Hopeless! Waste of time
I ordered 3 times off Carmen and each time I chased for a delivery she gave me the 'I'm poorly and haven't been great recently' line, *eye roll*.
First of all I was so apologetic and wished her well, got my order three months late and ordered more. Same thing happened... Wouldn't you think I'd learn! Nope, my third and final order was three months late and I reluctantly ate the marshmallows and swore never to order from Carmen again.
What made the whole thing worse, was that she claimed she was taking no more orders so she could catch up, then I receive a promo email with free delivery?!? Seriously!!!
Safe to say I have not ordered again and I would recommend all to steer clear and even try making your own, it will be quicker than getting anything from her

Honestly what can I say that hasn't been already said. This business is a fraud and the owner "Carmen" a liar and thief. I'm not even convinced anymore that the marshmallows are veggie/vegan friendly. I'd highly doubt it.

Christmas order never arrived, all comms ignored
I ordered a Christmas selection box as a present for my wife well before the cut-off date for Christmas deliveries. I received an email saying the order had been dispatched via Royal Mail Tracked, but was not given a tracking number. The order never arrived and so far my email chasing up the order has been ignored. Looking at the other reviews on here, I'm starting to suspect it was never sent in the first place.

Hmmm, where to start.....
On Dec 15 2019 I ordered some vegan marshmallows for Christmas. Had an email from the owner (the exotically, perhaps mythically named Carmen Sandiego) three days later telling me my order had been sent out first class and tracked.
No tracking number was provided. I emailed her for it several times but she ignored all emails and the next tangible contact from her simply said they had closed for Christmas and would reopen Jan 2nd.
Despite this I received an abundance of email activity offering special deals so clearly there was a presence at the premises. I put this down to Christmas Elves.
To date she has ignored 200+ messages and requests for my Tracking Number. An honest business person with nothing to hide would have supplied this long ago.
In the meantime I stumbled on the company's Trust Pilot reviews (86% of customers very unhappy) and even worse, found a Facebook page dedicated Ms Dandiego’s ability to take money for nothing. I would urge anyone who has been similarly let down to join it : Marshmallow Deli is Never In My Belly!
I have reported the company to Action Fraud, Trading Standards and the BBC’s Rogue Traders. I would urge anyone in my position to follow suit. And quickly too as in a month or so Marshmallow Deli will begin promoting it’s Easter bunny range. You have been warned!
Oh and one more thing - when a business can lie so immorally about it’s deliveries, there has also to be a question mark over it’s provenance with regard to veganism. There is no certification evidence issued by the Vegan Sociey and I would urge anyone who bought “vegan” marshmallows to send a sample to the Vegan Society for testing.
Edited to say The Vegan Society have written to me to confim they hold NO VEGAN CERTIFICATE for Marshmallow Deli.

I am updating my last Review. I ordered Marshmallows on November 18th for Christmas Presents, they were delivered yesterday December 23rd. Too late I had to purchase other items to send out as Christmas Presents. Such a shame as last year I placed an order and all was fine although they did take a little time to deliver but not as long as this. I never knew I was ever going to receive my order.
I am stunned a Business could be so bad. I will never order from them again.
awful comms, arrived a month late
Ordered on 11th November. No confirmation email but money was taken. No contact address or phone number on the website only email. Sent multiple emails all ignored. 8th December get a dispatch email and the order arrived today 12th Dec, far too late. Some of the marshmallows had no best before date written in them. Have tried one that had a date of jan on it, despite being tasty I would never order again due to the lack of communication, lack of social media presence and lack of contact details.

I ordered a load of marshmallows,over 2years ago, i never recd them, trying to contact them on numerous occasions, but no reply. I never got my £60 refund.
Terrible company, would never ever deal with them again.

How I wish I'd seen this page before ordering. My money was taken and I received an acknowledgement of my order. Since then nothing. No goods, no response to my emails.

5 weeks on, no items, no refund despite my formal complaint that they had breached our contract. I have advised Trading Standards and Action Fraud.

Some improvement, but a way to go
A couple of years ago I swore I'd never order from Marshmallow Deli again but my relative thinks they're delicious so when I saw that they'd altered their delivery system, I decided to give them another try, as a gift for my relative. I placed the order on Monday 28th October, and I got an email on Saturday 9th November saying that they’d been despatched. The web site said that they would be despatched by courier and that a signature would be required on delivery, and the email confirmed this. It showed my relative's delivery address correctly. Yay, I thought, it’s going well! When the parcel hadn’t arrived by Monday 18th November, I emailed Marshmallow Deli to let them know and to ask how long the courier would take. I didn’t get a reply, but the following morning, a package was delivered - unfortunately though it wasn’t delivered to my relative’s address, it was delivered to me. And it was delivered by standard Royal Mail, not by courier to be signed for. It had been posted the day before, the day I’d sent my email. So it looks to me as if the package was quickly sent out on receipt of my email (at least one brownie point for that) and sent by the quickest method (1st class post), but who knows what’s happened to the package that was supposedly sent by courier on the 9th, or if it was sent at all. I’ve given 3 stars for reacting quickly to my email (even though it was sent to the wrong address) and for giving them the benefit of the doubt over the non-delivery by courier.
Hopefully a change for the better
So having been one of the customers affected by a non-delivery last year (and having to go through the bank to get a refund) I was surprised to see that a new website had been launched for marshmallow deli. However, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because as far as vegetarian marshmallows go, they are second to none. So with hesitation I made an order.....to my surprise it arrived within the delivery time quoted and the marshmallows themselves were DELICIOUS (the salted caramel were divine).
I really hope that any previous issues have been resolved and that marshmallow deli will continue to fulfill customer's orders. If there comes a time again where orders cannot be fulfilled - COMMUNICATE with your customers! They will be a lot more understanding and you are less likely to lose business or receive negative feedback!

I ordered marshmallows in June 2018, after a couple of emails back and forth in the following 2 months about it being too hot to send the marshmallows out, everything went quiet. I sent an email a few months later requesting a refund, nothing. Again, nothing. Said I would contact the ombudsmen - sorry, I will send out your marshmallow and send a refund. Nothing. Started again in January...refund promised, refund never sent. Every couple of months, I tried..a year on - still no marshmallows or a refund..completely shocking company model.

First order arrived so late I forgot I had ordered. The second never arrived. She eventually replied saying she had been ill and I reordered. Haha. It never arrived. Had to raise a dispute with PayPal and almost 6 months later received a refund.
Do not order. I think her business model is assuming you'll forget you ordered, lying to customers and stealing their money, Hoping they will miss the window for raising a dispute.

Really hate giving bad reviews but this company deserves it which is a shame because the product is pretty good .. if it ever arrives!! My order allegedly shipped in early April for Easter .. sent multiple Emails chasing and still not received either the goods or a reply. Appalling customer service .. I would strongly recommend not to buy from them.

I have exactly the same experience. I have ordered on 31st March 2019 and never received my order despite a order shipment notification on 9th April. Since then, I have tried to contact via emails and online contact forms. No response was received ( the email start with Carmen no longer exists, try ‘hello@‘ for better luck). Eventually I have managed got in contact with Citizens Advice Consumer service ( you will need to contact them to get through to Trading Standard). It was at this point, the owner of Marshmallow Deli knew I was serious. I received an email notification saying my refund was processed. And waited another 3 days, money was back in account. Overall It took over a month to sort out.

UPDATE: I have this morning received an email from Marshmallow Deli telling me I have been refunded. If it is genuine, then I take back what I said about the company. Watch this space ...
FURTHER UPDATE: I've just checked my credit card account online and yes, I have received a full refund which I didn't even request! So relieved. It seems a lot of people also received an email from the MM Deli saying their order was shipped on 9th April. I hope you all get a refund too.

I am not surprised to see so many other bad reviews....this woman is a fraudster...she claims to have ME as an excuse for not getting orders out...she claims to have posted them when she clearly has done no such thing....she refuses to refund unless you mention Trading Standards. I have had issues every time I have ordered. The reason we go back and give her more chances is that her products are simply the best. But you have to wait at least 6 months for them, if they turn up at all...I have missed Mother's day, birthdays, Christmases and she doesn't get that you need the customer to receive them in time when they give you a deadline. The most annoying thing though is that she continues to bombard you with Free Shipping offers and holiday offers when she clearly cannot cope with the orders she already has, including yours.
Sad...I would love someone to take them to a lab to make sure they are vegan...no other company can match the taste and texture....
