of supply chain issues. 2 small items were delivered yesterday. And I received an email at 0400 this morning saying the remainder of my order was with their courier, only to receive a further email at 0800 telling me that my items were out of stock and Im being refunded. Thats one week since I made the order and paid. When choosing items online you get messages sayong 2 in stock or low stock but after youve checked out and money taken it should be a confirmed delivery. This service is appalling. I urge everyone to use NEXT as Marks and Spencer are a failing business.
Not the company they once were
As long as you say nice things about them on their website, they are OK, but try to criticise and they go all weird and defensive. As an example, they would not use my review of their packaging:
I HATE, with a passion, the way they pack shirts at M&S. Is there REALLY a need for all the cardboard and plastic? Apart from anything, when they pack them like they do, they arrive horribly creased and you cannot iron out the creases without washing them first. Surely, in this eco-age, there is a much better and ecologically friendly way of packing shirts? Just fold them just before despatch and get rid of all the packing.
My other big beef is the time they take to get your goods to you. With Amazon, I can order in the morning and I have what I have ordered that day, at no extra charge. M&S take several days and charge you lots. They are not at all the company I first started using over half a century ago.
Very disappointing home deliveries
Honestly M&S is fine if you're in store, but online deliveries are a joke. When the whole world manages to get things out within a day or so of ordering, a week later I'm still waiting for my items to be dispatched. No tracking, no idea of when they're being sent. And it's not the first time, this is has happened every time I've tried to order with them. I think I may need to just give up now! M&S you need to sort out your home deliveries, or give up the service! Very disappointed customer.
M&S cafe refurb/let down
Cheshire Oaks big Marks. Went to the GFloor re opened refurbished cafe at the weekend with my elderly mother. Despite every diner having a table and chair we were told it’s all take away now. Small cardboard open boxes replaced plates. Flimsy wooden cutlery replaced stainless steel. And paper cups with tea & milk in, rather than a pot, milk jug and cup. I thought we’d sacrificed enough when they removed saucers. Sandwiches, tea and cake eaten like this for my poor mother. Knife broke twice, no spoon just a piece of wooden dowel. Dreadful experience. Was told you can use the 1st floor restaurant if you want proper dishes. Not that easy with a 97 yr old in tow. Marks seem to care less and less about the customer’s experience or comfort. Almost everyone in there was 60+. We deserve better when we’re paying top dollar.
Weeding out bad reviews
I ordered a plant online for a relatives 90th Birthday. I specifically chose a delivery date when I knew people would be there so they could take it in for him. It didn’t arrive. Three days later, after many “in transit” and “delayed” messages I contacted customer services. A pleasant woman said she understood the plant would be dead so ordered another one. More delayed and in transit notifications followed. Finally, sadly after my relative was taken into hospital, the parcel was delivered at 9.45pm to an empty house a week after the Birthday. The “safe place” they chose was the front door step.
When asked to review my purchase I told them in no uncertain terms what I thought. They replied that my review had been moderated and declined to post it as it was about the delivery! How many negative reviews are invalidated by this get out clause? I will never buy anything from them online again!!! With some irony I have since received emails with suggestions for Mothers Day and Easter. Never again!
Marks & Spencer have to have most…
Marks & Spencer have to have most abysmal customer service when ordering clothing online, they have two speeds, DEAD SLOW & STOP! Even though you pay for delivery they are just the worst, you will be waiting 6-7 days or more before you get the items, when you finally get your order it will be all scrunched up and stuffed in the bag, they appear not to give a hoot about the condition of your items because they are clearly NOT packed with care!
Of all the companies I order from, M&S get a big fat 0 or 0 stars
There are some not so well off pensioners m&s
Got a bit of shopping tomatoes went fuzzy bought a tin of lemon shortbread yuk and prices shocking. Also not given the options to opt out of valentine's or mother's day

Chelmsford store
Chelmsford store, click and collect. At the moment taking over two weeks from point of ordering payment being taken out of account, to being sent to store. Items lost, delivery dates not achieved, and in some cases items sold out, meaning they have charged me for items that are no longer in stock by the time it's due to be delivered. So after a 2 week wait I get a refund. Can someone explain why there is a problem with Chelmsford store and not others????
Very disappointing, chewy, grissly meat with cardboard topped pastry!
I bought the deep filled shortcrust pastry topped pie and it was absolutely terrible. The meat was chewy, not tender at all, definitely a cheaper meat and as for the butter rich pastry, it was like cardboard. Would I recommend? NO.
Stopped selling their best bra
Looks like M&S have discontinued the Body by M&S Flexifit™ Wired Full-Cup T-Shirt Bra. I really can't understand why they would discontinue this product. They have loads of plunge and push up bras and unwired bras but have stopped selling something which is the best most comfortable bras ever! Really disappointed with this and will have to try and find something to replace them. None of the other bras they sell are any use, and the only other underworld tshirt bra has lace around the chest band which is really uncomfortable. Going to lose a lot of customers including me.
Not a good enough service!!
A card (post) plus token for daughter-in-law birthday. Ordered on 19th, delayed notice from Royal Mail on 24th.....didn't even arrive by 26th (the day in question). It has taken me two lengthy phone calls plus online chat and in the end - despite a small acknowledgement by way of compensation.....I have to cancel the card and then buy an ecard instead. This wasn't what I planned and the refund could take a number of days before arriving.....
The call handlers were helpful (although the guarantees from the first person just weren't fulfilled). We will see if the current offers actually materialise. Used to be such a good service. Will not use again.
M&S Caramel Egg 2026
M&S is a great place to shop, but M&S Caramel Egg 2026. After eating one egg, had a terrible headache, so had to have a Paracetamol. Looked at the ingredients. Ingredients in your Caramel Egg: Sugar, Dried Whole Milk, Cocoa butter, Glucose Sryup, Water, Sweetened Condensed Skimmed Milk, (Skimmed Milk Sugar) Cocoa Mass, Coconut Oil, Humerctant: Sorbital, Glycerol, Palm Oil, Sunflower Oil, Rapeseed Oil, Butter (Milk), Dried Skimmed Milk, Butter Oil, (Milk), Dextrose, Emulsifier: Lecithins (Soya), Salt, Natural Flavourings, Caramelised Sugar Syrup, Preservative: Sorbic Acid, Vanilla Bean Seeds, MilkChocolate contains Cocoa Solids 33% minimum, Milk Solids 20% minimum. Surely M&S can do better than this?
I thought I'd give M&S a go for a few…
I thought I'd give M&S a go for a few groceries. After—all, they are touted to be a cut above the rest so and thought I'd be getting something special. I bought a stalk of Celery, a pack of 6 Beef Sausages, a pack of 6 Soft wholemeal Rolls and a pack of 4 Fruit Scones.
The celery came into the country from Spain, as does the rest of the major supermarkets. The Beef Sausages were pan fried and produced so much fat which I've never seen the likes of. The wholemeal rolls were described as being light but were very dense, damp-ish and heavy. I pinched a little from one roll, and it was a sticky dough so I took the remainder of the roll and rolled it on the palm of my hands and it returned to dough and the Fruit Scones were absolutely tasteless.
I threw everything in the bin except the celery and will avoid M&S Groceries at all cost in future.
