I’m extremely disappointed with the service we’ve received from Marley Roofing Products

On a project involving over £100,000 worth of Marley materials, we’ve encountered repeated and unacceptable issues from start to finish. Deliveries have been consistently delayed, causing disruption to our programme and knock-on delays across the wider project.

Even more frustrating is that, despite providing clear and correct specifications, we’ve received incorrect and products on multiple occasions. This has resulted in additional time spent resolving issues, reordering materials, and re-planning works that should have been straightforward.

To make matters worse, some of the products that have arrived have been damaged, further compounding delays and creating unnecessary waste. Communication and scheduling have also been poor, with little reliability or accountability when problems arise.

For a company of this scale and reputation, this level of service is simply not acceptable especially on a project of this value. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Marley and would think very carefully before specifying their products again.

Kevin made us welcome from the minute we walked in, very in depth and hands on course and left with plenty of new knowledge.

Why is this company allowed to continue trading?
They falsely claim to be an English company selling quality goods.
This is a complete lie. Their goods are cheap and shoddy and made in China.

Kevin was very welcoming. He passed on the information clearly and professionally in a manner that all present could understand.
The setting out of the solar panels was clear and well demonstrated, with all attendees given the opportunity to apply the pasted on knowledge by fitting the solar panels.

I am sick and tired of these companies that advertising and miss leading the public. Marley.uk is very miss leading and when you call for assistance which is non existence. They stress that on their site that they will only deal with the middle man and not direct customers. Time wasting

Shocking services been using Marley for about 20 years and they are fulling a part! Ordered clay Heather’s corners arrived at Alsford and they decided to send them back to their main depot near Newcastle. I’ve asked them to be re-delivered and they give me a month wait!!! No customer care at all, they do what they like without any consequences at all they hold no responsibility for nothing and it’s left down to the small Guy to sort out it out. Try and find a company that cares about the customer.

Had Marley anthracite tiles installed. Every tile had the coating damaged in transit. Marley refuse to do anything to help. They look awful. Avoid.

I posted a review indicating the very poor quality of the Marley roof tiles.. I received a reply asking me to contact their customer service centre, eventually received a generic email. The next email was to advise they had inspected my roof and we had efflorescence on the tiles. They did NOT visit my house as we have security cameras and video. They admitted to LYING. . In other words they weren’t interested to spend any time or effort to investigate the very poor quality of their product. They considered me as being insignificant as I had dared to criticise their product. They considered themselves to be above any form of criticism nor were they willing to listen. They challenged the date of completion, although this was evidenced by bank payment and the completion inspection report from our council building department. Their roof tiles in our case are of dreadful quality but they automatically assumed that that as a mere customer we were at fault. Their stance is Marley are beyond and form of blame or considered it necessary to investigate further. Many roofers, builders and suppliers, consider their products is highly inferior to many other brands available. They lack any quality, are poorly made and the quality varies considerably, one batch might be acceptable whilst another is absolutely dreadful. Unfortunately, the latter is by far the most frequent. Be warned AVOID MARLEY TILES. There are far better, more durable, aesthetically pleasing , superior quality and cheaper tiles on the market that these dreadful ones. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. Our complaint is now sitting with the Technical Manager. He uses exactly the same generic emails. Next it’ll be their CEO. This tale to be continued …………..

Glad I took up the offer to understand how to do it properly. Kevin made it clear and simple with some very important details on seals and trim fitting techniques and sequence of flashing fit.
Easy to mess up if you do not understand the simple but important sequences and connection details.

Awful tiles no matter which tile used. I’ve been a roofer for over 20 years and Marley quality has diminished. You only have to look at them the wrong way and they break. They’re obviously not giving them enough time to cure because that would harm their profits.

A great course, Kev that held the course was spot on.

Our brand new dream home had its roof tiled by Marley Contracts using their Edgemere duo concrete tiles. What a bad choice that was! Within 4 years the entire front facing pitch, virtually every tile started loosing its colour.
At 8 years it has now become so unsightly I’ve had to pay to have it recoated at great expense.
Marley took months to even respond to my complaint and fobbed me off with alleged ‘weathering’ without even coming to see it.
Do not use these tiles unless you want ripped off!

So sorry I confused this company with Marley Shoes when I did my last review, Marley Shoes are a scam! It seems that I was having a bad day.

The Marley training was excellent and Kevin was excellent.

I really enjoyed the solar panel training day. Kev is a very knowledgeable guy and his methods of demonstrating how to go about the installation of the solar panels was very informative and helpful.

Excellent training course. The instructor was really good. I can’t fault anything
